In the Name of God Amen. I Isaack Collyer of the County & Parish of York in Virginia being in Sound health and pfod Memory praifed be Given to Almighty God for the Same & knowing the uncertainty of this Life on Earth and being defired to Settle things in order, Doo Make this my Last Will & testament In fforms ffollowing, that is to Say first and principally I Commend my Soule to Almighty God, my Creator affuredly believing that I Shall receive full and pardon and ffroo konnifion of all my Sinns and bee Saved by the profeire of Death and Mercies of my Beloved Savior and Redeemer Crist Jesus, and my Body to the Earth from whence it was taken to bee buryed in Such decent and Christian Manor and as for things Such worldly Eftate as the Lord hath in Mercy Lent mee, My Will and meaning is that the Same Shall Bee imployed and Beftowedas how after by this my Will is Exprest, and first I doo rebuok, Renounce, and make voyd all Wills by me formerly made and declare and appoint this my Last Will and Testament. Item I give unto my Sonne Charles Collyer, and his heires for ever, all that tract of Land that I bought of Mr. Henry Leebeing bu Estimaton about three hundred and fifty Acres more or Lefs Lying in the parish of Hampton in the County of York, and if ___ my Sonne Charles Collyer Dye without Issue, then I give the fore menconed three hundred and fifty Acres of Land unto my Sonne Abraham Collyer and his heires, and if my Sonne Abraham Collyer Dye without Issue, then I give the fore menconed three hundred and fifty Acres of Land unto my Sonne Thomas Collyer and his heires, and in Case my Sonne Thomas Collyer Dye without Issue, then I give the aforesaid three hundred and fifty Acres of Land to my Daughter Sarah Collyer and her for Ever. Item I give to my Sonne Abraham Collyer and his heires all that Land I bought of mr. John Underhill and his Wife, being by Eftimacon two hundred Acres more or Lefs Lying in the parish of Hampton in York County and in Case my Sonne Abraham Dye without Iffue the abovefaid two hundred Acres of Land more or Lefs, _____ I give unto my Sonne Charles Collyer and his heires, and in Case my Sonne Charles Collyer Dye without Iffue, then Item I give the aforefaid two hundred Acres of Land unto my Sonne Thomas Collyer and his heirs and in Case my Sonne Thomas Dye without Issue then, Item, I give the afore menconed two hundred more or Lefs unto my Daughter Sarah and her heires for Ever, Item I give unto my Daughter Sarah and her heires all that Land I bought of mr. Samuell Sonynall being by Estimacon Seaventeen hundred Acres of Land Lying in the Newporsfon parish In York County, and in Case my Daughter Sarah Dye without Iffue,then I give the aforefaid Seaventeen hundred Acres of Land unto my Sonne Charles Collyer and his heires, and in Case my Sonne Charles Dye without Iffue then, Item, unto my Sonne Abraham Collyer and his heires, and in Case my Sonne Abraham Dye without Iffue, then Item unto my Sonne Thomas Collyer and his heires for Ever, Item, I give unto my three Sonnes and Daughter and other of their heires, and to the Survivour of my aforefaid three Sonnes and Daughter, all that tract of Land I bought of mr. Singnall in the Oaken Swamp, sd. in the abovefaid parish and County, the quantity being ffowor hundred and five Acres of Land, and the abovefaid fowor hundred and five Acres of Land to be Equally divided betweene my abovesaid three Sonnes and Daughter, and to be for timber to them all. Item, as to all my Lands here above bequeathed my Will is that the Land Shall Remain in the poffeffion of my Wife Mary Collyer Mother unto my abovefaid Sonnes and Daughter During her naturall Life, and after my Said Wifes Death, the abovefaid Law & Rehirne, as above bequeathed them. Item, as to my personall Eftate all of itt I give unto my abovefaid Wife Mary Collyer Dureing her naturall Life, and after her death to Rehirme to my above three Sonnes and Daughter and Either of their heires, and to bee Equally divided of them all and I further doo order my Wife and my three Sonnes Thomas, Charles and Abraham Collyer to bee Executors of this my Last Will and Testament and further I doo make and ordain Mr. Dudley Digges and mr. Thomas Ballerd and Mr. Henry Lee Overfeers of this my Last Will and Testamt. and order my Executrs. to provide within a______ Month of after the pbatt of my Will three Gold Rings Soald of twenty Shillings price for the above Said Gentlemen My Overfeers of the Will. In Wittneff hereof I the abovefaid Isaack Collyer have hereunto Sett my hand & Seale this Tenth day of March 1688.
