Mr Smith: "Well howdy there. You look like you're just aching to buy a wonderful pre-loved car. Well you came to the right...."
"Oh, Investigation agency you say! Well let me tell you I have nothing to hide here. Anything you heard about the brakes on the Ford was just pure speculation by the gutter press. And the gearbox in that Mazda - a load of rubbish what they printed, my lawyers are looking into...."
"What? It's not about cars? Look at what Pictures? Well that sure was a long time ago! That's my wife Barb. Boy, she sure was a lot slimmer back then".
"Yasmina. Sure I remember her. I dated her for a while. She died in an accident you know. Some Dick lost it on his bike and he fell off, but his bike smashed right through the windscreen of her car - horrific mess".
"Yeah I know she had a son, but Nahh, not mine! Look I only went out with her because I wanted to get closer to get to Barb who was her friend." I suppose she might have been a little miffed when I broke it off with her, but she didn't say much. I mean we fooled around a bit but usually used, .... you know, protection. She went out with that Dick guy that caused her accident you know, and he was a real stud, reckoned he had been with just about every girl in town. It was either him or that wimpy guy she was friends with - James or something - no Tom, it was Tom, but he was not what you would call "interested in girls" if you know what I mean".
"So, anyway, I'm a busy man. Can I interest you in this Corolla, one owner, hardly ever drove it, beautiful condition. Okay, well if you ever need a car, you know where I am".
