Subject: Your MP3.com Song is ON HOLD - Bad Encoding

Dear
Generic Clapton,

Your song Tears in Heaven has been placed ON HOLD because
of what we believe to be an encoding issue.

Additional comments for Tears in Heaven:

Here is a list of some common encoding issues:

FRAGMENTS - Song fragments of 0 to .2MB file size are
common. This typically results from Internet connectivity
or ISP issues. Consult your ISP if this recurs.

NO STEREO - Missing left or right stereo channel.

SILENCE OR EXTREMELY LOW VOLUME LEVELS - We cannot approve
this type of file even if done purposefully for artistic
motivations.

SONG SKIPS OR NOISE BURSTS

JUST NOISE OR STATIC

Please re-encode and re-upload your song file so we can approve it. Make sure the file you upload is encoded in the MP3 format at least 128kbps with 44.1kHz sampling rate.
(This is the default setting on most encoders.) The file must also be greater than 1MB and less than 20MB.

For more information on converting, ripping and encoding your songs, go to this URL: http://help.mp3.com/help/article/general_convert.html

Maintaining these audio standards ensures a quality listening experience for our users and provides an essential component of your online promotional material!

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best Regards,
