Welcome to the GENERATIONS SALON web site newsletter.  First and foremost, wed like to thank Diana Hajduk  our multi-talented receptionist for this fabulous web site.  We hope you enjoy her hours of work to make us look good.

Whats happening to hair for the spring season?  Jennifer and Jeffrey, just back from the Redken  International Symposium, reports that long hair still rules.  What makes it fresh is interior layers to give hair more swing and movement.  Soft, gentle waves are beginning to be seen on models in fashion magazines to give more romantic influences to the hair that reflect the same mood in spring fashions.  Picture ruffles and floating fabric.  Colors are taking a turn for the dark side.  Dark, rich, natural tones with accent pieces placed strategically inside, color that whispers, not screams. No more chunks (thank goodness!)  Blonde tones are soft beiges that blend and enhance natural color as opposed to overwhelming your natural color.  And grey is gone, gone, gone.  An in-salon class was held to update design staff on new color and cutting techniques.

Education for
GENERATIONS SALON design team is always an ongoing process.  We believe success isnt a destination, but a road we always travel.  We will be going to another education event in Detroit in March. We recently hosted Jen Plank  for an in-salon cutting class. We will also be having monthly in salon trainings.
