Code of Ethics

The LG Clan has become revered as a clan that fights with honor, upholds the true essence of the game, and is comprised of members that are skilled pilots and combatants. An LG General represents an elite group of Bridge Commander players and must become familiar with our code of ethics.

1. An LG member will never fire unless fired upon.
Exceptions include:
a. Free for all games ask to be sure.
b. An accepted duel.
c. Target has attacked an ally ask if assistance is needed.
d. Engaging target that LG is currently at war with.

2. Fight and Die Honorably:
a. LG members NEVER use cheats or mods.
b. NEVER self destruct during a battle, finish what you started.
c. NEVER fire on a target that has its shields down, unless you have destroyed its shield generator. Obvious exception to Wartime targets.
d. NEVER interrupt a duel in progress.
e. Always be gracious after the battle, win or lose.  For example; reply with good game or good fight.
f. Repair manually whenever possible unless it is understood that you can get a new ship.

3. Always follow chain of command and follow any orders given by a superior General.

4. As honorable players, it is our job to answer any distress calls unless call is received from a target that is being engaged by another LG member or an ally.

Protocols

1. LG members not engaged in combat should maintain formation. Flank the ranking general in a spearhead formation with the ranking general at the lead.

2. While LG Command does not authorize the use of Kessok Heavy Cruisers, we understand it is a personal preference. We believe that the Heavies give an unfair advantage; therefore we ask that if you are going to use a Heavy, do not use the LG tag in your name during battle.

3. If you get an IM, (instant message), during battle, do not leave the battle to answer. You can reply after the battle is complete.

4. When entering a room, acknowledge other LG members, allies & friends. Ask if assistance is needed.
Priority goes as follows;
a. LG members
b. Allies
c. Then Independents

Chain of Command

The Following are the ranks of the League of Generals:

a. (Gen)-General Highest Ranking General Reserved for Command Positions
b. (LtGn) Lieutenant General Second highest ranking General
c. (MjGn) Major General Third highest ranking General
d. (BrGn) Brigadier General Lowest ranking General
e. (Col) - Colonel - Rank for entry level members

The League of Generals values its respect among its allies and other members of the Bridge Commander Universe. It is important that each of its members understands and adheres to this Code of Ethics. Any infraction will be dealt with swiftly, justly and will incur penalties accordingly.

Respectfully,
LG-Gen Iccarus Chief Administrative Officer
LG-Gen Rahl Chief Executive Officer
