| If the Wheel is Fixed |
| Well, keeping with Season Premiere tradition, the Season Three opener was both wonderful and awful. I was pleased to be right that my personal prediction was correct and that Tyr and Beka were lost in the tunnel. I did not however like how they just showed up on the ship suddely. I envisioned more of a rescue mission, Andromeda going into the tunnel to find them and free them from this new enemy. By biggest complaint is the revelation scene where Tyr and Beka reveal their plans. Did they have to kiss? That was just a waste of time. I was dissapointed because I expected them to morph into the weird enemies, but they didn't. The writers just put that in there to make it look cool, and it didn't work. Also, how did Beka fuse Trance's hand to the railing? That was just weird. I liked how Trance got out. That was a good scene, but it could have been more creative. One last thing. What is up with the cat?! Come on. It's like the writers just kind of forgot about it. It that's not explained, or at least shown again I will be dissapointed. And why didn't Dylan try to save the cat when they were heading for the nova bomb bunker? It was just weird. Overall the first episode of the new season makes little sense, while the dialouge, people, costumes, and effects, continue to thrive. Note to the writers: Can we have a story please? |
