Sum of it's Parts
What can I say about this show that can't be said?  Not much.  I liked the plot idea and the special effects were good but I've heard that this plot line was not only done before, it was done several times in other Star Trek shows.  I, not being a ST fan have no clue what this means.  either way, I liked HG, sort of.  Not really.  He was childlike and clueless and that brought good comical sense but there was no connection to the series storyline as a whole.

Like I said the Special FX were good.  I liked Beka's performance of accusing Rommie of being vain.  (it's true)  Trance turned in a good show playing a lead in the story by protecting the innocent.  Her character is so naive and innocent but is still loyal and willing to stand up for people's rights (or machine's).  I like that in a character.  I hereby declare that I want to see more Trance in future episodes.

Rev may have been a nice addition.  His presence would have played a good opposition to VX.  Meanwhile, Keith Hamilton Cobb, who claims he never gets off even when his role is small sits with his few scenes and again portays the quiet, retracted Tyr we don't know and can't love.  Personally, I want to see Tyr be more active with the crew.  All he does is sit around unless the ship is under attack, and even then only if it suits his purpose.

Basically good episode.  Wish I knew more but is was really just one of those not-the-best episodes.
