Star Crossed
So, Rommie gets a boyfriend.  I like.  As the show progresses so does Rommie's human-like side.  Before, in "Mathmatics of Tears" Rommie confessed that she believed it was dangerous to love.  This comment forshadowed this episode, testing her ability to love.
In all honesty it's rather hard to see Rommie as non-human.  Her role on the show is so small and informational it didn't seem to make much difference.  Now the turning into the woman we want her to be.  Rommie bears a striking difference to Data, the only other android personality I know of (if you don't count Mr. Spock) [to make a miniscule reference to Star Trek].  According to my Star Trek reference, though, there has never been a fully independant thinking machine in a series before.  Data was a computer and he took orders and didn't feel or think.  I seem to recall hearing about an evil Data but even that could have been by order and non-independant.

Anyway, we're not doing Rommie's page here.  This episode was great though.  Emotion, action, betrayal.  There was a small reference to Rommie's feelings for Dylan, but they weren't built on.  Dylan's feelings for Rommie were more apparent.  He refused to let her go in a father/daughter/secret lover kind of way.  Dylan is Rommie's captian, and he kind of expects her to follow him no matter what, when she doesn't, he's totally shocked.  I guess it's easy to forget someone can think on thier own when you've been bossing them around for so long.  (not that Dylan's bossy)

Anyway, the end was good, I almost cried.  A woman haveing to kill her lover because he's a bad person is, as far as I know, new to sci-fi but has a small footing in Drama so there's a good mix.

I don't have much to say about the rest of the crew.  I missed Trance.  Her teeny-tiny part didn't exscape me. Harper was a little below his normal outrageousness.  All in all, many parts of this episode were a sad attemt to give everyone a little cameral time.

It on the top of the list.  That's all  I have right now.
