I'll have more on this episode later but this is what I have now:

         I am really mad. This weeks episode "The Honey Offering" left much to be desired. I really, really, do not like what the writers are doing to Dylan's character. I DO NOT consider any example of casual sex acceptable in any situation. I know Dylna's not supposed to be perfect, but this is well beyond that.

          Not only that but it makes no sense in the story. The way Dylan and Elssbet treat each other at the end of the episode in completly unrealistic, no to mention the way they acted and fought at the beginning. If there had been some leading up to that point or even a more convincing seduction I might, MIGHT, have bought it. But this interpretation was ridculous.

I liked Dylan's character because althought he wasn't perfect he was a good man, with morals. I am angry to be proven wrong. It's really sad too because it was a perfectly good episode up until the point of Dylan and Elssbett's encounter. I loved it. Too bad, it could have ended up at the top of my list too :(

          The only problem I ever had with "Hercules" was the number of encounters of casual sex. I expected better from this show, and from the character Dylan. Not to mention the interviews saying Dylan would not be another Kirk. I for one will not stand for this if it continues. I can't bear to see such a potential character wasted. If the writers/producers or whatever contuinue to corrupt my fav character this way Andromeda may lose it's biggest supporter and fan in the MidWest. I belive Dylan Hunt is above this.

          "The Honey Offering" was a deterioration to the whole show and a dissapointment in Dylan's character and I for one will not stand for Andromeda creating a character with more belt notches than Hercules and James Kirk combined.

Afterthought: I've calmed down some since I originally wrote this, I apologize for being offensive, but my point stands. I don't like seeing casual sex thrown around like that, especially when it doesn't make sense with the storyline or the characters behavior. It could have been taken out and the episode would have been perfect.
