| Harper 2.0 |
| Harper gets an upgrade from an exscaped Persied and learns everrything about the universe, including the bad stuff. (synopsis at bottom) This is by far the best episode of the series yet. Majorly stellar. It's going in my faves. The show keeps getting better and better and this episode is a huge triumph for Andromeda I like the idea of a show centered around Harper, he's one of my favorite characters and Gordon Woolvette has tremendous potential and talent as the cheery and sometimes perverted machanic. Someone said Woovet did a good job acting like someone who knew everything and whoever it was I totally agree. The writing was fantastic. There were tons of great Harper lines like "The Divine is good, don't use flash and if your nice to people they probably still won't be nice to you. Now,run along kids, Daddy's working" and I'll never forget the lovely rendition of "She'll be commin' round the mountain when she comes" done in several made up languages. I laughed throught the whole episode at the antics and was thrilled by the story line. One thing I didn't like, the creepy, deamon ghost-like thing. It'll probably be explained later but it freaked me out and there was no real info given as to what that thing was. That's sci-fi for ya. Kevin Sorbo played a good supporting role. It was nice not to see Dylan as the center of attention, even if he rode in to the rescue and acted like the brains of the operation that he thinks he is. Tyr had a strong performance, even though it was small, but that's part of the Tyr character, quiet, lying low until needed of threatened, them attacks swift and fierce. His fight scene with Jeger was good. It was nice to see someone who could match Tyr's moves. Beka and Trance turned in the challenging role. A simple but needed acompaniment to Harper's performance. Rev deserves an award for his performance. His simple forgiving ways were compromised and overcome. I held my breath when he attacked Harper. I thought he might kill him. All in all a teriffic episode. No problems come to mind (we'll forget the ghost-deamon thing). A few more guest stars would be something to look forward to, but with such a large cast guest stars aren't always neccesary. Looking forward to the next episode! |
