L: Because of it's universal themes. Weren't you listening?
E: I admit, the arcane language is hard to understand. What was his point?

B: I don't know...blocked, jammed, failed, I don't know. That was this afternoon. I haven't been able to raise contact since.
L: Knowing your friends he's probably out chasing vampires by now.

B: He's looped himself through half a dozen dummy cooperations, but he funded this project. The fleet building is a prototype for for identical office towers in Munich, Paris, Toronto, and San Fransisco. Gesundheit.
L: Do you recognize something?
B: Man, I hate when you do that stuff.
E: These globes are used for military operations. They're deadly.
B: I knew it.
L: Louis could still be alive.
E: Possible.
L: I guess there's no point in contacting the police.
B: And tell them what? My buddy broke into a hight tech building to investigate the alien Donald Trump? Are we sure Trump's human?
E: We'll find your friend and more likely a lot more.
Woman: Okay, any questions?
Policeman: Yes, if the whole building is wired than how secure is our information?
W: One-hundred percent secure. Each area's own computer networks are shielded behind a secure military-grade encryption firewall.
P: How about the danger of human intrusion?
W: Any unauthorized entry is tracked within seconds of the intrusion. Both automatic security systems and human response are immediately activated.
E: Any chance of having a look at this security system?
W: Well, if we allowed that it wouldn't be very secure, now would it? Eighty percent of our offices are already sold. We expect full occupancy within six months. Now if you will follow me to the display suit I will be happy to answer all your questions. I am afraid we are not able to take you through the entire building as yet. Several floors are in the final stages of construction.
L: What is it?
E: This circuitry is pure Theron. Byder, we're in.
B: Copy that...read you loud and clear.
Lethan: Stragglers? These two are not. Alert the guards in section two. I want�Hold that order. Now this is good, we have an honored guest in our presence. Get me Banning.
E: It's as if this entire building is alive. There are so many energies. So many frequencies. Wait. Do you have your pepper spray?
L: Yeah, I keep it right by my lip gloss.
E: This is bad.
L: I've seen worse.
E: It's not art, Laura. It's a Theron surveillance cluster.
L: Droplets.
E: Every one a camera. There's only two people on the planet that could have created it.
Lethan: Ethaniel and his human. It's more than we could have hoped for.
B: We could have hoped they wouldn't even get this far, Lethan. I need you to deliver him to me alive.
L: And if I can't? If I might make a suggestion...
B: Go on.
L: I know how to deal with him. We crossed paths back home. He's good but...primitive. Let's run them through the gauntlet. We can test our system and get rid of them at the same time.
B: It's too dangerous. I've experienced his primitive resourcefulness, as you put it, too often.
L: If he's in danger at any time I'll pull him out.
B: Very well, Lethan. I'll honor your guarantee. But understand, if anything happens to him you will run the gauntlet.
L: Of course. Our friend Ethaniel has a little surprise coming. Initiate.
E: Byder, we're traveling East.
B: Ethaniel? Ethaniel, come in, you're breaking up.
E: Byder, an you still read me?
Laura: This must be where he lost contact with Louis.
E: This building must be shielded from radio waves.
L: Ethaniel, who is that?
E: I'm not sure�someone.
L: They know we're here...we should get out.
E: I have to stay. There's something I have to do.
L: Dust.
E: Not dust, ash. Something has been burned here.
Laura: Oh, my God. I've seen this movie before. I don't think I like the ending.
Lethan: It's really very disappointing. I'd expected more from you, Ethaniel. Full power.
E: Lethan!
Lethan: It's a shame to see you lose so early in the game.
Laura: Damn it.

L: A friend of your's from back home?

Lethan: That is unacceptable. Seal all exits.
E: Lethan was one of the scientists chosen for Banning's pilot mission. On Thera his specialty was psychological warfare.
L: Friend of your brothers?
E: They were not friends.

E: One of the conduits has got to lead to the mainframe.
L: Which one?
E: I don't know...the information is so intense. I think it's...it's this one. Your shoulder...

Assistant: They're attempting to track heat signatures but they're...they're not reading.
Lethan:Well...They didn't just vanish, find them.
Laura: Looks like Bill Gate's rec room. This Lethan doesn't screw around.
E: On Thera, Lethan was a rival of my brothers. Thorber used to think in ways that baffled Lethan.
L: So Thorber can use both sides of his brain and Lethan can't?
E: Actually, our brains are divided into quadrants.
L: Whatever, why take it out on you?
E: Thorber's blood is my blood, his enemies are my enemies. It's always been that way. Okay, these are the names that are encrypted, just...here we go. Okay, these are the names of the companies that have already signed leases: Barrone Aerospace, Ditech, The Crim Group.
L: Those are all aerospace firms. Government contractors.
E: Yeah, exactly the kind of people Banning would be spying on. It appears the woman was right. The security firewalls would be sufficient for most hackers but not for Theron technology. This entire building is a security camera. Every little piece of information is accessible to Banning.
L: Add to the fact that identical buildings Banning has constructed all over the world have a perpetual source of top-secret information. Byder would have field day with this.
Assistant: He's in.
Lethan: What do you mean?
A: He's logged onto the mainframe in the data core.
L: Well, shut him down and get a team down there...NOW!
Assistant: [to Guard] Come on.
L: What did you do?
E: Nothing, nothing.
Lethan: Ethaniel.
E: Where is Louis?
L: We both know Louis isn't who you are really interested in right now, don't we?
Laura: You murdering son-of-a-bitch.
Lethan: I didn't ask your friend to break in, and if you did, then you're responsible for his demise. I thought your first worries would have been for your family.
E: Where is he?
Lethan: He...who?
E: Thorber...where is he?
Lethan: Did I say I have him? Don't worry, Ethaniel, you might get a glimpse of him before you die.
E: I have to find my brother.
L: Ethaniel, what makes you think he is even here?
E: That voice on the radio from before...that was Thorber. Laura, I have to find him.
L: We'll find him...come on.
Assistant: Who's down there? [to guards] Check the wall. Spread out and look around.
Laura: We're gonna get out of here, aren't we?
E: I hope so.
L: Being killed by a building with a bad attitude is not how I pictured my death. How about you?
E: I was certain that I would die in the heat of battle, my insides burned out by a Therac fire dart, and then I would be buried, with honor, in the valley of Spartus below the five peaks of Archdom.
L: That's my second choice.
Lethan: I'd hoped he'd put up a better fight. He's not the Ethaniel they all talked about.
Banning: You are certain?
Lethan: Very.
B: As certain as you where that you could achieve the atmospheric shift Thorber was to deliver?
Lethan: [to assistant] Find them.
Assistant: We're picking up two thermal signals in ventilation shaft D-37.
L: Well, it's time to bait the trap.
Laura: So now what?
E: We have to shut this operation down for good. Thorber. How could Lethan have captured Thorber?
L: We found him,..we'll get him.
E: I'm not so sure. That band around his head, that's a cerebral recalibrator.
L: Translation for the Theron impaired?
E: It's a mechanism used to extract information from prisoners of our civil war. But the ones that survived it where left mindless shells. Thorber would rather die than sacrifice his intellect.
L: Let's hope he won't have to make that decision.
E: Wait here.
L: Ethaniel.
Lethan: Ethaniel...still a slow leaner.
E: This is between you and me. Let Thorber and Laura go.
Lethan: Yes, well, that is not part of the plan.
E: Laura can't hurt you.
L: Well, she belongs to me now. Now that we have both you and Thorber there is nothing else left to stand in our way.
E: The humans know what Banning's up to.
L: Oh, that's good...insolent to the last. Course you realize Banning wants you dead but I'm going to offer you a more sporting chance.
Lethan: Bravo, well done, Dr. Keating.
Laura: Where is Ethaniel?
Lethan: You have more important things to worry about. As a doctor I'm sure you are aware of the limitations of the human body, a subject I find quite fascinating.
Laura: I'm sure you have.
Lethan: You seem to be highly susceptible to climatic variations. Thats why I have have had the forethought of making my building capable of duplicating extreme conditions.
Laura: What are you doing to me?
Lethan: I know human blood boils at one-hundred and thirty degrees, but I've never observed it firsthand. I thought we could do a little experiment. Isn't science wonderful? [to assistant] Increase the temperature to one-hundred and twenty five. Let's see how Ethaniel is doing. [to Ethaniel] If only your brother could see you now�The mighty warrior sparring with shadows.
E: Face the facts, Lethan. You're just bitter because you will never be as smart as my brother.
Lethan: Only one of us will be alive, though.
Laura: [talking to self] Okay, think of Christmas cards, Laura. Skiing in Worcester. Snow. A popsicle. All right...I'll fight fire with fire.
Lethan: This is fun to watch, but you're fighting a losing battle, just as it's always been. [to assistant] He's esacping. Get more men down there immediately. [to computer] Computer, track any unauthorized personnel in the building.
Computer: Do to the structural damage on level six, tracking sensors are temporarily off line. System is rebooting. Please wait.
Lethan: Security! Find them.
Laura: I'm having a very bad day.
Ethaniel: Me, too. But we're still alive.
L: No thanks to Lethan.
E: I've got to get you out of this place.
L: What about your brother?
E: If Lethan's already used the device, Thorber may already be dead.
L: After all of this you're not just giving up.
E: When Thorber was chosen to come to Earth and I wasn't, I was bitter, envious. Before he left we had a falling out, and then I realized that he deserved to be here and I didn't.
L: If it's too late for you to make peace with him, let's see to it now that his death was not for nothing.
L: That would have come in handy sooner. Is it working?
E: It will be. We need to locate Lethan's command center.
L: It's probably in a bunker ten stories underground.
E: No, with his ego, he would want to survey his world.
Lethan: Ethaniel. You have some unfinished business to take care of.
Laura: What the hell are you doing! Don't you see, this is exactly what he wants. Lethan wants you irrational and out of control. That's how he'll get you. We have to focus on Lethan. If we find Lethan, he'll take us to Thorber.
E: He's trying to bait us. The only way up to him is the stairs or the elevators.
L: Which would be as user friendly as the rest of this hell-hole.
E: Well, there is another way.
Laura: We have got to find a better way to get around.
E: I don't know. I am beginning to like it. Humor.
Lethan: Where are they? Just find them.
Laura: I could make millions, you know? Doctor Keating's access total workout. Perfect for busy moms, executives, fugitives running from aliens. Hey, talking to oneself is a fairly normal release of nervous tension. Works like a charm.
Lethan: Scan the ventilation system.
Assitant: We just did one.
L: Is that right? Than do it again.
E: Suprise.
Laura: We got your invitation. Thought we would drop in.
E: Take me to my brother.
Lethan: Of course, follow me.
E: Open it.
Lethan: He's not the man you once knew, Ethaniel. I've seen to that.
E: Just open it.
Laura: Thorber. I'm Doctor Laura Keating. We're here to help you.
Lethan: Some people can't be helped. Unh-Unh. Don't or I will kill him instantly. Zzt.
Laura:Okay, let's get you out of here. Okay, we're here to...Help. A hologram. He's not real.
E: I'll be back.
Lethan. Ow. The legendary Ethaniel. Great Theron warrior. I allowed you to access the mainframe. It was me that planted the information about Thorber to draw you in. I teased you with all those images. Everything you've experienced is my design.
E: You never had Thorber, did you?
L: No, but that day will come. Pity you won't be alive to see it.
Banning: I told you overconfidence was not appropriate is this situation, Lethan. Look where it's got you.
Lethan: He can't get out. My people have sealed the building.
B: Your people are gone. I've taken control of the facility myself and it's already sealed. You've cost me a very expensive piece of real estate, Ethaniel.
Computer: Auto-destruct sequence initiated. Three minutes until detonation.
Lethan: What about me?
Banning: The Caption always goes down with their ship, Lethan. Bon Voyage.
Lethan: Well, we will die together, you and I. Rather poetic don't you think?
E: Nobody dies.
Laura: Ethaniel, you hear over the speaker?
E: Yeah, we have to get out of here.
Lethan: He shut it down. I designed this place myself, there is no way out.
E: For your sake, you better find one.
Lethan: I just remembered something. It's an emergency override panel for the elevator. We might have a way down. Okay, it's safe...after you. What?
E: Human protocal. Hosts go first.
Lethan: No!
Computer: Auto-destruct sequence initiated. Two minutes until detonation.
Laura: What are you doing?
E: Put those on your arms...we are going down there. We will use them as breaks.
L: Ethaniel, that's a garbage shoot...We are thirty floors up.
E: Would you like to take the stairs?
L: I hope you know what you're doing.
Computer: Auto-destruct sequence initiated. One minute until detonation.
E: Run!
L: I'm glad we didn't take the stairs.
Byder: Well, the authorities turned up zilch. No trace of Theron technology anywhere is the rubble.
E: Thank you.
B: Your welcome. I'll tell you, though. I would have given half my Swiss franks to see that hologram technology with my own eyes.
E: I could have lived with out seeing that.
B: Sorry.
E: That's alright. Thorber wasn't real, which means that he's out there somewhere. I'm afraid that your friend Louis wasn't so lucky.
B: He never had a chance.
L: Well, at least we destroyed Banning's building. The rest of his buildings for the future will be a harder sell.
B: That won't keep him down for long. He's got tentacles in too many places. Hey, I'm glad you guys made it out alive.
L: It was a photo finish.
E: Lethan's pride was his downfall. Which reminds me of a Shakespeare play I saw once. �King Lear�, I believe.
