Installing the Windshield & Backglass

I ended up installing the windshield on one of the coldest days this January. I just turned on a space heater in the garage and went to work.

First thing to do is put the windshield gasket on the windshield. This isn't too hard, just a little tedious. (Gus was trying to help, but kept getting caught up in tape.)
You have to put the upper windshield stainless on the windshield before it is installed. In this picture, you can see a rope taped to the windshield. It was forced into the groove for the metal channel. We'll use the rope to pull the gasket up and over the metal retaining lip in the car.
Here, I'm pulling the rope down and then pushing up on the gasket to seat it properly. We worked the bottom around first, and then worked on the top.
We finished!!! Thanks to Bill for all of his help.
