80. William MORRISON⁶⁹ died on 18 Mar 1818 in Telfair County, Georgia.⁶⁹ William was one of five settlers killed in the battle of Breakfast Branch. Accounts of the battle say little about him, probably because the family had only recently moved from North Carolina. He was born in Scotland. William and Mary Morrison were both born in Scotland, probab;y from the Isle of Sky according to this research.
They were the parents of Kenneth, John, Norman and Murdock Morrison.
The family previously llived in Richmond County, NC before coming to Telfair County. By 1820 they had moved to Lowndes County, GA. William MORRISON and Mary were married in Scotland.

81. Mary⁷¹ was born about 1783 in England.⁷² She died between 1850 and 1860 in Marion County, Florida. Was in Norman's household in 1850 Marion county, FL census. Assumed to be his mother. Notes her birthplace is England. Children were:

	i.	John MORRISON was born about 1807 in North Carolina.73 He died on 8 Jul 1858 in Marion County, Florida.
40	ii.	Norman Campbell MORRISON.
	iii.	Murdock MORRISON was born about 1815 in North Carolina. He died before 1860.
