     6.  Benjamin3 Hurt (William2, Sarah1 Webber) was born Abt. 1724 in King William County, Virginia, and died February 08, 1781 in Amelia County, Virginia.  He married Anne.  She died Aft. 1781.

 

Notes for Benjamin Hurt:

Will dated 19 Jan 1781 (proved 8 Feb 1781) Caroline County Will book 1734-1830, p. 29:  His will names 9 children.  He owned the plantations of White Chimneys, Needlewood, and Thornhill in southern Caroline County, Virginia.  (Only the family burial plot at Thornhill still exists of these propertied,  The rest have fallen into ruin.)

 

Notes for Anne:

Anne was the second wife of Benjamin Hurt, and was mother to all of his children except the oldest.

     18.  Rebekah4 Hurt (Benjamin3, William2, Sarah1 Webber) was born Abt. 1745 in Goochland County, Virginia, and died 1803.  She married Rene Napier II March 28, 1765 in Goochland County, Virginia, son of Rene Napier and Winifred Champion.  He was born in Goochland County, Virginia, and died 1807 in Elbert County, Georgia.

     26.  Chloey5 Napier (Rebekah4 Hurt, Benjamin3, William2, Sarah1 Webber) was born January 12, 1774 in Virginia, and died December 1858 in Macon , Bibb County, Georgia.  She married Noah Kelsey August 01, 1808 in Putnam County, Georgia, son of Nathan Kelsey and Sarah Judd.  He was born June 13, 1765 in Connecticut, and died 1829 in Gadsden Florida.

     27.  Major Thomas B.5 Napier (Rebekah4 Hurt, Benjamin3, William2, Sarah1 Webber) was born November 01, 1758 in Virginia, and died September 30, 1838 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.  He married Tabitha Easter 1790.  She was born 1771 in Goochland County, Virginia, and died 1800.
