Patrick Napier was a barber and surgeon to King Charles I of England.  He was admitted to the office of Burgess of Dunbarten July 23, 1633, the same office his father Mungo Napier held before 1600.

     7.  Dr. Patrick7 Napier II (Patrick6, Mungo5, Patrick4, John3, Robert2, Elizabeth1 Musset) was born 1635 in England, and died 1689 in Virginia.  He married Elizabeth Booth, daughter of Robert Booth and Frances.  She was born Bet. 1637 - 1640, and died 1672.

 

Notes for Dr. Patrick Napier II:

Patrick Napier Jr was an early Virginia immigrant came from Scotland and migrated to Gloucester County Virginia by 1654.  He was born and educated in England.

 

Patrick Napier was an apprentice to Dr Alexander Pennycuik, surgeon-general to the Scottish Army crushed by Cromwell at the Battle of Dunbar in 1650.
