******I'm currently seeking information of the burial place of
James Bell and Margret "PEGGY" Troxell
****** I' am also seeking information on Jacob Troxell's 1st wife, the mother of his childern. It has been said that the "Cornblossom" stories were fictious.
Depsite all the State Markers, that were put up in the 1950's. This may be possible some that someone got their facts mixed up. Especially since Jacob Troxell's tombstone in Ywahoo Falls is dated that he died in 1810, when in fact all other documentation shows he was alive and died in Dekaulb Alabama.
This leads me to believe that all the folklore, legends and stories , may just be exactly that.I question, Cornblossom, being the name of the wife of Jacob Troxell, would love to see further documentation that proves this. I also question the indian heritage. But until I get proof of my theory, I will hafta go with all the evidence that points to Cornblossom
******I'm currently seeking information on the father of William Baxter Davis who is listed as JOSEPH DAVIS on William Baxter's death certificate. Mary Jane "POLLY" Davis was his mother. She was a daughter of Baxter Davis and Mary "POLLY" Jones. No documentation can be found for a "Joseph Davis" that connects with Mary or William Baxter Davis. The informant on the death certificate was William Baxter's wife, Luvada.
****** Currently seeking WILL/DEATH RECORD/BURIAL PLACE of William Bell and Nancy Burk, Joseph Bell and Nancy Davenport
****** Death Records of Baxter Davis & Margrey Dobbs, will, tombstone, etc
