William Baxter Davis was born January 7, 1881 in Parmleysville,Wayne County Kentucky. He was the son of Mary "Polly" Davis and Joseph Davis. William Baxter married Luvada Burnett on January 19, 1903, possibly in Fentress County Tennessee. Luvada Burnett was born October 13, 1884 in Wayne County Kentucky, the daughter of James Granville Burnett and Nancy Margret Bell. The Davis Family moved to Muncie Indiana about 1947, where they resided until their death. William Baxter Davis passed on August 1, 1968 in Delaware County Indiana. Luvada (Burnett) Davis passed May 9, 1974 in Delaware County Indiana. They are buried in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Gardens of Hymn Section in a small family plot area. Gardens of Memory Cemetery is located on IN ST RD 3, just north of Muncie.William Baxter and Luvada (Burnett) Davis were the parents of 13 childern.

was born December 21, 1903 in Wayne County Kentucky.He married Mary Margurite Condon on April 6, 1926 in Delaware County Indiana, by G Hawkins, JP.She was the daughter of James and Arie Mae (Phillips) Condon.Charles Wendell died in April 1983 in Marion County Indiana and is buried in Floral Park Cemetery in Marion County Indiana.

MARY DAVIS
was born October 15, 1905 in Wayne County Kentucky and died January 2, 1906 in Wayne County Kentucky. This information comes from a notation made in the 1910 Wayne County Census for the William Baxter Davis Family. It would be presumed she would be buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Wayne County Kentucky. Also Bonnie Ather Davis stated that she had 12 brother's and sister's.

OBIE LEE DAVIS
was born about October 15, 1905 in Wayne County Kentucky, according to the 1910 Wayne County Kentucky Federal Census. He died before the 1920 Wayne County Kentucky Federal Census. It is believed that he is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Wayne County Kentucky. It is also believed he may have been a twin to Mary Davis. Obie Lee is listed as age 4 in the 1910 Census, with Annie Gertie as age 3, she was born in 1906. There is also a note by Alma Whittis Coffey in the Census transcription that states Mary Davis was born October 15, 1905 and died January 2, 1906.

ANNIE GERTIE DAVIS
was born December 18, 1906 in Wayne County Kentucky. She married Lewis Hill, the son of William Hill and Sarah Ann Foster. Annie Gertie died April 19, 1972 in Pulaski County Kentucky. And is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Wayne County Kentucky.

CLARENCE DEWEY DAVIS
was born April 12, 1909 in Wayne County Kentucky. Clarence married Letha M Gregory, the daughter of Clairborn and Samantha(Bell) Gregory. Clarence died July 18, 1981 in Wayne County Kentucky and is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Wayne County Kentucky.

BERTHA PEARL DAVIS
was born January 11, 1911 in Wayne County Kentucky. She died May 14, 1928 in Wayne County Kentucky. Buried at the Bethel Cemetery.She was married to Johnny Decker

ROY RECTORY DAVIS
was born December 8, 1912 in Wayne County Kentucky. He came to Muncie Indiana about 1949, where he met Anna Alice Evans, the daughter of Edward and Lucinda M (Melton?)Evans. They were married on June 3, 1950 in Delaware County Indiana, by Reverend LA Singer. Roy Rectory Davis died March 2, 1997 in Delaware County Indiana and is buried in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Garden of Hymn along with his wife and family.

BONNIE ATHER DAVIS
was born March 10, 1915 in Wayne County Kentucky.She married William Wesley Elcannon Thornbro, the son of Paul Graden and Anna Mable (Felton) Thornbro on April 15, 1939 according to her divorce records that became final in August 1958. No record of this marriage is found in Delaware County Indiand Records. She remarried William Wesley Elcannon Thornbro on January 15, 1959 in Delaware County Indiana.They were again divorced and Bonnie married her second husband,Issac Frank Marcum on November 20, 1967 in Delaware County Indiana. Bonnie Ather died October 10, 1998 in Delaware County Indiana and is buried in the Garden of Memory Cemetery,Garden of Love, Delaware County Indiana.

OTTIS GLENN DAVIS
was born February 2, 1926 in Wayne County Kentucky. He came to Muncie Indiana with his family. He married Iona Jean Martz, the daughter of Edward and Jessie Mae (Phillips) Martz on March 21, 1959 in Delaware County Indiana, by Wayne E Tippy, Minister. Ottis Glenn died September 16, 1994 in Delaware County Indiana. Ottis is buried in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Garden of Hymn, in unmarked grave next to his brother Hershall.
