No Tombstone is found for his wife Sarah Coffey Dobbs.

DIRECTIONS: James C Coffey Cemetery, McCreary County Kentucky From Yamacraw Bridge at KY 92, go about .06 miles toward Creek Road , follow Wolf Creek Road .08 miles to Bee Rock Road. Turn left onto Coffey Road about .02 miles onto the James C Coffey Cemetery Road. The cemetery is about .04 miles north east at the end of the road. It is a gravel road passable by only 4 wheel drive vehicles. The cemetery lies north east of the Rock Tenn Ridge not far from the Big South Fork and Yamacraw.

James C Coffey Cemetery was established in 1913. It located on Yamacraw, Hilltop, McCreary County Kentucky. Of interest, is the burial of Sherd Dobbs. He was the first Dobbs Settler in this area and had donated land for the Shearer (Sherd) Dobbs Cemetery on Rattlesnake Ridge. His having marrying Sarah "Sally" Ann Coffey probably meant that he would be buried in the James C Coffey Cemetery, instead of the land he donated. As a matter of information; Lilly Coffey said, Sherd had a brother Jim "Fret" Dobbs, some of his childern were; Joe, Saul, Levi and Jim Boy. There is a Levi Dobbs and J.S Dobbs with a sandstone marker in a long concrete marker row at Sherd Dobbs Cemetery.
