FRANCIS BELL FAMILY OF WAYNE COUNTY KENTUCKY
I have just started researching the decendants of Francis Bell. This research is for my cousin in law. She is a decendant of Francis Bell. I am a decendant of Joseph Bell & Nancy Davenport. Some years back, we were at a family get together and my Grandmother (Bonnie) and her mother got to talking and realized they were from the same place ( Wayne County Kentucky) and knew the same people, were related to the same people both in Kentucky and Indiana. And when I began researching my family heritage, I came across the surname of Bell ( actually we have alot of common surnames in the both families). And I began to try and find if we had the same common BELL ancestors, which so far, I can not connect Joseph & Francis Bell as being related. We find it interesting that we have the same ancestor's even though we live 300 and some odd miles from Wayne County Kentucky. So I made a promise to my cousin in laws Mom and Dad that I would research their family also. Her father is a decendant of Francis Bell, and her mother is a decendant of Stephen Tolbert Dobbs, but I havent researched past their direct lineage. But I hope what I do find, will help others in their research also.
