Revenge, some say it is hell.  Revenge, some say it is a bitch.  Revenge is all that and much more tonight as WCW presents SUPERBRAWL REVENGE!

Superbrawl comes on the air as we go to the broadcast booth where Scott Hudson sits with Mike Tenay and Gene Bennett.

Hudson:  Hello everyone, and I want to welcome everyone to Superbrawl.  I am joined of course by Mike Tenay and the return of our former CEO, Gene Bennett.

Bennett:  Thank you Scott, I am here because the new CEO Ric Flair invited me to do color commentary.

Tenay:  Speaking of the CEO, he is in his office right now.

We go to the CEO's office.

Flair:  Hello everyone, and I would personally like to welcome you all to Superbrawl.  Tonight we have eleven big matches.  Now originally we had a flaming table match between Vampiro and the US Champion Mike Awesome.  On Thunder Mike Awesome was fired because he lost the fall in a tag match.  Since the commissioner made that ruling there isn't a damn thing I can do about it.  But I can make it as hard as hell for the Ministry to get that title.  So Vampiro will be in that flaming table match, and it will be against the winner of the match between Big Van Vader and Masato Tanaka.  So Ministry, get ready because WCW is ready for WAR TONIGHT!  WHOO!

Tenay:  What an announcement.

Bennett:  I brought Vader into WCW a month ago and he has since embarked on his Road Kill Tour 2001.  He has run over a lot of people and I think Tanaka and Vampiro will be just two more.

Hudson:  Well that will be interesting, and that is a broad prediction.  We are going to start with a bonus match between Steve Blackman and Ray Traylor.

Steve Blackman pinned Ray Traylor with the Pump Kick in 0:03:09.
Rating: 1/4*

Ray Traylor was the first man in the ring followed by the Lethal Weapon, still covered in the blood from the Ministry.  Blackman was like a man possessed and completely destroyed Traylor.  After the match Blackman attacked Traylor with his kendo stick before leaving him a bloody mess.

Hudson:  Looks like the Ministry has made Blackman into a monster.

Tenay:  Like Blackman needed to be put closer to the edge then he usually is.

Bennett:  Here comes Mortis for our next match.

Booker T pinned Mortis after a scissor kick in 0:00:22.
Rating: 3/4*

Booker T picked up a quick win and a big win in his career.  Mortis tired to hit Booker with his staff, but Booker ducked and kicked him in the midsection.  He then hit his scissor kick and got the win.

Hudson:  That was the match?  Booker means business doesn't he?

Bennett:  I can't believe it, Mortis is one of the top stars in the sport.

Tenay:  Well Booker wants a title and with action like that will get it very quick.

Hudson:  Right now I understand Mean Gene is with Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher.

Mean:  Thank you Scott.  Brian Christopher, you agreed to team with Scott Taylor one more time to get a shot at the cruiserweight title on Nitro.

Brian:  Gene, I did it just like you said for the title shot.  I can't stand this jackass next to me.  I dumped him because he held me back.  But tonight we do it one more time Scotty, just don't mess it up.

Scott:  Listen Brian, it doesn't have to be this way.  Those fans out there loved Too Cool, and those tag team titles are just rip for the picking.  Just think about it.

Brian:  Just don't mess up tonight.

Mean:  Looks like the Ministry might have the upper hand because of teamwork.  Lets get to the ring.

The Ministry (Gangrel and Papa Shango) defeated
Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor when Gangrel pinned Taylor with his
 special move in 0:09:46.
Rating: * 1/4

The Ministry picked up the win with teamwork and a little help from Gangrel goblet of blood.  The former partners had great teamwork for people who hadn't teamed for months.  The end came when the four men were brawling.  Brian and Scott hit a double suplex on Papa Shango.  Brian went up for the Tennessee Jam, but Gangrel knocked him off to the floor.  Taylor then knocked Gangrel to the mat.  He signaled for the Worm and began the set up, when Gangrel came up and sprayed him in he face with blood and got the win.  The Ministry then continued the attack on Taylor until Brian made the save with a chair.  Brian helped Scott to his feet.  Scott saw the chair and got ready to fight, but Brian just dropped the chair and left.

Bennett:  Surprising end to that match, I thought we were going to see Scotty's head busted wide open.

Tenay:  Well Brian must have had his reasons for not hitting Taylor, maybe he wanted to beat the champion and Taylor when they were at their best.

Hudson:  Well we will find out who those two will face next in this match.

Jaime Knoble pinned Mikey Whipwreck with the Jumping Tombstone Piledriver in 0:13:11.
Rating: ****
(Jaime Knoble retained the WCW Cruiserweight Title.)

This match was a great match, where the former US Champion came up short, but barely.  Early on Knoble controlled Mikey with highflying moves, but was distracted by the Sinister Minister.  This allowed Mikey to make a come back.  During the comeback, the ref went down.  This brought the Minister into the ring who knocked Jaime out with a chair shot. The official come to and made the three count.  From the back out came Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher.  The two men showed the official a reply of what happened and the match was restarted.  The end came when Mikey went for the Whippersnapper, but Jaime threw him off into the corner.  Mikey turned around right into the Jumping Tombstone for the win.  Brian and Scott came in and congratulated Jaime.  Suddenly Too Cool's old music began.  Scotty reached into his pocket and pulled out three pair of glasses.  He put one on and gave Jaime and Brian each a pair.  They then danced.

Hudson:  Gene, would you settle down, the whole building is shaking with you dancing.

Bennett:  Sorry about that, I just love that music.

Tenay:  There is water spilled all over Gene, try to control yourself.

Hudson:  Well there might not be any control in our next match between Vader and Tanaka.

Big Van Vader pinned Masato Tanaka with the Vader Bomb in 0:07:41.
Rating: ** 3/4

The Road Kill Tour continued through Masato Tanaka as he dominated most of this match.  Tanaka was able to hit his Roaring Elbow and a tornado DDT for near falls, but in the end, Vader was just too big and too strong.  He got the win after a chokeslam and the Vader Bomb.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match:
Boogie Knights defeated The Mamalukes and Fit Finlay and William Regal:
x Regal beat Johnny the Bull via the Regal Stretch in 0:13:11
x Disqo beat Finlay via the Last Dance in 0:15:16
Rating: ** 1/2

In a tag team street fight The Boogie Knights got a big win.  This match came about because of the Mamalukes trying to collect money from Disqo that he owed Tony Mamaluke's daddy.  Fit Finlay and William Regal were brought into this because of the Mamalukes costing them a match against the Boogie Knights.  The first fall was a submission when Regal locked in the Regal Stretch on Johnny the Bull.  Big Vito tried to make the save, but Disqo gave him a Last Dance and they were eliminated.  The Boogie Knights then got help from the Mamalukes for the win.  Finlay ran into the ropes with Disqo down but was tripped by Vito.  Finlay pulled Vito up and gave him an European Uppercut knocking him down.  Regal then turned around right into the Last Dance.  Regal tried to make the save but Wright gave him a dropkick knocking him out of the ring.  Disqo and Wright got the win.  The duo then danced for the crowd as they booed them out of the ring.

Tenay:  Gene, settle down.

Bennett:  I just can't help it when I see two guys that can dance like those two I have to get down.

Hudson:  Get down?  I wish those two would get lost.  Does anyone like Disqo?

Bennett:  I can't get enough of Disqo myself.  'Disqo fever, Disqo fever, Disqo fever yeah yeah yeah yeah!'

Tenay:  Get the hook.

Hudson:  Lets go to Mean Gene before the FCC takes us off the air.

Mean:  I haven't heard anything like that since the Honky Tonk Man.  Guys, I am here with Scott Steiner and Rhino.  Guys, tonight while you are a tag team you will also be competing against each other for that TV title.

Steiner:  Mean Gene, last night I was busy with my freaks yet my mind was on one thing, that is MY TV title.

Rhino:  Hold it right there Scotty, I want that title as much as you.

Steiner:  That might be, but that title is going around my waist, because I am all about freaks and peaks.

Rhino:  Well it might be all about freaks and peaks, but if you try stopping me from winning that title it will be your problem and I will make you my freak.

The two men get into each other's face.

Mean:  Well if you two don't get it together you will be Guido and Sal's freak.

Steiner and Rhino both look at Mean Gene and then leave.  We see footage of Little Guido getting wins over both Rhino and Scott Steiner with help.  We then go to the ring where Guido and Sal are waiting.

Rhino and Scott Steiner defeated Sal E. Graziano and Little Guido Maritato when S. Steiner made L. Guido submit to the Steiner Recliner in 0:06:58.
Rating: * 3/4
(Scott Steiner won the WCW TV Title)

Scott Steiner won the TV title in this brawl.  There wasn't a tag in the whole match.  Several times Rhino and Steiner saved Guido from the other person.  The end came when Rhino gored Big Sal out of the ring nearly tipping the ring over.  Rhino turned around right into Steiner Line from Scotty.  Steiner ducked a lariat attempt from Guido and gave him a belly-to-belly suplex.  He quickly locked in the Steiner Recliner and got the win and the title.  Rhino came in and tried to attack the new champion but Steiner backdropped him out of the ring.

Bennett:  MY GOD RHINO NEARLY FELL IN OUR LAPS!

Hudson:  That is part of the danger of being at ringside Geno.

Tenay:  Welcome to the announce booth.

Bennett:  I sure in the hell didn't sign on for this, where is Flair, I want to read my contract again.

Tenay:  While Gene has fit over here, lets go to Mark Madden who is with The Hart Foundation.

Madden:  Bret, Jim, in a few minutes you will get another chance at being the WCW Tag team champions.

Bret:  Mark, tonight we get our hands on my dirty rotten brother Owen and that big goof Paul Wight.

Madden:  Don't forget, Demolition is in this match as well.

Neidhart:  We have defeated those two painted jackasses before and tonight we will do it again.  Tonight we get those belts.

Madden:  Lets now go to Pamela who is with Demolition.

Pam:  You just heard the comments from The Hart Foundation.

Smash:  Bret, Jim, you two feeling froggy or something?

Ax:  Listen up boys, those belts are coming around our wastes.

Smash:  And we are going to kick their stinking teeth down their throats!

Pam:  They mean business.

We then go somewhere in the building where the Ministry has gathered.

Taker:  Listen up my minions.  Tonight we are one for two, as Mikey here lost his match.

We see in the background that the Undertaker has whipped Mikey.

Taker:  Next we have our tag team champions defending their titles, and we want to make sure they keep their titles.

Hogan:  Don't worry about that, I can guarantee that they keep their titles tonight.

Taker:  For their sakes, AND yours I hope so.

We now go back to the broadcast booth.

Bennett:  I hate that piece of human waste Hogan.

Hudson:  Settle down their Gene, he could come out here and fire you.

Bennett:  If he comes out here I will give him---

Tenay:  Here comes the Hart Foundation, lets go to the ring.

Triangle Match:
The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) defeated Demolition and
The Hart Foundation:
         x O. Hart beat Neidhart via a belly-to-belly suplex in 0:08:39
x Wight beat Ax via the Showstopper in 0:12:24
Rating: ** 1/2
(The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) retained the WCW Tag Team Titles.)

This match saw three of our top teams here in WCW face off for the titles.  Demolition played it smart and stayed out of the ring during the early portion of this match allowing the Hart Foundation to take on Owen and Wight.  The first elimination came when Smash clubbed Neidhart in the back sending him right into a belly-to-belly suplex from Owen for the win.  The Ministry then got the pin over Demolition with help from the commissioner Hogan.  The ref went down and Demolition took over.  Demolition took Wight over the top and gave Owen the Demolition Decapitator.  Charles Robinson runs out to make the count but right behind him was the commissioner who pulled Charles out and knocked him out.  Hogan then came in and attacked Demolition, but they soon took over and were about to give Hogan the Decapitator when Wight came back in.  He attacked Smash sending him to the floor.  Ax tried to fight back but took the Showstopper and got pinned by the fastest count ever seen by Hollywood Hogan.

Bennett:  That makes me sick, Demolition had that match, I hate Hogan so damn much.

Hudson:  Well Gene, there isn't much we can do about it sitting here are ringside.  All we can do is hope that CEO Ric Flair can stop the Ministry and soon.

Tenay:  Well the next three matches could possibly put a dent in the Ministries armor.  The first being that casket match as Bill DeMott faces the Undertaker.

We see footage of Hugh Morrus injuring both Brian Christopher and Jeff Jarrett.  We then see the Undertaker order Morrus to do that to his friend Lash LeRoux.  Morrus refuses and gets attacked by the Ministry.  We then see footage of the interview on Thunder between Tenay and DeMott.  We then go to the ring.

Casket Match:
The Undertaker defeated Bill DeMott in 0:12:02.
Rating: ** 1/4

The Undertaker got the win in this match but it was hard fought.  DeMott didn't back down once from his former leader.  Early on the match stayed in the ring, but soon it spilled to the floor as both men tried to put the other into the casket.  DeMott put Taker into the casket and was about to close the lid when from the back out came Mortis.  Mortis attacked DeMott with his skull staff and continued the attack busting DeMott open.  Then from the back out came Steve Blackman armed with his kendo stick.  Blackman laid into Mortis and then gave Taker a shot as he got out of the casket.  Moments later The Undertaker gave DeMott a chokeslam off the apron into the casket.  Taker shut the lid and got the win.

Bennett:  Damn it.

Hudson:  Gene, you have to be impartial out here as an announcer, no matter how sick the wrestler is.

Tenay:  But we both agree with you Gene.

Hudson:  Up next is the Flaming Table Match.  Like Ric Flair said earlier, it was scheduled to be between Vampiro and Mike Awesome.

Bennett:  But one Thunder Awesome teamed with the Nature Boy to face Owen Hart and Paul Wight in a match that Hollywood Hogan made.  There was also a stipulation in the match that the loser of the fall would be fired.  Awesome tried to prove to Hogan that he was better the Hogan, but feel victim to Hart and Wight.

Tenay:  It was then announced that the winner of the match between Vader and Masato Tanaka would face Vampiro for the US title in the flaming table match, which Vader won.

Hudson:  We tried to move this match as late as possible.  I want to remind all of you parents out there that fire is involved.  Someone is going through a table that if burning.  This isn't going to be pretty.  Lets get to the ring.

Flaming Table Match for the vacant WCW United States Title:
Big Van Vader defeated Vampiro by putting him through a table in 0:14:32.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Big Van Vader won the WCW United States Title.)

As Vampiro came to the ring Vader attacked him from behind.  Vader has been a man possessed and it showed tonight.  Vamp quickly escaped to the floor and caught Vader coming out.  Vamp then went back in the ring and set up the table.  Vamp grabbed a chair and nailed Vader twice, but he just laughed at Vamp.  This brought out the Ministry.  The Ministry went to work on Vader while Vamp went under the ring and got out a can of gas.  He spilled it on the table and light the table.  Vamp set Vader up for the Nail in the Coffin but couldn't do it.  He then set up for a powerbomb with help from Gangrel and Papa Shango.  This brought out Bill DeMott, Steve Blackman, Demolition and Ray Traylor for the save.  The Ministry and Team WCW fought to the back leaving Vamp and Vader.  Vamp tried for the powerbomb, but Vader picked him up and gave him a version of a powerbomb.  He then hooked Vamp's legs and gave him a reverse powerbomb through the flaming table for the win.

Bennett:  That smell is the smell of human flesh burning guys.

Hudson:  I think I am going to be sick.

Tenay:  We knew it would be bad, but who thought that Vader would put Vamp face first into the fire like that?

Hudson:  EMT's have come out and put the fire out.  They are checking on Vamp, and he just gave one of them the Nail in the Coffin.  Look at this sicko folks.

Tenay:  Well we go from a sick match like that to one that will be a wrestling lesson.

Bennett:  These two guys have fought probably a hundred times.  Each time something new happens.

Hudson:  It has been Sting fighting against the Horsemen.  It has been Sting fighting against Flair for turning on him.  This time it is WCW against the Ministry.

Bennett:  Lets hope WCW comes out on top guys.

Tenay:  Lets get to the ring.

Ric Flair comes to the ring and grabs the mic.

Flair:  Listen up Ministry.  I just saw what you tried to do Vader and what you did to Demolition earlier.  I am going to make this ruling, if any member of the Ministry comes to ringside, they will be fired on the spot.  Not only will he be fired, but Sting will lose the match.  Sting, get your painted up ass down here.  WHOO!

Sting lowers from the ceiling and the match begins.

Sting pinned Ric Flair with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:12:47.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Sting won the WCW World Title.)

Two legends tore the ring up once again in the main event.  The match was awesome and anyone who says that Ric Flair can't go anymore is crazy.  The Nature Boy looked like he was twenty-five again.  Sting also had a fire under him in this match.  Wrestling each other brings out the best of the other.  Early on it was a technical match, exchanging wristlocks and armdrags.  After a few minutes of this Sting took the low road with a low blow.  Sting then went to work on Flair's knee.  Flair made a come back after Sting missed a Stinger Splash.  The end came when Ric Flair tried to lock in the Figure Four Leglock.  Sting kicked Flair off into the turnbuckle.  Flair stumbled backwards into the Scorpion Death Drop and the pinfall.

Bennett:  Damn it, damn it all to hell.

Hudson:  Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new world champion in Sting.

Tenay:  This is a dark day in WCW history folks, a dark day indeed.

Bennett:  Sting, you can go to hell and take the whole damn Ministry with you.

Hudson:  For Mean Gene, Pamela Paulshock, Mark Madden, Mike Tenay and Gene Bennett, I am Scott Hudson.  See you on Nitro.
