Sins are committed every day. The new Millennium is a chance for these sins to be cleared. Who will have their sins cleared, and who will sell their souls for a chance at the top? Find out tonight at WCW SIN! Fireworks go off as SIN comes on the air. We then go to the announce table where Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson sit. Hudson: Welcome everyone to SIN SUNDAY!! Tenay: With the New Year just hours away, we plan on bringing you the biggest and best in sports entertainment. Tonight in four men step in the ring and only one man walks out the champion. Hudson: Speaking of the championship, let's go back and see how Owen Hart became the World Champion. We go back to Thunder and see Masato Tanaka make the save for Owen who was under attack from both Jeff Jarrett and Mike Awesome. Tanaka sent Awesome to the floor and then hit the Roaring Elbow on Jarrett. He placed Owen on top of the then champion Jarrett and we have a new champion. Hudson: Owen realized his dream, but the question is did he sell his soul to get it? Only time will tell. Let's see what built up to our first match, a three-way dance between former friends.
We see footage of Rikishi's rage against the
American's and him forming the Foreign Connection. We then see
footage of Too Cool's break up and the brawls that the three have
had. We go to the ring where the three men are locking up.
No-Countout-No-DQ-3-Man Battle Royal: In a match up of former friends Scott Taylor made short work of Brian Christopher. As Brian came in Rikishi gave him a belly-to-belly setting up the Worm from Scott Taylor and the pinfall. Then it was two. Scott Taylor was sporting bad ribs because of the attack from Thursday night. Rikishi zeroed right in on those ribs hitting several backbreakers and avalanches. Scott came back after Rikishi missed a legdrop and hit the Worm, but Rikishi kicked out. Taylor then went to the top for a flying bodypress, but Rikishi countered into a powerslam for the win. Hudson: A great opening match up and a big win for the Connection Mike. Tenay: That's right Scott, and the Connection still had two big matches tonight. One of those matches are coming up right now. Hudson: That's right, the first ever Triple Threat Double Jeopardy match. Six teams in the ring at once and one team walks out with the gold.
We go to footage of the events leading up to this
match. We see the rampage that both Kronik and the team of Rhino and
Scott Steiner have been on. We see the brawls that took place
several times involving all six teams. We then go to the ring
where the match is taking place.
Triangle Match:
Both of these matches took place in the ring at
the same time, so it was very chaotic. The first elimination
was when William Regal locked in the Regal Stretch on General
Rection. This happened after Rhino missed a gore on Tony
Mamaluke and hit Rection setting the submission up. A few
minutes later after Scott Steiner hit a super belly-to-belly suplex,
Tony Mamaluke hit a picture perfect Guillotine Legdrop on D-Lo Brown
of Lo Down to eliminate him. Seconds later The Foreign
Connection defeated Kronik after Brian Adams submitted to the Regal
Stretch. This was while Clark and Wright fought on the floor.
This left Rhino and Scott Steiner fighting the F.B.I for a shot at
the gold. Big Sal tried to interfere but it backfired when he
hit Guido instead of Rhino with a chair. This allowed Rhino to
piledrive Guido and advance to the finals of this match.
The Foreign Connection (Alex Wright and William Regal) and In another ten minutes of hell, these two teams didn't settle anything. This was a tag team war that wasn't much of a match but really a fight. Early on Regal sent Steiner into the ropes and hit a European Uppercut that busted Steiner's lip open. Moments later Rhino gored Alex Wright in the corner causing him to spit up blood. The end came as the two teams just brawled on the floor using weapons of all kind, including chairs, the ringbell, Steiner's lead pipe and trash cans. Security ran down and separated the teams. We then go to the announce table. Hudson: Mike are you ok? Steiner really nailed you with Alex Wright. Tenay: Yeah, I think so. Someone needs to get that guy some counseling. Hudson: Up next we have the TV Title match, another Connection member. Tenay: What is interesting is that Lance Storm, a Canadian, is standing up for the rights of everyone, very unlike Storm.
We see footage of the attacks that Fit Finlay has
done to Storm over the past several weeks. We also see Finlay
hitting the tombstone on the pavement last Thursday knocking Storm out.
Lance Storm pinned Fit Finlay after a German suplex in 0:05:41. In a technical match up Storm picks up the win and the TV title after a German suplex. Early on Finlay focused on Storm's bad knee putting him into a leglock. Moments later Rikishi decided to show up at ringside. Finlay took advantage of this and tossed Storm to the floor. Rikishi was about to attack but Scott Taylor ran out and made the save. Storm hit a springboard dropkick followed by a savate kick on Finlay. Finlay came back and missed a wild right hand, Storm then hit the German suplex and got the win. Hudson: A NEW TV Champion has been crowned. Lance Storm wins the TV Title in a great match. Tenay: Scott, I understand Mark Madden is standing by with the Mamalukes and he is where??? We go to Mark Madden who is standing in a graveyard with the Mamalukes. Madden: I don't like this one bit Tenay, but I am here with the Mamalukes, guys why did you drag me here? Vito: Listen Fatty, don't get mouthy with me or I will knock your head off. Bull: Can I break his thumbs Vito? Vito: Nah, he ain't worth it. We are here because we are going to call that fat bastard Gangrel and that painted up pussy Papa Shango out here to the graveyard and have us a graveyard match. Bull: And I am going to break their thumbs. Vito: You can do more then that John, you can break their legs, backs and necks if you want. Madden: You know, you might be the two dumbest guys I know. Why in the HELL would you want to call these guys out here where they are at home? Vito: Because we have the biggest grapefruit in WCW and we don't sweat no one. But you want to say we are dumb, show him how dumb we are John. Johnny the Bull grabs Madden and throws him into an open grave. Madden: This isn't funny guys, get me the hell out of here. Vito: Hey Madden, get your fat ass out of this one. Lets get ready John. Back at the arena. Hudson: I have never seen Madden look as good as he did in that grave. Tenay: But what about the challenge from the Mamalukes? Do you think that is wise? Hudson: After what happened to Madden, I wouldn't argue with Vito and Johnny. Up next we have a submission match between two former friends.
We go to footage of Sting attacking Bret Hart
after his match with Owen Hart on the December 18th Nitro putting
Bret on the shelf. We then go to the ring where Bret is
awaiting Sting to lower from the rafters. Sting lowers and the
match is on.
Submission Match: The match began with Sting attacking Bret's back and knee's. He hit a backbreaker and then locked in a figure four early. Bret fought back however and locked Sting in a sleeper. The match continued to go back and forth until Sting sent Bret to the floor. On the floor Sting came a live. Sting hit a Stinger Splash against the guardrail and then the Scorpion Death Drop on the floor. Sting rolled Bret in and prepared to lock in the Scorpion Deathlock, but stopped. Sting then motioned for the harness to be lowered. It was and as Sting began to be raised up, The Undertaker appeared on the big screen. Taker: Sting, where are you going? You know the deal, you do what is expected of you or your family gets the long nap. Behind the Undertaker we see the Sinister Minister with to coffins on a forklift over a hole somewhere. Taker: DO IT STEVE OR YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN! Sting motions for them to lower him and he unhooks himself. The walks over to Bret, the whole time the Undertaker is laughing on the screen, and grabs Bret's legs. Sting goes for the Scorpion Deathlock, but Bret has recovered and reverses the move. Sting soon finds himself in the Sharpshooter. Sting tries to fight to the ropes, but finally taps out. The Undertaker by now has stopped laughing. Taker: That was very foolish Steve. Undertaker turns to The Sinister Minister and signals thumbs down. The forklift then drops the two caskets into the hole. Sting quickly rolls from the ring and to the back. Hudson: MY GOD! MY GOD THE UNDERTAKER IS BURYING STINGS FAMILY ALIVE! Tenay: THIS IS SICK! WAIT WE HAVE A CAMERA OUTSIDE. We go to the back where Sting pulls Just Joe out of a car and then steals it flying out of the arena. Hudson: Sting shouldn't have let it get this out of hand Mike. Tenay: This was out of hand from the start Scott. Lets hope Sting gets there before it gets worse and they fill that hole all the way in Scott.
A video of the problems between Spike Dudley and
Billy Kidman plays. We see Billy Kidman costing Spike the World
Title. We then see Spike and Kidman cost each other matches on
Thunder and the fight between the two. We then go to the ring.
Billy Kidman pinned Spike Dudley with the Kid Crusher in 0:07:29. As Kidman came out Spike attacked him. Spike nailed Kidman with a chair and threw him into the ring. Spike hit a dropkick and a lariat that sent Kidman back to the floor. Spike ran and went for a flying bodyblock, but Kidman moved and Spike hit the rail. We see on a split screen that a car has pulled up in the back and the Undertaker gets up. Behind him walks the Sinister Minister. Back in the arena Kidman has taken charge. Kidman hits a swinging bulldog for a near fall. Kidman then went for the Shooting Star Press, but Spike moved and Kidman landed hard. Spike picks him up and goes for the Acid Drop, but Kidman shoves him off into the turnbuckle. Kidman quickly hits the Kid Crusher for the win. We then go to the back where Mean Gene is with Chris Kanyon. Mean: Kanyon, we have just seen one of the sickest events I have ever witnessed as The Undertaker buried Sting's family. Kanyon: Gene, I don't even want to think about them being in those caskets. I am hoping that Taker was bluffing about that. Mean: What about the conditions that you and The Undertaker had planned out for this match? Kanyon: Well that is why I don't think they were in the casket Gene. It's simple, I know you Sinister Minister, and you will do whatever you have to get people to do what you want. You did that to Bryan Clark and I when we were the Oddities, and now you are doing it to Sting. Well I am not going back to that way of life or back on my word. Tonight I end your reign of terror Undertaker. Mean: He means business, back to you Scott. Hudson: Thanks Gene. We have seen Chris Kanyon and the Undertaker go at it several times in the past Mike. Tenay: The Undertaker has the singles victory, but Kanyon has the moral victory as he has been victorious in several tag and six man matches. The question is, how is what happened to Sting's family going to affect Kanyon?
Scott: We will find out in mere moments as
Kanyon is on his way to the ring.
The Undertaker pinned Chris Kanyon with the Last Rites in 0:12:50. The Undertaker and Kanyon locked up and Taker went on the offensive right away. Taker hit a scoop slam and then a huge legdrop. Taker then went for a chokeslam, but Kanyon hit a low blow followed by the Flatliner. Kanyon then went to the top and tried for a missile dropkick, but Taker pulled ref Charles Robinson in the way. With the ref down, Mikey Whipwreck and The Sinister Minister come out and attack Kanyon. This brings out Mikey's opponent for tonight, Booker T, and they fight to the back. Then from the back out runs Sting. Sting first hits the Minister in the head with his bat knocking him out. He then hits Taker in the midsection, follows it up with the Stinger Splash and then goes for the Scorpion Death Drop. However he drops Taker when he see's his wife and son running to the ring. They embrace while in the background Taker regains his feet. Sting embraces his family in the ring and his family whispers something to him. He looks confused, they shake their heads and then Sting does his. Sting goes over and helps Kanyon to his feet and the two shake hands. Sting then pulls Kanyon into a short lariat. Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop and leaves with his family. The Undertaker laughs and picks up Charles Robinson. Charles slumps into the corner but is up. Taker picks up Kanyon and gives him the Last Rites Powerbomb and gets the win. Then from the back out comes a bunch of druids. They pull Kanyon from the ring and carry him to the back. Hudson: What in the hell was that Mike? Tenay: I am not sure. But we have a camera outside right now. We see Kanyon being dumped into the drunk of a car. We see the driver is Sting and his family is in the car as well. The Undertaker then gets into the car and they leave together. Hudson: Are we seeing a giant setup? Tenay: I don't know if we are or not, but the Ministry isn't done yet, and who knows what else we will see from these sicko's. Hudson: We will be seeing Mikey Whipwreck in just a minute to face Booker T. We see footage of the feud between Booker T and Mikey Whipwreck since WCW re-debuted back in the end of November. We see first off Mikey and Booker working together only for Mikey to turn on Booker. The two have then been locked into a bitter feud. We then go to the back where Booker T is with Mean Gene. Mean: Booker, moments ago we saw Sting seemingly join the Ministry officially and Kanyon abducted. You could be facing the same fate in moments when you face Mikey Whipwreck. Booker: Gene, I saw what happened and it make me sick to my damn stomach. I just can't stand---
Suddenly Mike Whipwreck attacks Booker from behind
and the two men exchange rights and lefts and they brawl to the ring.
Mikey Whipwreck pinned Booker T with the Whippersnapper in 0:08:09. In the ring Booker took over with several kicks to the midsection and then a Harlem sidekick. Booker got a two count and then went to the top rope. He attempted a missile dropkick, but Mikey moved and Booker hit nothing but mat. Mikey then went after Booker's chronic knee problems by dropping several leg drops on the back of the knee. Mikey then went for a spinning toe hold, but Booker kicked him off. Booker then executed the spinnaroonie and then tried to hit the Book End. However the Minister jumped onto the apron distracting him. Booker knocks him off the apron, turns around right into the Whippersnapper though. Mikey makes the cover and the match is over. We then go to the graveyard once again and see that Mark Madden is out of the grave. Madden: That wasn't funny Vito. Vito: SHUT UP YOU FAT SON OF A BIT---
From behind Gangrel and Shango attack. We
see in the background that The Undertaker and the car containing
Kanyon is there as well.
Graveyard Match: The point of the match was for both members of the team to be shoved into the open grave that Madden was in earlier. Early on Gangrel was backdropped into the grave by Johnny the Bull. As Johnny and Vito worked on Shango, Gangrel climbed out and grabbed the shovel that was near the grave. He then attacked Johnny with it knocking him out. Vito was then worked over by both men and finally thrown into the grave, but he pulled Shango down with him. From the car out comes a druid who starts to help Gangrel pull a knocked out Johnny to the grave. As they near it the druid turns to Gangrel and kicks him in the midsection. He then hits a Whippersnapper type move on Gangrel knocking him into the grave giving the Mamalukes the win. The druid took off his mask and reviled that it was DISQO under it. DISQO then began to dance but Sting attacked him from behind. Sting then throws DISQO into the grave. Vito tries to climb out but gets hit in the head by a shovel. Sting helps Shango and Gangrel out and they leave the three men in the ring. We go back to the arena and the announce table. Hudson: What a brawl in the graveyard Mike. Tenay: That's true, but does this mean that DISQO is back in WCW? Hudson: Oh God I hope not, I hoped he would never return. Anyway, up next Hollywood Hogan's hand picked man, Paul Wight faces a man that Gene has picked. We go back to Nitro where Gene Bennett confronted Scott Steiner. We then see Hollywood distract Gene on the big screen allowing Wight to jump the barricade. Gene turns around right into the Big Show and takes a huge chokeslam. We then see Thunder where Barry Horowitz and Just Joe were sent to slaughter by Hogan. We see Show give both men the Show Stopper Chokeslam. We then see Gene appear on the big screen and tell Show that at Sin he would face his mystery man and that Hollywood's past would catch up with him. We then go to the ring. First we see Show and Hogan come to the ring. We then see Gene Bennett come out in a motorized wheelchair and a neckbrace on. Gene: Hogan, tonight is called SIN, and you will pay for yours. Do you remember 1995? Do you remember living if fear, not knowing when and where the attack would come from? There has only been two men that scared you and this man was one. The biggest and baddest in Andre the Giant has passed on, may he rest in piece, but this man scared you. You went and got your friend Paul Orndorff to attack him in the locker room, does this ring a bell? He was fired so that you could bring back Sting's friend Lex Luger. I give you the man that scared Hulk Hogan, and the man that scares everyone everywhere he goes, THE MAN THEY CALL VADER!!
The man they call Vader comes out with the helmet
and all. In the ring Hogan is going nuts about it. Vader
then charges the ring knocking both Show and Hogan down. Vader
then sets up Hogan for the Powerbomb, but Show breaks it up with the
Final Cut and the match officially begins.
Big Van Vader pinned Paul Wight with the Vader Bomb in 0:10:48. Show then went to work slamming Vader several times. Show then hit a huge elbow for a near fall. Show hit a big boot and then signalled to the crowd that he was going to hit the Hogan Legdrop. Show tried for it, but Vader moved. Vader then went on the offense attacking Show's body with a series of bodyshots. He then whipped Show into the corner and charged in with a huge Vader attack. Vader charged in and hit a second and lariated him to the mat. Vader went to the top and hit a moonsault, but Hogan pulls him out before the three count. On the outside Hogan and Vader exchange rights, and Vader gets the best of it and hit a lariat knocking Hogan down. Vader returns to the ring and gets caught in a chokehold. Show goes for the Chokeslam, but Vader pokes him in the eye. Vader then hits a lariat knocking Show into the corner and Vader again hits the Vader attack in the corner and a straight right hand knocks Show to the mat. Vader quickly goes to the middle rope, hits the Vader Bomb and gets the win. Hudson: What a pick for Gene in Vader Mike. Tenay: This is bad news for everyone in WCW now that Vader has returned, my question is will Gene be able to control the mastodon? Hudson: Only time will tell Mike. But we don't have to wait any longer to see the new WCW Champion Owen Hart defend against Masato Tanaka, Mike Awesome and the former champion Jeff Jarrett. We see footage of Mike Awesome and Jeff Jarrett teaming against several people. We also see Tanaka pin Jarrett in a tag team match. We also see Mike Awesome throw Masato Tanaka off the top of the Triple Cage. We see Owen Hart defeat Bret Hart to get this match, and then defeat Jarrett with help from Tanaka on Thunder. We then see Mean Gene with Owen. Mean: Owen Hart, in mere moments you will face three men for your world title. Owen: Mean Gene, I have beat the Chosen One, does that make me the Chosen one? Mean: I don't know. Owen: Gene, tonight I face three men that will go after me first. I know this. I have been told that I couldn't have beat Jarrett had Tanaka not come out, which is just crap. I AM THE KING OF HARTS! WHOO! Mean: Scott, back to you. Scott: Owen seems positive that he will retain his title.
Tenay: We will find out in just a second.
No-Countout-No-DQ Fatal Four way for the WCW World Title: The match starts as Awesome and Tanaka get in the ring. Soon we see that Jarrett and Owen are fighting in the back. Finally all four men are in the ring and we see that its Owen and Tanaka against Jarrett and Awesome. However, Tanaka proved that it is everyman for himself as he knocks Owen right into the Stroke from Jarrett with a Roaring Elbow. Jarrett made the cover and Owen, the champion, is the first man eliminated. This left what should have been Jarrett and Awesome against Tanaka, but Awesome had other plans. Awesome grabs Jarrett's guitar and smashes Jarrett with it. An Awesome bomb later and Jarrett is out. Moments later, Tanaka tried for Diamond Dust, but Awesome countered by throwing him off the top through a table. Awesome then rolls him in the ring, hits the Awesome Bomb and wins the title. Hudson: A new world champion is crowned just moments before the new year and the new Millennium. Tenay: What a show Scott to lead us into 2001. Hudson: For Mark Madden, Mean Gene and Mike Tenay, I am Scott Hudson, have a great new year! |
