Blood, Sweat and Tears have built both companies. Laziness and corruption nearly ended both. Now both companies are fighting against each other. Both companies are fighting for the same titles and mostly for respect. Tonight it will be a MASSACRE right here in NEW YORK CITY! RIGHT HERE ON MASSACRE ON 34th STREET! Massacre on 34th Street comes on the air. We see a split screen of both locker rooms. We then go to the back where the commissioner Dusty Rhodes is at his desk. Rhodes: Hello everyone. As commissioner it is my job to book the best show I can. So I have a change in tonight's format. We all know that tonight two of the most successful champions ever are facing off. Ric Flair is a 15 time Heavyweight Champion while Jerry Lawler claims to have 29 titles under his belt. Tonight I think it be best that we have an old fashion match for these legends. Tonight it will be a Texas Death Match between the men. I am also going to make the following announcement. All title matches will be fought under ECW rules, meaning NO RULES! Thank you and enjoy the show. We now go to the announce table where it is Joey Styles and Scott Hudson. Hudson: Welcome to Massacre on 34th Street! I am Scott Hudson and I am joined by Joey Styles. Styles: Scott, tonight we have ten big matches. Our broadcast partners Gene Bennett and Cyrus are also in action tonight against one another as they are in eight man tag team action. Hudson: What about the news from Dusty Rhodes that all title matches are now basically hardcore matches. That really opens to door. Styles: This is ECW now Scott, like it or not. That is how ECW does things. Hudson: Well up first it will be Curt Hennig and Arn Anderson taking on The Young Blood. This match is taking place after the Young Blood turned on Arn Anderson. Let's go to the ring. Styles: Let's not forget, they are the newest members of ECW. The Young Blood got a big win in this match up. The team of Arn and Curt had teamwork but the youth of the Young Blood was the difference. Hennig and JTB fought on the floor. Hennig tried to trip Knoble but missed and hit Arn. This momentary distraction gave Knoble time to hit the Jumping Tombstone and get the win.
The Young Blood defeated Curt Hennig and Arn Anderson
when Knoble pinned Anderson with the Jumping Tombstone Piledriver in 0:05:19. Styles: Looks like ECW draws first blood in the continuing war between ECW and WCW. Hudson: Let's go to the back right now Joey. Mike Tenay is with Disqo. Tenay: Disqo, you made your return on Thunder and attacked Little Guido. That is the man that put you on the shelf for several weeks. However now you will be facing not only Guido, but your friends Ray Traylor and Steve Blackman. Disqo: Well they have their own problems with Guido Mike. This is about respect. The injury was a wake up call for me. He made me realize that I don't have the respect that I deserve around here. They talk about how this company is now Hardcore. Well they are going to see Hardcore tonight. Tenay: Up next a fatal four way for the TV title. We have a new TV Champion as Steve Blackman became the champion with help from his trust Kendo stick. At first it was all three men from WCW were going after ECW's Little Guido. However Disqo was a little over zealous and that broke the match to hell. Blackman and Disqo fought to the floor while Traylor and Guido fought in the ring. Traylor went for the Traylor Park Trash but it was countered into a swinging DDT. Guido picked up a stunned Traylor and hit the Kiss of Death for the win. Guido then hit a plancha on both Disqo and Blackman. Guido then worked on both Disqo and Blackman. Guido went to work on Disqo which allowed Blackman to get his Kendo Stick. He swung a Guido, who was going for the Kiss of Death. Guido ducked and Blackman nailed Disqo. Blackman just shrugged and made the cover. Guido tried a flying elbow but Blackman moved. Moments later Guido took the Kendo Stick shot and we have a new TV Champion.
No-Countout-No-DQ-4-Man Battle Royal: Hudson: A NEW TV CHAMPION!! I don't believe it. Who would have thought that Steve Blackman would have got the win. Styles: Steve Blackman has always had it in him for the big win and this might finally ignite the career that everyone expected from him. Hudson: Right let's go to the back where Terry Taylor is with Too Cool, William Regal and Gene Bennett. T. Taylor: Gene, on Thunder this match was made. Gene, you are teaming with several superstars but are you ready to be in this match? Bennett: Terry, you know that I am trained wrestler. When WCW hired me it wasn't for my in ring abilities. It was because I am a damn good announcer. Now I have to deal with Cyrus, well I shut his damn mouth TONIGHT. Regal: Mr. Taylor, you see we are WCW through and through. We saved Mr. Bennett because he is WCW. Tonight we take out that group of ECW rejects and send them packing. Bennett: Terry, tonight WCW takes back our company. T.Taylor: Up next eight man tag team action. We then go to the ring where Cyrus is with his team of ECW stars. Cyrus: The NETWORK would like to welcome everyone tonight. Tonight the NETWORK along with these ECW stars drive yet another nail into the coffin of WCW becau-- Bennett: Excuse me, EXCUSE ME! We see Gene Bennett come out from behind the curtain dressed just like Cyrus, headset and all. Bennett: Cyrus, we at the NETWORK don't take kindly to your propaganda. Tonight, with the NETWORK'S blesses we are going to kick YOUR ASS!! Gene tears his headset off and runs to the ring with the WCW boys right behind him. ECW's team got the win in this one. On ECW's side Cyrus refused to tag in except when someone was down. Then he would only stay in for a few shots before tagging out. On the other side, WCW refused to tag in the weak link of Gene Bennett. Near the end the match exploded into an eight man brawl. In the ring Brian Christopher and William Regal were fighting C.W. Anderson and Big Vito. On the floor Gene ran Cyrus to the back while Scotty Taylor and Tony Mamaluke were fighting. In the ring Brian Christopher went to superkick C.W. but missed and hit Regal. Moments later Vito hit the Big Vito Special for the win.
Big Vito, Tony Mamaluke, C.W. Anderson and Cyrus
defeated Too Cool, Gene Bennett and William Regal when Vito pinned
Regal with the Big Vito Special in 0:10:38. Hudson: I can't believe that coward Cyrus just ran out of here. Styles: Wait a second Scott a cameraman has picked up on the chase. In the back we see Gene Bennett has Cyrus cornered. Bennett: Get up Cyrus. This is for everyone you have screwed over the years, ECW or WCW. Cyrus: Wait, before you do anything let me say something. WCW is dead and you are too. With that Rhino charges out of nowhere and gores Gene from the side. Rhino then locks in the Rhino Recliner. Gene's face turns a bright red and then his body goes limp. Cyrus: Just like that fat bastard Gertner. The NETWORK just taught you a lesson. Styles: ECW or not I hate that man. Hudson: How do you think we feel about him then. I understand that EMT's are already rushing to Gene. Let's go to the back where Mike Tenay is with one of the challengers for the Cruiserweight Championship, Lance Storm. Tenay: Lance, you are a man without a company basically. Storm: Mr. Tenay, that is right. I am a man without a company and without a friend right now. However after tonight I will be the Cruiserweight Champion. After tonight both Chris and my former partner Owen will know just why I was born to wrestle and bred to win. Tenay: Let's go to our next match, the Three Way Dance for the Cruiserweight championship. We have yet another new champion. Owen Hart eliminated both men. Both men were forced to tap out to the Sharpshooter. Early on in the match it seemed like once again it was Owen and Lance as a team as they worked over Candido. However Owen, being the sneaky guy he is tried to get a quick win on Storm. The match then went into a true three way dance. Candido was eliminated in the following fashion. Owen ducked a Lance Storm superkick and it hit Candido. Owen then hit a spinning heel kick on Storm and locked Candido into the Sharpshooter for the submission. It was then former tag team champions fighting for the title. Storm and Owen exchanged holds and counter to counter holds. The end came in a series of moves. Storm went for the Maple Leaf but Owen rolled through and locked in the Sharpshooter. Storm fought but after 45 seconds he passed out and we had a new champion.
No-Countout-No-DQ-3-Man Battle Royal: Hudson: Yet another win for WCW Joey. Styles: Well I think ECW made one mistake, we backed you and WCW into a corner. Like anyone they are fighting the hardest when they have nothing to lose. Hudson: Right now we have what is now a Texas Death Match as Ric Flair takes on Jerry Lawler. Jerry Lawler got a huge victory here and really dominated Flair for about the last six minutes. Early on Flair was in control as he went to work on Lawler's knee. Flair locked the Figure Four in. Lawler finally pulled himself to the ropes. Lawler and Flair then went back and forth. Finally Lawler hit his piledriver out of nowhere for the first fall. Ric Flair, who has a history of an injured back and neck was done after just one piledriver. Lawler then worked on Flair's neck before finishing him off with two more piledriver's within a minute.
Texas Death Match: Hudson: I can't believe that Ric was just dominated like that. Flair didn't even get a fall in on Lawler. Styles: Well I think Jerry proved his point here tonight. Perhaps it is time for people to pay attention to him. He has more titles then Flair and yet no one thought of him as more then a screaming announcer. Hudson: Joey, you might be right. Let's go to the back to Mike Tenay who is with the Undertaker and Vampiro. Tenay: Undertaker, Vampiro, you two are going into a very dangerous match in mere moments. UT: Tenay, this is more then dangerous, it could be career ending. Vamp: I have played this game before. So has Balls Mahoney. This man here is the most evil man EVER in this sport. UT: I have done things that most people can only dream about. I have beat every superstar EVER in this sport. I have a decade of destruction under my belt and those two ECW rejects will find that out. Tenay: Up next a flaming tables match. Mikey and Balls picked up the win here in this brawl. This match went all over the building and the end came in the parking lot. The teams fought to the back with WCW's team in charge. Once in the back however ECW attacked. The Dudley Boys attacked The Undertaker and put him through a table with 3D. This left Vampiro fighting both men. Vamp took out Balls with the Nail in the Coffin. Mikey tried to run and went to the top of on of the WCW semi's. Vampiro followed him up. On the floor a groggy Balls set up a table and lit it on fire. Vamp went for the Nail in the Coffin but Mikey flipped over and hit a low blow. Mikey then threw Vamp off through the table for the win.
Mikey Whipwreck and Balls Mahoney defeated The Undertaker and Vampiro
in a Flaming Table Match in 0:10:29. Hudson: OH MY GOD!!! Styles: Hey, that is my line but I agree Scott. Vampiro has to be hurt after that. Hudson: No kidding Joey. It might not have gone down that way had the Dudley's not interfered. That makes me sick to my damn stomach. Up next it will be the fatal four way for the Tag Team Titles. The new tag team champions are Bill DeMott and Scott Steiner. They dominated most of the match. It was all about respect and revenge for those men. Early on it was the Jersey Boys and the Dudley's. During a four team brawl the Undertaker came out and chokeslammed both the Dudley's for their interference. Moments later Kanyon hit a facebuster vertical suplex for the elimination. This left two WCW teams and the team of Doring and Roadkill. Doring and Roadkill refused to tag and made the WCW teams fight. They didn't have a problem and soon it was Kanyon in the Steiner Recliner and the Jersey Boys were eliminated. Doring and Roadkill attacked the final WCW team from behind. Roadkill went for the Amish Splash but DeMott moved. Moments later DeMott won the tag team titles with a powerslam.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Four Corners Match: Styles: New champions crowned, but not without some help Scott. Hudson: Joey, you are right there was some help there. But it was those Damn Dudley's fault for interfering in the Undertaker's match. Styles: Two wrongs don't make a right Scott. Let's go to the back where Terry Taylor is with Booker T. Taylor: Booker, you are facing the man beast here tonight for the ECW Hardcore Title. Booker: Here is how I look at it Terry. I am from 110th Street in Harlem. I know how to fight. My brother and I used to do just that fight. Rhino is from the so called mean streets of Detroit. Well he doesn't know what mean streets are all about until he spends a few days in Harlem. Tonight we are going to bring just one more title to WCW. Don't hate the player Terry, HATE THE GAME!! Taylor: Up next the Hardcore Title match. Rhino retained the Hardcore title in a hard fought match. Early in Rhino was dominated by Booker. Booker got several near falls with the Harlem Sidekick and his scissor kick. However Rhino came back with a huge Gore. Booker however came back after Rhino missed a gore in the corner and went through a table. Booker went for the Book End but Rhino wasn't out yet. Rhino countered into a Torture Rack. Booker tried to fight but finally Nick Patrick called for the bell.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Hudson: A huge win for ECW and Rhino as he took out the former World Champion Booker T. Styles: I have to say that is a shock to me Scott. Rhino is one hell of an athlete but Booker had the experience and really was the favorite to win. Hudson: We are down to two matches. The top to titles in the World are on the line. First it will be the battle for the Franchise name and the US Title as Sting takes on Shane Douglas. Then Spike Dudley defends the World Title against Jeff Jarrett. Styles: Right now Sting and Jeff Jarrett are standing by. Tenay: Sting and Jeff Jarrett, tonight is possibly the biggest night of your careers. Now both of you have been the WCW World Champion but tonight is about more then titles. Sting: Damn right it is Mike. This is about pride, WCW pride. Tonight we bring those titles BACK to WCW. Tonight I show Shane Douglas who the true Franchise is. Jarrett: Hello Slapass. That is what I am going to be saying to that runt Spike tonight. That title belongs to WCW. That title belongs to me. It has been too long since I have had that title. Tonight that slapass learns not to mess with WCW or Jeff Jarrett. Choke on that slapass. Tenay: Let's go to the ring. We go to the ring where Shane Douglas has the mic. Douglas: SHUT THE HELL UP! Sting, I heard you back there running your damn mouth. You say you are the Franchise huh? I DON'T THINK SO! Tonight prepare to get your ass FRANCHISED! THAT'S A FACT, THAT'S A FACT, THAT'S A FACT JACKASS! Despite what Shane had to say we have a new US Champion in Sting. Douglas really didn't fair well at all. Sting was fired up. Chris Candido made an appearance with Tammy but that didn't help as Candido took a Scorpion Death Drop and Tammy was locked in to the Scorpion Death Lock. However this allowed Douglas to hit the Franchiser for a near fall. Moments later however Sting hit the Stinger Splash followed by the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Hudson: A new US Champion, the championships are coming back to WCW Joey. Styles: Scott you are right there. Except for the Hardcore Title ECW has come up short. ECW has not looked good tonight. Hopefully the World Champion Spike can do better then everyone else. Hudson: Speaking of Spike he is standing by with Cyrus. Cyrus: The time is now Spike. Moments from now it is you and Jeff Jarrett for that ECW title. Spike: Cyrus, tonight I win this for ECW and the NETWORK. Cyrus: You will fight Spike and you will win FOR THE NETWORK! Let's get to the ring and watch as WCW fails to win the big one like usual. Like the rest of the night a new champion was crowned in Jeff Jarrett. This match went back and forth with Spike seemingly ready to win. Jarrett however wouldn't go down. He continued to fight back. Spike went for the Acid Drop but Jarrett tossed him off into the ref. With the ref down Jarrett grabbed his trusty guitar and hit Spike. The official then made the slow three count and we had a new champion.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Hudson: NEW WORLD CHAMPION!! Styles: Well thanks to Dusty Rhodes this was a no DQ match so ECW can't complain about that. Hudson: Wait a second here comes Rhino! Rhino charges the ring. Jarrett turns right into the Gore. We go off the air with Rhino holding his Hardcore title and Jarrett's World Title over a fallen Jeff Jarrett. |
