Thunder comes on the air with footage from the main event of Nitro.  We see Jerry Lawler pick up the win on Jeff Jarrett.  We then hear the voice of Cyrus announce Jerry Lawler as the World Champion.  We then go to the arena where Jerry Lawler is coming to the ring. Ring Announcer:  Ladies and Gentlemen, JERRY THE KING LAW---- Lawler:  Give me that you hack.  Let me do this.  Ladies and Gentlemen, from Memphis Tennessee, THE WORLD CHAMPION, JERRY THE KING LAWLER!  That is right folks--- Lawler takes off his robe and we see him wearing the World Championship.  Lawler:  I am your World Champion.  That gives me just one more on The Nature Boy.  Jeff Jarrett's music plays as he comes out. Jarrett:  Hold it right there slappy.  You know I remember back when we were in Memphis together, do you remember that?  All those titles you claim you won.  Well I remember how you won those titles.  We were told if we wanted to keep a job we were to do the job.  Well this ain't Memphis and I ain't do the job to you. Lawler:  Well I tell you what boy.  You remember who gave you your first job after you daddy?  It was me.  Tonight I teach you something I didn't back then.  I am going to teach you respect. Jarrett:  Respect this slapass! Jarrett flips Lawler off and charges the ring. Lawler and Jarrett brawled most of the match.  A lot of fists and kicks.  Lawler took it to the outside and slammed Jarrett twice on the floor.  He then went for the Piledriver on the floor when Ric Flair jumped the barrier.  Lawler quickly retreated into the ring.  Flair tried to get into the ring but the official held him back.  Lawler went into his trunks, pulled out a pair of knuckle dusters, and knocked Jarrett out with them.  The official turned around and we have a new Champion. Jerry Lawler defeated Jeff Jarrett by pinfall in 0:07:52. Rating: * 3/4 (Jerry Lawler won the World Title.) Styles:  A NEW WORLD CHAMPION!! Madden:  I don't believe it!  Wait a second, Ric Flair is in the ring. Flair backs Charles Robinson into the corner and makes him watch the replay on Thundervision.  Robinson watches the shot from the knuckles and slides to the floor.  He talks to the ring announcer. Ring Announcer:  Ladies and Gentlemen, the official has reversed his decision.  The winner of this match and STILL World Champion Jeff Jarrett. Jeff Jarrett defeated Jerry Lawler by disqualification in 0:07:52. Rating: * 3/4 (Jeff Jarrett retained the World Title.) Styles:  I hate to say it, but that is the right call.   Hudson:  We are about to get more then just the right call. In the ring Lawler and Robinson are fighting over the title belt.  Jarrett grabs his guitar and nails Lawler.  He picks up his belt to the roar of the crowd.  Flair raises Jarrett's hand and the two stand in center ring when from the back out runs Rhino.  Rhino gores both men.  He picks up Jarrett and gives him a powerbomb before leaving the ring with the World title. Styles:  Welcome to Thunder everyone.  I am here with Mark Madden. Madden:  Joey let me say something.  Last week I was attacked by that man Rhino.  Now this is not a threat but if this company can't control their wrestlers I will be forced to take legal actions. Styles:  With that said lets look at what we have for you tonight.  Lance Storm will defend his newly won Cruiserweight Title against Mikey Whipwreck.  Also Disqo and Curt Hennig take on the Young Blood. Madden:  The Jersey Boys, fresh off a big win over the Dudley's, take on ECW's own Chris Candido and Little Guido.  Also C.W. Anderson defends the TV title against William Regal.  All that and much more.  When we come back it will be Danny Doring and Roadkill taking on former TV Champion Steve Blackman and Ray Traylor. Danny Doring and Roadkill got the win in quick fashion.  It was what happened after the match that is important.  After the match Armageddon hit the ring.  The Undertaker and Paul Wight went after Doring and Roadkill giving them simultaneous chokeslams.  They then went after Blackman and Traylor.  Blackman took the Last Ride while Traylor took the Final Cut from Wight.  Taker then took the mic. Danny Doring and Roadkill defeated Ray Traylor and Steve Blackman when Doring pinned Traylor after the Buggy Bag in 0:03:36. Rating: 1/4* Taker:  Dudley Boys, you think that little runt brother of yours can take care of me?  You think this is over between us?  Wight tries to say something but The Undertaker walks away. Taker:  Come Monday night you boys are going to find out what Armageddon is all about. Wight again tried to talk but Taker threw the mic to the ring announcer and motioned for Wight to follow him.  He does with an upset look on his face.  We then go to the back where Shane Douglas and Chris Candido are talking to C.W. Anderson. Douglas:  Listen, tonight is our night.  Paul has given Chris duty to take out the Jersey Boys.  But tonight you do some Triple Threat business.  On Nitro he insulted this piece of heaven Tammy.  Now tonight I want you to do what you Andersons do best, take him out. C.W.:  You got it Shane.  I will do it because I am an ANDERSON! We go to break with C.W. doing the Anderson thumb across the throat motion. We have a new TV Champion in William Regal.  It was a short match thanks to interference from Shane.  Shane came down early and tried to hit Regal but he moved and he hit C.W.  Moments later Regal hit the Cobra Neckbreaker for the win.  William Regal pinned C.W. Anderson with the Cobra Neckbreaker in 0:03:24. Rating: * (William Regal won the TV Title.) Styles:  The TV Title sure is changing hands quickly this week.  Three champions since Sunday night. Madden:  Well there are so many great athletes here in WCW--- Styles:  ECW Mark. Madden:  ECW, that anyone can beat anyone on any given day. Styles:  Let's go to the back to the ECW locker room. In the locker room we see The Dudley's talking. Buh Buh:  What in the hell is his problem?   D-Von:  Like the rest of ECW he is afraid of us so he attacks us from behind.  We already beat everyone else in ECW so him and that big goof are on Monday. Spike:  Guys did you see that Lash is back?  I can't believe he would show his face after the beating we gave him. Buh Buh:  Hey how about a warm up tonight. D-Von:  What are you talking about? Buh Buh:  Tonight those Misfits Lash and Bill can team with Steiner against us. D-Von:  OH BUH BUH TESTIFY!! After the break we see ECW taking on the Jersey Boys.  ECW got the win in a very sound match.  Early on the Jersey Boys were in charge and used their tag team skills to remain in control.  However Candido made a quick tag and the match broke down.  During the match Page was sprayed in the eyes by Tammy.  Kanyon backed into him and Page gave him the Diamond Cutter.  Moments later he was hit with the Kiss of Death for the pinfall. Little Guido Maritato and Chris Candido defeated The Jersey Boys when L. Guido pinned Page with the Kiss of Death in 0:09:04. Rating: ** 1/4 Styles:  A win there for the inexperienced team of Little Guido and Chris Candido. Madden:  DDME just screwed up again.  If I was Kanyon I wouldn't have even bothered teaming with him.  Kanyon is too talented to be stuck with that ego maniac. Styles:  Let's go to the back where Mike Tenay is with Curt Hennig and Disqo.  Tenay:  Curt, you are teaming with Disqo after the Young Blood ended up costing you a match with this man right here.  So my question is why team with him? Hennig:  Mike, people don't know this but Arn is currently dealing with a serious neck injury.  So I can't have him come to help me teach these young pups a lesson.  So instead it is this man Disqo. Disqo:  Mike, on Nitro I did what I have been trying to do, earned a little respect.  It wasn't in the ring but in the back.  I went up to Curt here and told him flat out that I didn't want the win.  So we decided to get a win here tonight. Hennig:  Tonight will be absolutely-----PERFECT! Tenay:  Up next tag team action. The Young Blood get another win as Hennig and Disqo came up short.  The match was short, but JTB was the star.  JTB stayed in the ring for his team the entire time.  The end came when JTB and Knoble hit the Too Young to Die double team move.  Knoble hits a backbreaker and held Disqo on his knee while JTB hit a picture perfect Flying Legdrop but first he ran up the turnbuckles and spun in midair like a cruiserweight.  Knoble then hit a flying forearm knocking Hennig off while JTB for the win. The Young Blood defeated Curt Hennig and Disqo when Johnny the Bull pinned Disqo after the Too Young to Die in 0:04:47. Rating: ** Madden:  Once again Disqo blows it.  Hennig blew it as well, but only by teaming with old bugle beak. Styles:  Well the way Johnny was tonight I don't know if anyone could have stood up to him.  When we come back six man tag team action.  But first I understand Terry Taylor has caught up with Ric Flair. Taylor:  Ric, Ric can I get a word with you? Flair:  Terry, what do you want? Taylor:  I was wondering if you were going to let Rhino's attack earlier go unanswered. Flair:  Terry, you wrestled me before.  You know what I did in that match and I wasn't even mad.  They don't call me the dirtiest player in the game for no reason.  Tonight Rhino it is going to be you and me in a Hardcore---- From nowhere Rhino gores Flair through a closet door.    Terry Taylor goes scrambling dropping the mic.  We then see Cyrus walk into the shot. Cyrus:  Hey Ric----WHOO----tonight we end your career.  One by one we are going to take out you and your WCW followers.  Tonight you are going to get one more GORE! We go to break with a shot of Flair laying on top of the door holding his ribs. After the break we see Ric Flair in the trainer Michael Martins room. Martin:  Listen Ric, you can't go tonight.  You have at least bruised ribs.  After some x-rays we will know if they are broken. Flair:  Mike, you are going to clear me for two reasons.  One being you are WCW and know that I can bring that title back to WCW.  Second being that if you don't I am going to beat you within an inch of your life. Martin:  Ok Ric, but you will have to sign a release saying that it is out of WCW's hands. Flair:  Get me the form. Martin turns toward the counter.  We then go to the ring where The Dudley's are waiting for the Misfits and Scott Steiner. The tag team champions and Lash LeRoux got a win over the Dudley's after interference from Wight and Taker.  Early on The Dudley's dominated on Lash keeping him down.  A hot tag to DeMott turned everything around.  During the brawl Wight and Taker pulled D-Von from the ring.  They gave him the Double Chokeslam to Hell on the floor.  Wight went to pick him up but Taker pulled him off.  Wight shot him a dirty look but went along to the back.  In the ring Lash took Spike to the floor with a flying bodyblock.  In the ring Steiner hit a Super Frankensteiner on Buh Buh followed by DeMott's moonsault for the win. Misfits (Bill DeMott and Lash LeRoux) and Scott Steiner defeated The Dudley Boys and Spike Dudley when DeMott pinned Buh Buh Ray after The Moonsault in 0:10:16. Rating: ** Styles:  Are the Undertaker and Big Show digging there own graves by attacking the Dudley Boys Mark? Madden:  Joey, it is hard to tell with those men.  They are so big but then again so are the Dudley's.  I think that will be a real fight on Nitro. Styles:  Speaking of a fight up next it will be Lance Storm defending his Cruiserweight title against former US Champion Mikey Whipwreck. Lance Storm retained his newly won Cruiserweight title against a maniacal Mikey Whipwreck.  Early on it was back and forth action with Storm getting the better of it.  That is when Mikey hit a low blow.  Mikey went for the Whippersnapper but Storm shoved him into the corner.  Mikey stumbled into the Maple Leaf for the win.  After the match Mikey attacked Storm but was backdropped to the apron.  Mikey then took a superkick knocking him for a loop off the apron to the floor. Lance Storm made Mikey Whipwreck submit to the Maple Leaf in 0:10:41. Rating: *** 1/2 (Lance Storm retained the Cruiserweight Title.) Styles:  OH MY GOD!!!  Lance just killed Mikey! Madden:  He is ECW and everything but lets get someone down here now. Trainer Michael Martin rushed down and along with official H.C. Loc they help Mikey to the back who looks to be completely out of it. Styles:  Lets hope Mikey is alright.  When we come back it will be Ric Flair and Rhino for the Hardcore Title. As we go to break we see Ric Flair coming to the ring.   He stops and starts to cough.  He then spits out some blood and continues to the ring. Ric Flair really got the hell out of him.  He however would say down.  Throughout the match it seemed that Flair was beat but wouldn't stay down.  He took three gores throughout the match.  Flair did get some offense in as he worked on Rhino after a low blow.  However as they fought to the back the King attacked Flair giving him the Piledriver on the floor.  Rhino then locked in the Rhino Recliner. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Rhino made Ric Flair submit to the Rhino Recliner in 0:12:57. Rating: *** 1/2 (Rhino retained the Hardcore Title.) Styles:  Get Rhino of Flair now.  He is hurt.  He hasn't moved since that piledriver Mark. Madden:  This makes me sick.  Here comes WCW! We see the WCW locker room come out with ECW right behind them.  We go off the air with a huge brawl.
