Thunder comes on the air with footage from the main event on Nitro.  We see Lance Storm accidentally superkick a chair into Owens face setting up the win for the Dudley's.  We then go to the back where Owen is arrive at the building.  We see Lance Storm come out. Owen:  Get away from me Lance. Storm:  Listen Owen, it was an accident.  I didn't mean to kick you, you know that. Owen:  I don't know anything Lance.  For now on I am on my own.  Just like when my family left me high and dry in the WWF.  Tonight the Black Hart returns. Owen shoves past Lance and we go to the announce table where Mike Tenay is with Mark Madden.  Tenay:  Welcome to Thunder everyone.  What a week it has been here in WCW. Madden:  Mike, this is insane.  We are being taken over by EC---- Suddenly the ECW theme plays as Paul Heyman comes to the ring. Heyman:  Shut the hell up you fat bastard Madden.  Tonight we find out who in WCW will be the number one contender.  Tonight I am going to put all 24 of the so called WCW superstars in the ring and the last man standing will take a beating at the hands of Spike Dudley on August 26th at Massacre on 34th Street.  Also tonight I am going to introduce you to the newest WCW announcer, Cyrus! Cyrus comes to the announce booth. Cyrus:  Welcome everyone to ECW THUNDER!  I am Cyrus working along side Mike Tenay and the worlds fattest man Mark Madden. Madden:  Hey, watch it. Cyrus:  Are you talking back?  We at the NETWORK don't like announcers that talk back. Tenay:  Great, now we have to hear about the network all the time.  Lets get to the--- Cyrus:  Hey, I am the head announcer here.  Lets get to the ring where the ECW TV champion will be taking Ray Traylor. Little Guido retained his title with the Kiss of Death.  Early on Traylor used his size to take control but Guido's speed helped him take back over.  It seemed like Traylor was about to hit the Traylor Park Trash but Guido countered with a swinging DDT and then hit the Kiss of Death for the win.  After the match Guido was about to lock in the Ankle lock, much like he did on Nitro to Disqo, but Booker T, Sting and Scott Steiner made their return.  Sting hit Stinger Splash, Booker hit the Harlem Sidekick and Steiner then gave Guido a belly to belly over the top rope. Little Guido Maritato pinned Ray Traylor with the Kiss of Death in 0:06:16. Rating: ** 1/2 (Little Guido Maritato retained the ECW TV Title.) Madden:  I never thought I would be happy to see those three but HELL YEAH! Cyrus:  Well the NETWORK will have to have a meeting with that official Charles Robinson.  Tenay:  Steiner has the mic, this could be bad. Steiner:  HEYMAN, get your fat ass out here NOW! Instead of Paul they get the commissioner Dusty Rhodes. Dusty:  You three are suspended as of right now. Steiner:  If you suspend us there is nothing stopping us from kicking the hell out of your old fat ass.  Dusty:  Ok, well I am a fair man.  Tonight Scotty you are going to team with Booker T.  You will be facing the US Champion Shane Douglas and the Hardcore Champion Rhino.  If you win you are in the battle royal and get to stay in WCW.  If you lose, well this will be the last time we see you.  As for you Sting.  You are going to team with two old friends, Vampiro and the Undertaker.  You will be facing The Dudley Boys.  Same rule applies to you Sting, I hope you and your friends can keep it together.  Now if you three don't get out of MY ring your asses will be fired without me being nice. Cyrus:  What a night this is going to be for ECW, three of WCW's greatest go down tonight. Madden:  And when we come back Lash LeRoux and Scott Taylor take on Danny Doring and Roadkill. ECW got a win with help from an unlikely source in Lance Storm.  During the match ECW's Chris Candido came to ringside along with his lovely valet Tammy.  This of course distracted Taylor and LeRoux.  Tammy distracted official Nick Patrick allowing Candido to hit Lash with a sitout piledriver.  This brought out Lance Storm who attacked Candido knocking him to the floor.  Lance and Lash then double teamed Roadkill.  A groggy Taylor got up and backed into Storm who out of instinct gave him a DDT.  Lash saw this and attack Lance and the two brawled to the floor.  In the ring Taylor got hit with the Buggy Bag and got pinned. Danny Doring and Roadkill defeated Lash LeRoux and Scott Taylor when Doring pinned Taylor after the Buggy Bag in 0:10:26. Rating: ** Cyrus:  I knew Lance would do the right thing.  We are both Canadian you know.  Tenay:  On Nitro I thought it was a mistake but now I don't know Mark. Madden:  I just don't want to believe it.  Wait a minute, here comes Bill DeMott. DeMott hits the ringside area and pulls Lash and Lance apart.  We go to break with the three men arguing.  After the break we are in the locker room where the Misfits are with Lance Storm.  Lash:  I am telling you he is crocked Bill.  You saw him DDT Scotty.   DeMott:  Lash, Lance came out to help you.  He has been in WCW for some time he wouldn't turn on us. Taylor:  Well that DDT sure did feel real enough Bill. Lance:  Bill, thanks for sticking up for me but you don't have to.  I will let my actions speak for me.  You two are wrong about me. Storm leaves the room while the Misfits watch on.  We then go to the ring where C.W. is facing off with Curt Hennig. C.W. picked up a big win over Hennig.  This match went back and forth.  Hennig looked to be at his best in sometime.  Hennig hit his standing dropkick and his running necksnap.  C.W. however countered the Hennig Plex with a snap suplex.  He then hit a superkick followed by the Spinebuster for the win. C.W. Anderson pinned Curt Hennig with the Spinebuster Slam in 0:05:19. Rating: * 1/4 Cyrus:  Another big win for ECW.  With the addition of Lance Storm here tonight ECW is on a roll. Tenay:  Cyrus, I am still not sure that Lance is joining ECW.  He seemed pretty upset that the Misfits were accusing him of joining you guys. Cyrus:  Just another great Canadian actor. You know Mike Myers is Canadian. Madden:  Cyrus, you make me ashamed to admit I am Canadian.  Let's go to the back where Gene Bennett is standing by with the Cruiserweight Champion Chris Candido and the lovely Tammy. Bennett:  Chris, how are you feeling after Lance kicked your ass a few minutes ago? Candido:  I let him do that so he could attack those Misfits you jackass.  He is and always has been ECW. Bennett:  Well you might be nothing after tonight.  You are stepping out of your weight class to take on a fired up young man in Johnny the Bull. Candido:  Well that green rookie won't be much of a challenge, just like everyone for this title.  I won't lose this title ever. Bennett:  Hey Chris, before you leave I want to ask you something. Candido:  What is it? Bennett:  What corner in New York did you pick this slut up at anyway? Candido nails Bennett with a right hand. Tammy:  Next time I will kick your ass punk. Bennett just smiles as we go to break. Candido picked up the win but not without some strange things happening.  Early on JTB was a house of fire, but like most became a victim of Tammy's charms.  This allowed Candido to recover.  Then from the back out ran Gene Bennett.  First he pulled Tammy off the apron.  He then jumped on the apron distracting Candido.  JTB tried to attack Candido from behind but Candido moved and JTB hit Gene.  Gene flew off and landed on Tammy.  Candido hit JTB with a sitout piledriver and then the Flying Headbutt for the win. Non-Title-Match: Chris Candido pinned Johnny the Bull with the Flying Headbutt in 0:08:57. Rating: ** Cyrus:  I can't believe that hooligan Gene Bennett would put his hands on a lovely young lady like Tammy.  Does he know that the NETWORK won't put up for violence against women? Tenay:  Just what network is that Cyrus?   Madden:  Wait a second Mike.  I am going to agree with Cyrus, there isn't a reason to ever strike a woman and Gene was wrong.  Tenay:  Mark? Madden:  He should have knocked the slut into next week! Cyrus:  Keep it up Madden and I will have you washing my car.  After the break the last appearances of Booker T and Scott Steiner.  Scott Steiner and Booker T picked up the win and got to keep their WCW contracts much to the dismay of ECW.  This match was short but hard hitting.  The official was none other then ECW's own H.C. Loc.  Steiner and Shane Douglas brawled on the floor while Booker T and Rhino were in the ring.  Rhino went for the Gore but Booker moved and Rhino hit the post.  Booker then hit the scissor kick.  On the floor Steiner gave Douglas a belly to belly.  In the ring Loc counted to two but wouldn't make the three count.  That is until Steiner rolled in and threatened him.  Loc then reluctantly made the three count. Scott Steiner and Booker T defeated Rhino and Shane Douglas when Booker T pinned Rhino after a scissor kick in 0:05:57. Rating: ** 1/4 Cyrus:  What the hell?  He put his hands on an official.  That isn't legal and he will hear from the NETWORK. Tenay:  Cyrus, you aren't familiar with Scott Steiner, but let me tell you something.  No one tells him what to do.  If you try Cyrus he will take that headset that isn't plugged into anything and plug it into your ass! Cyrus:  Well the NETWORK doesn't approve of that kind of language Mr. Tenay.  You may soon be replaced.  We then go to the back where Sting walks into a locker room.  In the locker room sits The Undertaker. Sting:  Listen here Dead Man.  We don't like each other.  I haven't forgot what you did to me a few months ago making me do your bidding and kidnapping my family.  But this is bigger then us.  This is for WCW.  UT:  Sting, I agree.  After we get rid of ECW we can finish what we started. The lights start to flash and then go out.  When the come back up Vampiro is sitting on top of the lockers. Vamp:  Sting do you remember when I lit you on fire?  Taker, do you remember just last week in the graveyard?  Well that will be nothing compared to what we do to ECW.  Sting:  Guys----IT'S SHOWTIME! We go to break with the three men leaving the locker room. The WCW Team picked up a big win over the Dudley's.  Early on the team work wasn't great between the WCW team as they still didn't trust each other.  However once the match got underway they gelled well.  Vampiro nearly got the win over Spike when he hit a flying splash.  Vampiro however was then double and triple teamed.  The end came when Vamp made the hot tag to Sting.  Vamp, Taker, Buh Buh and D-Von brawled on the floor while Spike and Sting fought in the ring.  Spike went for the Acid Drop but Sting threw him off.  Sting then whipped Spike into the corner, hit the Stinger Splash and followed it up with the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. Vampiro, Sting and The Undertaker defeated The Dudley Boys and Spike Dudley when Sting pinned Spike Dudley with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:13:07. Rating: ** 3/4 Cyrus:  DAMN IT!  How can this be possible?  We had them and they blew it. Madden:  I never thought I would cheer for Sting, but WAY TO GO! Tenay:  Looks like no one in WCW is going anywhere.  Up next our main event.  Tonight we find out who gets to face and kill Lil' Spike Dudley at Massacre on 34th Street. Jeff Jarrett, after coming just short on Nitro will go to the pay per view to face Spike Dudley.  The Undertaker was the MVP so to speak as he threw out five different wrestlers.  Booker T was also a house of fire and threw out both Curt Hennig and Lance Storm within two seconds.  The final four were Bill DeMott, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner and the Undertaker.  Jeff Jarrett worked on DeMott while Steiner worked on the Dead Man.  Jarrett eliminated DeMott at almost the same time the Undertaker was eliminated by Steiner.  Jarrett and Steiner then fought.  Jarrett dropped Steiner on the top rope from a suplex position.  He then dropkicked Steiner to the floor.
