Nitro comes on the air with footage from the end of Thunder.  We see Sting saving the WCW superstars and challenge Shane Douglas for the pay per view.  We then go to the announce table where Scott Hudson is joined by Cyrus. Hudson:  Welcome to Nitro everyone.  I am here with my new broadcast partner Cyrus. Cyrus:  Thank you Scott for that warm welcome.  Now everyone is probably wondering why is Cyrus on Nitro?  Well that is simple, the NETWORK wants ratings and they know that Cyrus equals ratings. Hudson:  My question is this Cyrus, just what has this so called network done to Gene Bennett.  Cyrus:  Well Scott, we couldn't fire him so we have gave him a special job.  He is now in charge of concessions.  Hudson:  Concessions? Cyrus:  Yeah, he now runs on of the concessions stands Scott.  Let that be a warning to you, don't piss off the NETWORK! Hudson:  Let's get to the ring where Big Vito is facing Curt Hennig in our opening match. Big Vito continued his singles winning streak as he took out Curt Hennig.  Hennig looked good but made one mistake.  Hennig set earlier for a backdrop and got hit with the Big Vito Special for the win. Big Vito pinned Curt Hennig with the Big Vito Special in 0:03:14. Rating: * Cyrus:  What a way for ECW Nitro to start Scott.  Big Vito is becoming a huge star here in ECW. Hudson:  Well he just beat a veteran in Curt Hennig.  When we come back the team of Danny Doring and Roadkill take on Scotty Taylor and Jaime Knoble. Scott Taylor and Jaime Knoble, two of the top cruiserweights picked a win for WCW as they took out Danny Doring and Roadkill.  This match was short and sweet.  Knoble gave Doring a Tombstone while Taylor hit the Worm for the win. Scott Taylor and Jaime Knoble defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill when Taylor  pinned Roadkill with the Worm in 0:04:57. Rating: * 1/4 Cyrus:  Just so everyone knows, the NETWORK is looking into the possibility of banning that move right there.  There have been several injuries reported due to that move and we at the NETWORK are always looking out for our athletes. Hudson:  What in the hell are you-----wait a second, something is going on in the back. We see Lance Storm go into the WCW locker room. Storm:  I don't get you guys.  I have busted my ass for you guys and WCW.  You then turn your back on me.  Owen:  Hold it right there.  We didn't turn on anyone.  You turned on us.  We all saw what happened on Thunder when the Dudley's attacked Vampiro. Storm:  I can't help what they did. DeMott:  You sure didn't stop them did you? Storm:  I just got my ass kicked by Vampiro Bill, you know what.  Listen, you don't want me to fight for WCW that is fine.  But I am not fighting for ECW either.  For now on I am out for one person.  ME! Owen:  Is that so.  Well how about you bring your bring your selfish ass to the ring tonight. Storm:  Why wait, why not do it right now! We go to break with Storm leaving the locker room and Owen grabbing his elbow pads. Lance and Owen had a great match up that started very technically.  However Owen took the first cheap shot by going to the eyes.  During the match Cruiserweight champion Chris Candido and Tammy came to ringside.  Owen was about to lock in the Sharpshooter when Chris Candido jumped on the ring apron.  Owen went after Chris but the official stopped him.  The official then started to get Chris off the apron.  This allowed Tammy to enter the ring and give Owen a low blow.  Owen was stunned and Lance rolled him into the Maple Leaf for the win.  As the match ended Chris Candido hit the Flying Headbutt on Owen.  By the time Lance released the hold Chris was out of the ring and smiling. Lance Storm made Owen Hart submit to the Maple Leaf in 0:08:55. Rating: *** 3/4 Hudson:  Cyrus, I am going to ask you straight up, is Lance Storm part of ECW? Cyrus:  You take the evidence and make your own decision.   Hudson:  What in the hell does that mean? We then go to the break.  After the break we are in the back where Bill DeMott is talking to Lash LeRoux. DeMott:  Lash, tonight is your chance.  Prove to WCW and everyone out there you belong here.  We have always been misfits.  We have always been told we don't belong.  Tonight I want you to prove you belong.  Lash rushes off for his match and we see the Dudley Boys come out from a hall way. Buh Buh:  What a speech there Billy boy.   D-Von:  Yeah, but you left some stuff out.  Like win one for the team. Spike:  Oh and don't forget that it is the effort that matters. DeMott:  You got a problem boys? Spike:  Yeah, we have a problem with you and your buddies.   Buh Buh:  But I am sure we are holding you from watching your buddy in his match.  Bill DeMott looks confused as the Dudley's go back down the hall. Lash picked up a huge win here.  C.W. worked on Lash's back setting him up for the Anderson Spinebuster.  C.W. hit a big superkick for a near fall.  Lash pulled the upset after C.W. missed an avalanche in the corner.  Lash quickly hit the Whiplash 2000 for the win.  After the match The Dudley Boys hit the ring.  Lash turned right into a low blow and then the Acid Drop.  D-Von put a table in the ring and then along with Buh Buh put Lash through the table with 3D.  Bill DeMott ran out and threw his own body over Lash as the Dudley's were stomping on him.  We go to break with the Dudley's laughing as DeMott yells for the EMT's.  Lash LeRoux pinned C.W. Anderson with the Whiplash 2000 in 0:06:46. Rating: * After the break we see Lash LeRoux being loaded into an ambulance.   DeMott:  That is it, something needs to be down now. We then go to the announce table. Hudson:  ECW is sick.  I can't believe they would do that to Lash.  He didn't do anything. Cyrus:  That is what he gets for going against ECW Scott.  We are tired of playing nice.  We are going to show everyone just how EXTREME we can get.  Hudson:  Let's go to the ring where Chris Candido is facing off with the newest member of the Misfits, Brian Christopher.  Christopher and Candido went the time limit.  At several points both men were close to winning.  Brian hit a picture perfect brainbuster but Candido somehow kicked out.  Candido came back and hit a sitout piledriver for a near fall.  Brian again came back and hit a pumphandle slam and went to the top for the Tennessee Jam.  This is when Tammy interfered.  She distracted Brian giving Candido time to recover and crotch Brian.  Candido then hit a superplex that knocked both men out.  Brian made the cover at nine but the time limit expired.  From over the guardrail came a nacho vender.  He spun Tammy around and hit her in the face with a plate of nachos.  He then pours the cheese all over her.  The vendor took this hat off and it was Gene Bennett.  Brian Christopher and Chris Candido battled to a draw in 0:10:00. Rating: ** 1/4 (Chris Candido retained the ECW Cruiserweight Title.) Cyrus:  WHAT IN THE HELL IS HE DOING?? Gene stands over Tammy yelling at her and doesn't see Jerry Lawler come through the crowd.  Lawler spins Gene around and kicks him in the gut.  He is about to give Gene a piledriver on the floor when DDP and Ric Flair runs out. Hudson:  That is WCW watching out for each other. We go to break with Flair and DDP yelling at Lawler.  After the break we find DDP, Ric Flair and Gene Bennett all with Mark Madden in the back. Madden:  Gene, lets start with you.  For the last few weeks you have been out to embarrass the lovely Tammy Sytch.  Gene:  Mark, there is a reason I am doing that.  Tammy is nothing more then a bitch plain and simple.  My whole life I have known women like her.  She uses her enhanced charms to get what she wants.  Well I plan on stopping her every time. Madden:  Wells he can use her charms on me anytime.  Anyway, DDME----I mean P, can you give me an update on Kanyon? DDP:  Kanyon has a burned cornea.  He cannot see out his left eye at all.  The doctors say that with an eye covering he will be able to return to action in about two weeks.  Flair:  Mark, before you even ask me the reason I was out there is simple.  Lawler cost me a match on Thunder.  So tonight DDP and I have an idea Jerry.  You team up with that little punk Mikey Whipwreck to take on DDP and myself right here. Madden:  Sounds like we have a main event her tonight. We then find a camera following Bill DeMott as he storms down the hall.  He finds Dusty Rhodes office and kicks the door in. DeMott:  Dusty Rhodes.  I wanted the Dudley's tonight.  Now you have two options.  Give them to me in six-man action or I am going to take this name plaque and shove it up your fat ass.  Rhodes:  That is fine since they asked for the same thing just a few minutes ago.  However I want to remind you not to come in here and make demands Mr. DeMott.  Next time I will fire YOUR fat ass.  Now get out. We then go to the ring where former FBI member Johnny the Bull was challenging for the TV title.  Little Guido had little problems with JTB.  The younger had heart, but just couldn't seem to keep up with Guido.  The end came when Guido hit the Kiss of Death after punishing JTB for some time. Little Guido Maritato pinned Johnny the Bull with the Kiss of Death in 0:07:51. Rating: * (Little Guido Maritato retained the ECW TV Title.) The next match was Balls Mahoney taking on The Undertaker.  Balls got a big win with the help of Mikey Whipwreck.  Whipwreck, has teamed with Balls in the past, distracted Taker.  Mikey tried to throw a fireball at Taker, but he moved.  Taker then tossed Mikey off the apron.  He turned around however right into the Nutcracker Suite for a huge upset.  Balls Mahoney pinned The Undertaker with the Nutcracker Suite in 0:05:16. Rating: ** Cyrus:  Oh yeah.  WCW's big man goes down to ECW.  The Undertaker falls.  We still have DDP and Flair going down in the main event. Hudson:  That remains to be seen Cyrus my friend.  Don't forget that up next it will be those damn Dudley's, all three, taking on Bill DeMott and whoever he found to be his partners.  Cyrus, that is next. After the break The Dudley Boys are in the ring when Bill DeMott comes on the rampway.  DeMott:  Lash didn't do a thing tonight and you attacked him.  You might have ended his career for what?  For this stupid ECW WCW feud?  Well I hope you enjoyed your little attack because you pay now.  I went to the back and found two people that want a piece of your asses.  One is a freak and the other is the next WCW Champion.  I give up Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett.  Jarrett and Steiner, along with DeMott charge the ring and the match begins. Those damn Dudley's got the win only after WCW attacked and really for the first time since ECW invaded took the offensive.  The match was really a fight much like the main event at Bash at the Beach.  Often there were four or more guys in the ring.  DeMott took a 3D at one point.  D-Von to the Stroke from Jarrett.  Buh Buh hit Jarrett with the Buh Buh Bomb.  Steiner gave Buh Buh the Frankensteiner.  Spike then hit Scotty with the Acid Drop.  This was when Sting lowered from the rafters and attacked Spike.  From the back out came the entire WCW locker room.  They left the Dudley's laying a pool of their own blood.  We see on a split screen that someone has blocked ECW's locker room door with a forklift. The Dudley Boys and Spike Dudley defeated Jeff Jarrett, Bill DeMott and Scott Steiner when Spike Dudley defeated S. Steiner by disqualification in 0:13:10. Rating: *** Hudson:  HELL YEAH!  WCW IS IN THE HOUSE!!! Cyrus:  My God the NETWORK is going to be upset about this.  Hudson:  I think I speak for the entire WCW locker room when I say screw the network and screw ECW!  Up next WCW gains more momentum as we take out that jackass Jerry Lawler and his newest running buddy Mikey Whipwreck. DDP and Ric Flair did just as Scott Hudson said, kept WCW's momentum alive as they took Mikey and Lawler down.  Early on ECW was on the offensive trying to stop WCW but DDP finally tagged Flair and Flair took over.  Flair kept both Mikey and Lawler down.  The Undertaker came out as Mikey was thrown to the floor.  DDP snuck in and hit Lawler with the Diamond Cutter and got the win. Diamond Dallas Page and Ric Flair defeated Mikey Whipwreck and Jerry Lawler when Page pinned Lawler with the Diamond Cutter in 0:10:31. Rating: ** 1/2 Cyrus:  So WCW wants a war is that it?  They think they are going to out Extreme the masters of Extreme?
