Nitro comes on the air with the usual opening when suddenly the screen goes to static.  Then we hear the ECW Theme start and we see all the ECW stars.  We then go to the WCW locker room.  Disqo, Steve Blackman, Ray Traylor, Johnny the Bull, Lash LeRoux and Scott Taylor are all sitting there.  All of them look worse for wear as they are all bandaged up in different places from the attack.  Bill DeMott then walks in. Lash:  Bill, are they here yet? Bill:  Nope.  And to be honest I doubt they show up.  They took one hell of a beating last night.  Those three men may never return.  We are on our own tonight guys.  Tonight we are going to take back this company.  Johnny, who made your career?  Lash, what about you?  Disqo, do you think you would be where you are now if you were with another company?  Ray, who took you and Steve in when no one else wanted you?  This is our company and we have to take it back.  The guys start looking up when William Regal, Arn Anderson, Ric Flair, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Kanyon, DDP and Curt Hennig all walk in. Flair:  Bill, let me take it from here son.  Look at you boys.  You are all down in the dumps because we took a beating one night?  ONE NIGHT!  That was the first shot in this war. Arn:  We are WCW guys.  We are the ones that will keep this company going.  I left this company once and regretted this.  This is my home.  This is your home.  They took us in when no one else would.  Are we going to let those misfits take our home over?  DDP:  I have been gone a while.  This company backed me when everyone saw me as an old man trying to become a wrestler.  They let me run with the ball.  Last night should have been a homecoming for me.  Instead it was like coming home to find your house robbed.  They took the ball I once carried proudly.  Now it is time for us to take it back. The Big Show and the Undertaker then walk in as everyone looks shocked that they are here. We go to break with the WCW Locker room looking pumped up. After the break we come to a screen shot that says "Rest In Peace WCW".  The ECW Music then plays.  Team ECW, led by the owner Paul Heyman comes out.  Heyman:  Shut the hell up all of you idiots and let the owner of WCW talk.  I just saw the WCW locker room all fired up about taking WCW back.  WELL IT WON'T HAPPEN.  Look in this ring.  You have every title in WCW here.  Your heroes couldn't beat us.  NO ONE CAN!!  Spike:  Paul, my question is this.  How long do I have to wear this piece of [BLEEP]?  Heyman:  I am glad you asked that Spike.  Behind me I just happen to have the ECW titles.  Spike, here is your ECW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE!  Now Shane, ECW never had a US title before, so I am proud to declare you the FIRST ever ECW UNITED STATES CHAMPION! Douglas:  Paul, thank you.  I also want to let you know the biggest mistake I EVER made was leaving ECW. Heyman:  Rhino, here is your ECW HARDCORE Title.  Chris, your ECW CRUISERWEIGHT title.  D-Von, Buh Buh, these are yours for the ninth time, the ECW TAG TEAM TITLES.  Lastly I have to give this to you Guido, the ECW TV Title.  Suddenly Space Odyssey 2001 plays as the entire WCW Locker room comes out. Flair:  Isn't this nice.  Extremely Crappy Wrestling once again trying to ride our coat tails.  Everyone remembers the bWo don't they?  Nothing like copying the most over group in wrestling history huh?  Paul Heyman, you haven't had an original idea ever.  Heyman:  Old man, you dare to interrupt me?  I WILL FIRE YOUR ASS HERE AND NOW!! Regal:  Listen here sunshine.  I don't know who you are and quite frankly I don't care.  You come in here and think that we are going to just sit back an allow it?  This company was built by guys like Mr. Flair and Mr. Anderson you miserable little toe rag. Douglas:  Hey Regal, are you still here?  After the beating I gave you last night I figured you left. Regal:  If you beat me so bad, why don't you give me a rematch sunshine?  Douglas:  I don't think so.  But tonight how about you pick another one of those WCW losers and take on the second best team in WCW, Danny Doring and Roadkill. Regal:  You got it.   Heyman:  Since everyone is here, how about I make the rest of the night.  I was looking over the title history knowing that every night the TV title has to be defended.  Well I picked a former champion, hell the greatest TV champion ever.  Double-------G!  That's right Disqo, tonight you get a chance against Little Guido and that tag title.  Now onto you DDP.  I don't know who you think you are.  No one invited you to MY pay per view last night.  However tonight I know who will send you and that idiot Kanyon out of ECW, Big Vito and Tony Mamaluke.  Douglas:  Paul, I have a favor.  Give me and the rest of the Triple Threat those misfits that run around with Bill DeMott.  They suck and always have.  I want to finish them off tonight. Heyman:  You got it Franchise.  Now I heard how the Undertaker was talking about how WCW gave him a break years ago.  Well he must have forgot that I was the one that did that for him.  Well tonight I am going to do another thing for him.  Make him the true dead man as he takes on RHINO!!  Jarrett:  Hold it right there slapass.  I am a former WCW Champion and I can't stand to see that little bitch with the title that we busted our asses for.  Heyman:  Are you asking for a title shot?  What is your name again?  Oh yeah, that's right.  It is J-E DOUBLE F HAHAHAH J-A- DOUBLE R - E DOUBLE T, Double J!  HAHAHA!  What a bunch of crap that was.  Spike will have no problem taking you out. We go to break with both groups heading to the back.  After the break we go to ringside where Gene Bennett is with Scott Hudson.  Suddenly the ECW music plays and Joey Styles comes to ringside and takes the headset. Styles:  Welcome everyone to ECW NITRO!! Bennett:  ECW Nitro my ass son.  The only reason I am not knocking you damn teeth down your throat is because it's my job to announce.  Now let's get to the ring and see some wrestling as William Regal and whoever he teams with kicks the hell out of Doring and Roadkill. Arn Anderson and William Regal came out to take on Danny Doring and Roadkill.  This match was great as Regal and Anderson had good team work.  Early on Regal and Arn used their experience, but the youth of Roadkill and Doring took over.  The end came when Doring and Roadkill went for the Lancaster Lariat of Lust.  Regal fought out and Anderson caught Doring in the Spinebuster for the win. Arn Anderson and William Regal defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill when Anderson pinned Doring with the Spinebuster in 0:06:15. Rating: *** 1/2 Bennett:  HELL YEAH!!  WCW just taught those young pups a lesson. Hudson:  Gene, it is our job to be impartial out here.  Let's try to keep this professional. Styles:  Yeah Gene, try to be more like ECW.  We are true professionals. Bennett:  Let's go to the back where Terry Taylor is with Disqo. Taylor:  Disqo, tonight you get a chance to become the TV Champion once again. Disqo:  Terry, tonight I fight for WCW.  In the past WCW and I have had bad moments.  This time however we all have to pull together.  When I win this title it will be for everyone in the locker room. Taylor:  Up next, Disqo and Little Guido for the W---I mean ECW TV Title. Disqo injured his leg in the opening moments of the match.  Disqo however continued to fight back.  Disqo somehow was able to hit a piledriver but couldn't take advantage.  Disqo went for the Last Dance but his leg gave out and Guido hit the Kiss of Death for the win.  Guido then flipped Disqo over and locked in an Ankle Lock.  Disqo screamed in pain.  From the back Brian Christopher, Steve Blackman and Ray Traylor made the save. Little Guido Maritato pinned Disqo with the Kiss of Death in 0:04:33. Disqo tore his left calf muscle. He will be out for approximately 8 cards. Rating: * 1/4 (Little Guido Maritato retained the ECW TV Title.) Bennett:  Professional huh Styles?  Guido could have just broke Disqo's ankle. Styles:  Looks like Disqo won't be dancing anytime soon folks. Bennett:  Don't make a joke out of this Styles.  I am just about to take my foot and stick it up your---- Hudson:  Up next it will be Big Vito and Tony Mamaluke teaming up against Kanyon and DDP. DDP and Kanyon got the win in this match.  Early on the FBI worked on former TV Champion Chris Kanyon.  A hot tag to DDP and the match took off.  DDP hit a face first piledriver on Mamaluke and signaled for the Diamond Cutter when Big Sal entered the ring. Sal drove DDP back into the corner crushing him.  Mamaluke quickly went to the top rope and then onto Sal's back.  He then hit his Flying Legdrop.  The official, Nick Patrick, was getting Sal out of the ring when former FBI member Johnny the Bull hit the ring.  JTB hit his flying legdrop on Mamaluke.  Vito came in and gave JTB a Mafia kick but turned right into the Diamond Cutter and the pinfall. Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Kanyon defeated Tony Mamaluke and Big Vito when Page pinned Vito with the Diamond Cutter in 0:11:47. Rating: *** Styles:  That official Nick Patrick should be fined and suspended.  He was obviously not willing to call for a DQ. Bennett:  I thought this was now ECW Joey?  I didn't think you had DQ's in ECW.  Looks like your ECW crew SUCKS! Hudson:  This is crazy.  Up next Bill DeMott leads his team against the Triple Threat. Bill DeMott led his misfits to a big victory.  H.C. Loc didn't make anyone ever leave the ring.  This was a pure brawl.  Shane Douglas hit the Franchiser on Lash but Taylor broke it up.  Taylor later on was hit with a Spinebuster by C.W. but DeMott broke it up with his Moonsault.  DeMott went for the win but Candido hit his Flying Headbutt.  Meanwhile Taylor hit the Worm on Douglas but C.W. broke it up.  C.W., Douglas, Lash and Scotty all brawled to the floor.  In the ring Candido went for his Flying Headbutt, but DeMott hit a powerslam for the win. Bill DeMott, Scott Taylor and Lash LeRoux defeated Shane Douglas, C.W. Anderson and Chris Candido when DeMott pinned Candido after a powerslam in 0:07:10. Rating: ** Styles:  What in the hell was Loc looking at?  He should be more impartial that. Bennett:  Styles, what in the hell happened to you?  You used to be a good announcer now you are just a corporate ass kisser. Styles:  What about you?  You are nothing more then a WCW yes man.  So don't come out here and start talking about me kissing ass. Bennett:  Well I am going to kick your ass real quick. Hudson:  Ok you two.  This is the last time I am going to tell you.  You two need to knock it off.  I will have security come out here and take both your asses to the back. Bennett:  Let's go to Mike Tenay who is with The Undertaker. Tenay:  Undertaker, tonight you get the chance to become the Hardcore Champion and bring a title back to WCW.  UT:  Tenay, tonight the American Badass proves that he is just that, a badass.  The title doesn't mean a damn thing to me.  I am doing this because WCW is my house.  Those boys are coming into my house.  Before you come out to the ring I want you to give your soul to God because your ass belongs to me! In probably the stiffest match in WCW history Rhino retained the ECW Hardcore Title.  Rhino gored the hell out of the Undertaker about five times through the match but Dead Man Inc would stay down.  Rhino went for a gore at one point but Taker caught him and gave him a chokeslam.  Taker was about to hit the Last Ride when the Dudley Boys hit the ring.  They gave UT the 3D and that would have ended the match had Owen Hart and Lance Storm not hit the ring.  Owen and Lance knocked both Dudley's out of the ring and gave Rhino a double lariat.  Moments later Rhino was able to hit a Spinebuster through a table and got the win. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Rhino pinned The Undertaker after a spinebuster slam in 0:14:58. Rating: **** 1/4 (Rhino retained the ECW Hardcore Title.) Styles:  OH MY GOD RHINO JUST BROKE THE UNDERTAKER IN HALF! Bennett:  I knew he wouldn't make it one show without yelling like that. Hudson:  Those damn Dudley's!  Wait a minute Lance Storm has the mic. Storm:  ECW.  I know those letters very well.  ECW made me a household name in the US.  But then Paul E decided that other guys needed to get paid and that Canadian chump doesn't need his pay.  Hell I gave him a bimbo to go to the ring with that's enough isn't it?  Well tonight Paul I am going to do something I should have done a long time ago.  I am going to take those tag team titles and throw them in the trash can.  Hart:  Dudley's, I don't care if you come to the ring or we have to drag you to the ring tonight we get those titles back. Bennett:  What a main event.  When we come back Jeff Jarrett takes on the runt of the litter, Spike Dudley. Spike Dudley was able to retain his title with help from the new owner Paul Heyman.  Spike and Jeff had a great match up and it seemed like Spike was about to lose his title as Jeff locked in the Figure Four.  This brought out Paul E who jumped on the apron.  Jarrett pulled Paul into the ring.  Jarrett was about to hit the Stroke when Spike gave him a low blow and hit the Acid Drop for the win. Spike Dudley pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Acid Drop in 0:08:57. Rating: ** (Spike Dudley retained the ECW World Title.) Styles:  The winner and still champion Spike Dudley!  Bennett:  What a great owner.  Nothing like hand picking your champion.  This makes me sick.  Hudson:  What a rotten night.  Up next the New Hart Foundation takes on The Dudley Boys. The New Hart Foundation came up short in our main event.  They did fight the Dudley's to the ring as we came back from break.  This match, much like the six man earlier, was a pure brawl.  Owen locked in the Sharpshooter only to have Buh Buh break it up.  D-Von then went for his neckbreaker but Storm broke it up.  The end came when Storm threw Buh Buh a chair and attempted to superkick it into his face.  Buh Buh however stepped to the side and held the chair in front of Owen.  Lance then superkicked the chair into Owen's face.  Buh Buh tossed Lance to the floor and the Dudley's hit 3D for the win. The Dudley Boys defeated The New Hart Foundation when Buh Buh Ray pinned O. Hart after the Dudley Death Drop in 0:08:42. Rating: *** 1/2 (The Dudley Boys retained the ECW Tag Team Titles.) Styles:  I knew Lance would come home.  He will be welcomed back to ECW with open arms. Bennett:  Scott, you don't think that Lance would join ECW do you?
