Thunder comes on the air with footage of Big Van Vader getting defeated by Spike Dudley in the main event.  We also see Rhino gore both men.  We then go to the announce table where Mark Madden and Mike Tenay are sitting. Madden:  Welcome to Thunder everyone.   Tenay:  We are three days from Bash at the Beach and tonight should finalize the show.  We are going to start off by finding out who will face Cruiserweight champion Chris Candido, either Scott Taylor or Lash LeRoux.  Neither man advanced to Bash at the Beach thanks to the Triple Threat.  Early on it was friendly until Lash opened up with a series of rights.  The match then went down hill.  Both men fell to the floor and that is when the Triple Threat attacked causing the double countout.  Scott Taylor and Lash LeRoux battled to a double countout in 0:06:40. Rating: * The Triple Threat continued the attack until Bill DeMott ran out with a chair.  Suddenly Thundervision went black and we see a shadowy figure. (Scrambled voice):  Chris Candido, do you think that you saved yourself a title defense?  All you did is make it a triple threat match at Bash at the Beach, you taking on BOTH Scott Taylor AND Lash LeRoux.  In the crowd we see Candido freaking out.   (Scrambled Voice):  As for who I am.  You will find out this Sunday just who now owns WCW.  Tenay:  We find out Sunday who our new boss is Mark. Madden:  Well hopefully your worthless ass will get fired because you just plain suck Tenay. Tenay:  Madden, kiss my--- Shane Douglas then comes into the scene and grabs Tenay's headset. Douglas:  I don't know who in the hell that was but he is screwing with the wrong people in the Triple Threat.  Madden:  Damn right Franchise.   Douglas:  Tonight Spike Dudley, you and your title are mine.  That's a fact, that's a fact, that's a fact-----JACKASS!! After the break it was Team Blood taking on Scott Steiner and Booker T.  This wasn't much of a match as Steiner and Booker ended it with Steiner hitting a belly to belly followed by the Harlem Hangover.  Scott Steiner and Booker T defeated Team Blood when Booker T pinned Gangrel after the Harlem Hangover in 0:05:04. Rating: *** Tenay:  Scotty and Booker look great as a team Mark.   Madden:  I will agree there.  For once we are on the same page Mike as we both want WCW to destroy the Dudley's.  But it is going to be a mute point after Shane defeats Spike tonight.  Tenay:  Whatever, after the break it will be Big Show and Undertaker taking on Tony Mamaluke and Little Guido Maritato. The F.B.I didn't stand a chance and the challenger for TV title, Little Guido didn't even get the tag.  Tony got completely destroyed and took the Last Ride to end the match. The Unholy Alliance defeated The F.B.I when Undertaker pinned Mamaluke with the Last Ride in 0:04:49. Rating: * 1/4 Madden:  Wow!  That was a former cruiserweight and TV Champion they just dominated. Tenay:  Tony didn't even get the tag Mark.  Team Blood is in big trouble this Sunday.  Let's go to the back where Gene Bennett is with Steve Blackman and Disqo. Bennett:  Guys, you both have important singles matches here tonight.  Steve, tonight you have the chance to become the TV Champion as you take on Chris Kanyon. Blackman:  Gene, you know I do my talking in the ring.  Tonight I get gold around my waist. Bennett:  Disqo, over the last few weeks you have been taking a lot of blows to the head.  How are you feeling? Disqo:  Well do you mean have I had more concussions? Bennett:  That is the question DI. Disqo:  Yeah, last Monday when that hick Ray Traylor hit me in the head with a nightstick for no reason.  So tonight I give him an old fashion Brooklyn tushie kicking. Bennett:  Up next those two matches. Disqo came up short in this match.  Disqo, since losing the TV Title hasn't been on his game.  The end came when Traylor countered the Last Dance with a low blow and then hit the Traylor Park Trash slam for the win. Ray Traylor pinned Disqo with the Traylor Park Trash in 0:06:23. Rating: * 1/4 Chris Kanyon will go into Bash at the Beach with the TV thanks to Brian Christopher's interference.  Steve seemed set to become the champ when Brian hit the ring.  The official didn't DQ Kanyon because Brian didn't get in any offense.  However the distraction allowed Kanyon to recover and hit the Kanyon Cutter on Blackman as he turned around. Chris Kanyon pinned Steve Blackman with the Kanyon Cutter in 0:09:07. Rating: * 1/4 (Chris Kanyon retained the WCW TV Title.) After the match Brian was about to attack Blackman when Disqo hit the ring.  Disqo then grabbed the mic. Disqo:  Enough is enough.  We want you to in the ring at Bash at the Beach. Disqo throws the mic down as we go to break.   After the break we see Gene catching Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart as they leave the arena. Bennett:  Guys, where are you going? Owen:  We aren't on tonight so we are heading back to the hotel. Bennett:  Well your booked now.  Whoever that guy was that booked the triple threat match at Bash at the Beach has given you two a Tag Team Title shot here tonight.  Neidhart:  Tonight Owen, tonight we get our revenge. Owen:  Yeah, I just wish Lance could be here. We then go to the ring where William Regal has the mic. Regal:  Hello all my American friends, it is I Lord William Regal.  Now I know everyone here is wondering why it has taken me so long to attempt to get my British Heavyweight title back.  Well that all ends this Sunday.  Now I want a warm up match so any of you American toe rags come out here and get the thrashing you deserve. Sting's music hits as he comes out. Sting:  Willie, I could use a warm up as well.  So tonight Willie---IT'S SHOWTIME!!  OWWWW! Sting picked up the win but it was hard fought.  This was a hard hitting match and the more aggressive side of Regal was shown.  Regal got several near falls with European Uppercuts and bodyslams.  He then went to work on Sting's neck setting up for the Neckbreaker.  Regal did go for it but Sting countered with a short clothesline.  Moments later he hit the Stinger Splash and the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.  Sting pinned William Regal with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:05:18. Rating: *** Madden:  What a match between two major stars here in WCW.  Sting looks good going into the main event on Sunday Mike. Tenay:  Well even William Regal is probably pulling for Sting and company at Bash at the Beach.  Let's go to the back where Gene is with those damn Dudley's. Bennett:  Tonight your title is on the lines as you face Shane Douglas Spike. Spike:  Gene, do you know who I am?  I am the most Hardcore Dudley out of all.  I have beat punks like Shane Douglas my whole life. Buh Buh and D-Von then stand behind Gene and Gene starts to look a bit nervous. Spike:  What's wrong Gene, look a little nervous. Bennett:  Well I didn't expect for Buh Buh and D-Von to just kind of appear like that. Buh Buh:  Don't worry boy, we won't hurt ya.  We kind of like you.  You remind us of Joel, except bigger. Bennett:  Funny. D-Von:  Tonight Gene, you are going to see the Dudley Machine continue it's dominance.  Buh Buh:  Tonight three more punks learn the Dudley's commandments.  Thou shall not steal, thou shall not kill and thou shall not F#CK with the Dudley's. D-Von:  TESTIFY!!! Bennett:  Up next, Spike and Shane Douglas for the World Title. Spike Dudley retained his title after a brawl erupted between almost the entire locker room.  During the match both the Dudley's and the Triple Threat appeared at ringside.  Then Team WCW along with Bill DeMott's crew came out.  Then Rhino and it was soon a lumberjack match.  The match ended when Rhino tried to gore Spike but missed and hit Shane.  This started the brawl.  During the brawl Spike hit the Acid Drop for the win. Spike Dudley pinned Shane Douglas with the Acid Drop in 0:10:50. Rating: *** 3/4 (Spike Dudley retained the WCW World Title.) Tenay:  MY GOD PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING EVERWHERE!!! Madden:  INCOMING!! Rhino gores William Regal over the broadcast table taking both Mark and Mike out.  We go to break with this chaos taking place.  After the break we see that Mark Madden is now joined by Gene Bennett.  Madden:  Mark Madden here now joined by Gene Bennett. Bennett:  Mark, are you ok?   Madden:  Yeah, I am ok, but Mike can't say that.  He took Rhino's head right into his chest and got the wind knocked out of him.  Bennett:  Well Mike is ok and will be back next week.  Right now we are going to continue with the show and we have the Horsemen exploding live right here as Jeff Jarrett teams with Ric Flair to take on Arn Anderson and Curt Hennig. Jarrett and Flair got the win, but neither team looked together.  They argued and fought amongst themselves.  The end came when Hennig and Arn collided setting up the Stroke and the win. Jeff Jarrett and Ric Flair defeated Arn Anderson and Curt Hennig when Jarrett pinned Curt Hennig with the Stroke in 0:12:51. Rating: ** After the match all four men fought each other.  Finally officials separated the men and the Nature Boy took the mic. Flair:  Since this is my last chance to book any matches at Bash at the Beach the four of us are going to settle this once and for all.  Four men enter the ring and one will leave.  No rules.  Flair drops the mic and we go to break by watching the New Foundation and the Dudley Boys come to the ring.  The Dudley's retained their titles in this great main event.  Jim and Owen really went right at the Dudley's with revenge on their mind.  Early on Jim and Owen worked on Buh Buh.  They hit a Rocket Launcher but somehow Buh Buh kicked out.  Finally the tag was mad to D-Von and the Dudley's took over on Jim Neidhart.  They then kept Jim in the ring.  Finally Jim made the tag and the match turned into a brawl.  During the brawl Spike Dudley came out and pulled Jim Neidhart out.  This allowed Buh Buh and D-Von to hit the 3D and get the win. The Dudley Boys defeated Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart when D-Von Dudley pinned O. Hart after the Dudley Death Drop in 0:08:55. Rating: *** 3/4 (The Dudley Boys retained the WCW Tag Team Titles.)
