Nitro comes on the air and we go to the back where we see the CEO in his office.

Flair:  Welcome to Nitro everyone.  We have an action packed night planned.  We will see nearly every title on the line tonight.  Spike Dudley will face off with Big Van Vader.  Also the US Champion, by order of our commissioner, will face off with Curt Hennig.  Also by order of our commissioner Arn Anderson gets a TV title shot.  I am also going to put our Cruiserweight champion in the ring against Scotty Taylor.  Also in a preview of Bash at the Beach Booker T will face Buh Buh Ray Dudley and D-Von takes on Sting.  All that and more.  This is my last week as CEO and I hope to bring you all the best in wrestling action.

We then go to the ringside area where Gene Bennett is with Scott Hudson.

Bennett:  What a night by the sound of what the CEO just said Scott.

Hudson:  That's for sure, but what about the main event, Big Van Vader taking on the World Champion Spike Dudley.  Could the Dudley's reign of terror finally end here tonight?

Bennett:  Well lets go to the ring where Scott Taylor is waiting for Chris Candido.

Chris Candido retained his title thanks to help from the US Champion Shane Douglas.  Early on it looked like Scotty was about to become a two time Cruiserweight champion.  He was going for the Worm when Shane ran from the back and distracted Taylor.  Candido then rammed to the together but Shane got his hand in the way.  Taylor yet down like a ton of bricks allowing Candido to hit the Flying Headbutt for the win.

Chris Candido pinned Scott Taylor with the Flying Headbutt in 0:07:02.

After the match we see Shane get back up and we see the chain in his hand.  Candido and Douglas then go to work on Taylor until Lash LeRoux and Bill DeMott ran out for the save.

DeMott:  Shane, this has to stop you son of a bitch.  I swear to you at Bash at the Beach this will end.

Lash:  Candido, why don't you give me a re-match at the pay per view?

Scott Taylor then grabbed the mic.

Taylor:  Hold on, I was just robbed, I deserve that match.

Candido:  Well here is the deal.  You two fight on Thunder and the winner will get a title shot.

Douglas:  Yeah---JACKASS!!

Bennett:  What a match signed just now for Thunder.  Two best friends for a title shot.

Hudson:  If there is one thing that can in between friends, it is the gold.

Bennett:  Let's go to the back where Mark Madden is with Arn Anderson.

Madden:  Arn, how do you justify this title shot when you are nothing more then a shadow for Ric Flair?

Arn:  Mark, are you trying to piss me off?  Because saying stuff like that will do it.  Tonight I prove why I am one of the greatest TV champions of all time.  Taking nothing away for Chris Kanyon, who is a great champion.  But tonight I prove that I don't need the Horsemen to win titles.  Now Mark, I have a match to get ready for.

Madden:  You bet Arn.  Up next folks it will be Chris Kanyon taking on Arn 'The Shadow' Anderson.

Kanyon retained his title thanks to some help.  Arn and Kanyon had an even match going when Jarrett came down.  Arn however ducked the guitar shot and Kanyon went down.  While the official however was yelling at Jeff Ric Flair came out with Arns tire iron and knocked Arn goofy.  Kanyon finally recovered and the official turn around in time to see Kanyon hit the Kanyon Cutter for the win.

Chris Kanyon pinned Arn Anderson with the Kanyon Cutter in 0:07:45.

(Chris Kanyon retained the WCW TV Title.)

After the match Flair and Jarrett double teamed Arn until Hennig made the save.  Curt then grabbed the mic.

Hennig:  Ric, Jeff, on Thunder it is going to you team taking us on in a tag match. Be ready Ric, because we are going to prove that Arn carried the Horsemen all those years.

After the break the New Foundation took on the Mamalukes.  The Mamalukes were on the same page while Owen and Jim were on fire.  It seems that since their return nothing can stop them.  The end came when Owen gave Vito a missile dropkick and he turned right into a Powerslam from Neidhart for the win.

Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart defeated The Mamalukes when Neidhart pinned Big Vito with the Powerslam in 0:08:42.
Rating: *** 1/4

Bennett:  Another win for Owen and Jim.  It seems that Owen is back in ring shape, and Jim is----well he is crazy as ever.

Hudson:  While I don't agree with everyone he has said, I just hope we see Lance Storm return soon.  Lance is a great athlete and what those damn Dudley's did makes me sick.

Bennett:  Speaking of making people sick, let's go to Mike Tenay who is with 'Lord' William Regal.

Tenay:  Your Lordship, tonight you take on Team Blood member Vampiro.  Is that wise with your big US title match less then a week away?

Regal:  Who in the hell are you?  Never mind sunshine.  This, this, whatever Vampiro is doesn't stand a chance against someone of my skill.  Where is this bloody fool Vampiro from again?

Tenay:  Most of his wrestling experience comes from Mexico.

Regal:  Well why couldn't he do what all those other ugly Mexicans do and just cover their faces with bloody masks.  He really isn't a good looking fellow.  Now if you will excuse me, I am up next.

William Regal and Vampiro had a very technical match up.  While everyone was expecting either Team Blood or maybe Unholy Alliance to interfere this was on a level playing field.  Vamp nearly won with a moonsault but somehow Vamp kicked out.  Vamp then went for the Nail in the Coffin but Regal floated over and hit his Cobra Neckbreaker for the win.

William Regal pinned Vampiro with the Cobra Neckbreaker in 0:08:12.
Rating: **

As Regal was heading to the back Unholy Alliance came out.  As they headed toward the ring Danny Doring and Roadkill attacked Unholy Alliance.  Official quickly separated the two teams.

Bennett:  What was that all about?

Hudson:  I don't know but Danny Doring has a mic.

Doring:  You two goofs like to stick your noses in other people's business.  You come out during any match you and attack anyone you want.  Well it was our turn.  We have been over looked long enough.  Get your two goofy asses down to this ring----NOW!!

The Unholy Alliance went straight to the ring and we had an impromptu match.  Doring and Roadkill had a lot of fight but the Alliance ended that quickly.  Doring and Roadkill did hit the Lancaster Lariat of Lust but Taker just sat up.  Moments later Doring took the Double Chokeslam to Hell for the pinfall.

The Unholy Alliance defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill when Wight pinned Doring after the Double Chokeslam to Hell in 0:05:30.
Rating: ** 1/2

Taker:  Gangrel, Vampiro, look at this.  Look at the carnage we just left in the ring.  This is what will happen to you in six days in the graveyard.

Bennett:  I wouldn't want to be in their shoes at Bash at the Beach Scott.

Hudson:  If there was ever two men I wouldn't fight it would be 'The Big Show' Paul Wight and The Undertaker.  After the break it will be Curt Hennig challenging for the US Title.

Hennig and Douglas didn't hold back one bit.  Both men came close to getting wins.  Both men even hit their finishers but the other somehow got out.  The end came when Shane pulled his trusty chain and knocked Hennig out for the win.

Shane Douglas pinned Curt Hennig after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:06:16.

(Shane Douglas retained the WCW US Title.)

Bennett:  Shane can't win a match without cheating can he?

Hudson:  He is a damn weasel, that is for sure.  Let's go to the back where Mike Tenay is now with Sting and Booker T.

Tenay:  Sting, tonight it you will be you one on one with D-Von Dudley.

Sting:  Mike, tonight I give him just a taste of what he will be getting in six days at Bash at the Beach.  Not only have they done things to me, but everyone here in WCW.  Even though the Internet says that the WCW locker room is full of family.  Our family has been attacked, and that is one thing you don't do.

Tenay:  So this is more then a wrestling thing huh?

Sting:  You bet it is.  This is all about family.  Tonight D-Von learns to mess with my family.

Booker:  That's right Mike.  We are a family.  Tonight we teach not only The Dudley's, but anyone else out there not to mess with this family.

Tenay:  After the break, those matches.

Sting took D-Von to the extremes so to speak.  This match was a brawl and the official, H.C. Loc allowed it.  D-Von took control early with weapons like trash cans and road signs.  Sting however moved out of the way of a flying elbow.  Sting took over with a series of rights and back fists.  Sting then hit a powerslam and hit a flying splash for a near fall.  This is when Spike and Buh Buh hit the ring.  However Booker T and Scott Steiner were right behind.  Scotty and Spike fought to the back and Booker and Buh Buh were on the floor.  D-Von tried to pull Booker to the apron and that allowed Sting to hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.

Sting pinned D-Von Dudley with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:09:36.
Rating: ** 1/4

Sting and D-Von then fought to the floor while Booker and Buh Buh hit the ring.

Buh Buh and Booker picked up with the hardcore action using the trash cans and road signs in the ring.  Buh Buh hit his sitout atomic drop for a near fall.  Booker however came back with his version of the Buh Buh Cutter.  He then went for his axe kick, but D-Von hooked his leg.  Booker pulled D-Von up and moved as Buh Buh charged and the tag champs went head to head.  Buh Buh turned right into the Book End for the win.

Booker T pinned Buh Buh Ray Dudley with the Book End in 0:10:47.
Rating: **

The two teams then fought to the back.

Bennett:  There we go Team WCW!  It's time that WCW stands up for ourselves against punks like them.

Hudson:  Tonight we have the upper hand but it doesn't end until Bash at the Beach.

Bennett:  Damn right Scott.  We end it in that cage.

Hudson:  Up next, it will be Rhino defending his Hardcore title against Bill DeMott.

DeMott didn't really stand a chance.  His head was on Shane Douglas and the US title.  Rhino ended it by choking Bill out with the Rhino Recliner.

Rhino made Bill DeMott submit to the Rhino Recliner in 0:04:15.

Bennett:  Can anyone stop Rhino?

Hudson:  Well the Mastodon Vader will try at Bash at the Beach with his career on the line.

Bennett:  I don't know if I like Vader's odds.  I brought Vader here but I think at Bash at the Beach we will see him leave.

Hudson:  Let's go to the back where Mark Madden is with Steve Blackman.

Madden:  Steve, tonight you face your former partner Brian Christopher all because you teamed with bugle beak, Disqo.

Blackman:  Listen Mark, Disqo has heart.  He goes out there every week.  Hell your fat ass can't even get into the ring.  I helped Disqo because he asked me.  It had nothing to do with Brian.  Then he had to stick his nose into it and try to hurt Disqo.  Well tonight I hurt him and if you don't lay off Disqo I am going to hurt you.

Madden:  Ye---ye---yes sir.

Steve Blackman picked up a win but this was a very even match up.  Brian nearly won after a brainbuster but Disqo ran out and distracted Brian.  This allowed Blackman to recover and hit his Pump Kick for the win.

Steve Blackman pinned Brian Christopher with the Pump Kick in 0:09:19.
Rating: *

After the match Steve asked Disqo what he was doing.  While they talked Ray Traylor ran out and knocked both men out with his nightstick.  He then carried Brian to the back.

Bennett:  What the hell was that?

Hudson:  It seems that Ray is trying to be the police man of WCW.  First he helped Team Blood a few weeks ago and now Brian Christopher, who didn't even need help.

Bennett:  As long as I don't have to hear that old crappy Big Boss Man music again I don't really care Scott.

Hudson:  I agree there.  After this break our main event. Spike Dudley will be going one on one with Big Van Vader.

This match was controlled by Vader. Vader over powered and was a step ahead of Spike.  Spike had a blackened eye from the brawl between himself and Scott Steiner earlier.  Spike did come back after Vader missed a Vader Attack in the corner.  Spike hit a missile drop kick and went for the Acid Drop which Vader countered into a modified powerbomb.  He then hit the Vader Bomb.  This would have ended it but Vader wanted to punish Spike.  He went to the top for the moonsault but took too long and Spike moved.  Spike then hit the Acid Drop for the win.

Spike Dudley pinned Big Van Vader with the Acid Drop in 0:08:03.
Rating: * 3/4
(Spike Dudley retained the WCW World Title.)

Bennett:  DAMN IT!  Vader had it won had he not wanted to punish Spike, damn it to hell.

Hudson:  For Gene Bennett, Mike Tenay----

Bennett:  IT'S RHINO!!!

Rhino runs to the ring and Gores both Vader and Spike.  We go off the air with Rhino standing over both men holding both the Hardcore and World titles.
