Thunder comes on the air with footage of Bret Hart leaving WCW after not being able to make Jim Neidhart submit to the Sharpshooter.  We also see the brawls between the Dudley's, Sting, Scott Steiner and Booker T.  We then see the Dudley Boys become the new WCW Tag Team Champions.  We then go to the back where the Horsemen and friends are arriving. Rhino:  When do I get my damn title shot.  I want to break Spike Dudley's damn neck. Flair:  Spike?  I never said you would get a World Title shot Rhino.  Tonight you are going back to your roots.  Tonight you take on Steve Blackman and you become the Hardcore champion. Rhino:  Don't screw with me Flair! Rhino storms off and Dusty Rhodes comes out. Dusty:  Listen, things are really crazy here in WCW Flair and you haven't done anything.  The new OWNER wanted me to give you this. Dusty hands Flair and envelope.  Flair opens it and gets furious. Flair:  He can't do this. Dusty:  I am just the messenger. Jarrett:  What's wrong? Flair:  I have been fired.  I have until Bash at the Beach and then I am done.  Hennig:  Wait just a second Flair.  You made it sound really good to sign up for the Horsemen but without your power we aren't much. Flair:  Let's get out of here.  We will talk about this later Curt. We then go to the arena where The Mamalukes are taking on Danny Doring and Roadkill. This match wasn't much as before long the team of the Undertaker and Paul Wight hit the ring.  They completely destroyed all four men with chokeslams and powerbombs.  The Mamalukes and Danny Doring and Roadkill battled to a no contest in 0:03:00. Rating: * UT:  Vampiro, Gangrel, you want to try and play mind games with me?  You want to try and use the supernatural against me?  THE LORD OF DARKNESS! Suddenly the lights go out.  When they come back up the ring, the Undertaker and Paul Wight are covered in blood.  The lights go out again and the ropes burst into flames.  Vampiro and Gangrel then appear on the big screen. Vamp:  Mind games Dead Man?  Don't fool yourself, we aren't playing.  You have been the master of mind games until now.  Dead Man, when you and that giant goof next to you chokeslammed me the other day it opened my eyes.  I realized that what I had believed in was nothing but a fraud.  You aren't the Lord of Darkness Mark.  You are nothing but a boy trying to be a man by playing the devil.  Well Mark I don't play.  I am going to make your life a living hell boy.  UT:  Boy?  BOY?!  DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO? Vamp:  Yeah I do Mark.  I am talking to a man that doesn't know if he is the devil or a biker.  You are nothing but a man Mark.  Tonight the blood is fake.  Soon it will be your blood covering that ring Mark.  Get ready boys because we are coming. We go to break with Taker and Wight waiting for Gangrel and Vampiro.   After the break Vampiro's music hit but no one came out.   UT:  Come on tough guy.   Behind the Undertaker Vampiro and Gangrel come out from under the ring and attack the men and the match is on. The Undertaker was really dominated and singled out by Vamp and Gangrel.  The Undertaker did come back however and ended up hitting the Last Ride on Gangrel for the win.  The Big Show meanwhile was on the floor with Vamp.  He set up two tables and rolled Vamp into the ring.  He then came in and with the Undertaker they gave Vamp the Double Chokeslam to Hell over the top rope through both tables.  We then go to the announce table. Paul Wight and The Undertaker defeated Gangrel and Vampiro when Undertaker pinned Gangrel with the Last Ride in 0:08:28. Rating: ** Madden:  My God Vampiro is broken in half.   Tenay:  Welcome everyone to WCW Thunder.  I am Mike Tenay and you all know Mark Madden.  We have a lot to talk about.  Let's first talk about Nitro. Madden:  It might have been the biggest Nitro ever.  The Dudley's hold the top two titles in WCW now as Spike has the World Title and Buh Buh and D-Von are the tag champs.  Plus Bret Hart is out of WCW. Tenay:  Thanks to the quickest ten count I have ever seen in my life.  It made me sick to my damn stomach and Gene was right when he walked off.  Madden:  Within the last week, ever title has changed hands but the TV title.  Tenay:  That might change tonight as he takes on the crazy one Kanyon.  We also have Rhino taking on Steve Blackman.  Tony Mamaluke and Jaime Knoble clash for the Cruiserweight title as well.  And in our main event it will be The Dudley's Boys, along with Spike, taking on the New Hart Foundation and Jim Neidhart.  When we come back it will be the Hardcore title match. Rhino won the Hardcore title but it was a fight.  Blackman used his martial arts weapons while Rhino used trashcans, road signs and chairs.  Rhino busted Blackman open with a trash can.  The end came when Rhino powerbombed Blackman onto a trash can.  No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Rhino pinned Steve Blackman after a power bomb in 0:08:13. Rating: * (Rhino won the WCW Hardcore Title.) Madden:  Now that was a hard hitting match. Tenay:  Those guys will be feeling that match for days.   Madden:  Wait a minute, here comes Dusty Rhodes. Dusty:  For those of you who didn't see backstage, the current CEO has been given notice that he will no longer be in power as of Bash at the Beach.  I don't know what the owner has planned so I am going to lay down a few laws.  I want the Dudley Boys out here now. Tenay:  I don't think this is wise. The Dudley's come out. Dusty:  Now you got away with so called hardcore action in ECW and the WWF but not here.  Buh Buh:  Oh yeah?  Well I remember you used to be known for being the Bull of the Wood.  You and guys like Terry Funk and Mick Foley were hardcore before it was cool right?  Dusty:  Thats right. Buh Buh:  Well we took hardcore and made it EXTREME! Dusty:  Extreme, hardcore, whatever you want to call it you won't be doing it while I am around. D-Von:  Well you might not be around long if you mess with the Dudley's.  The Dudley commandments say thou shall not MESS with the Dudley's  Dusty:  Are you threatening me boy?  Because if you are I will take those titles from you right now. Spike:  Dusty, we don't make threats. Spike then kicks Dusty in the gut and gives him an Acid Drop.  The D-Von meanwhile slides a table into the ring.  They set up the table when security hits the ring.  Head of security Paul Oatman rolls Dusty out of the ring and turns around right into the 3D through the table.  Madden:  At least Doug Dillinger would have had a yelled at the Dudley's first.  Who hires security around here anyway? Tenay:  Come on Mark.  Paul didn't do anything but his job and look at him now. Madden:  Guess that shows that unemployment is sometimes better then nothing. Tenay:  When we come back the Cruiserweights will be in action. Knoble was able to retain his title.  Mamaluke came close on several occasions to reclaiming the title with high risk moves.  Mamaluke hit a running plancha on Knoble that had the crowd on it's feet.  Knoble moments later caught Mamaluke's moonsault attempt and hit the Tombstone for the win.  We then go to Dusty's office where he is being examined by trainer Michael Martin. Jaime Knoble pinned Tony Mamaluke with the Jumping Tombstone Piledriver in 0:08:17. Rating: ** 1/4 (Jaime Knoble retained the WCW Cruiserweight Title.) Dusty:  I am fine Mike, it takes more then some runt to keep me down. Shane Douglas then barges in. Douglas:  Rhodes, I want a rematch and I want it tonight. Dusty:  You just got here huh Shane? Douglas:  Yeah, what is your point? Dusty:  For one I just got my ass kicked and two Rhino just beat Steve for the title.  So you can't have a rematch. Douglas:  Then I want another title shot.  How about Disqo and the TV title? Dusty:  Nope, he is taking on Kanyon and Spike is in six man action.  The only champion not scheduled is Sting.  But he is now because you will be taking him on. Douglas:  Wait a second, I didn't want him. Dusty:  It's either that or pack your bags.   Douglas:  You got it Rhodes.  Tonight I take the US title. A new TV Champion was crowned as Kanyon took out the Dancing Fool Disqo.  The match was back and forth with both men getting near falls.  Disqo hit a piledriver and would have won probably had he made the cover right away instead of dancing first.  Kanyon hit a swinging Fisherman Suplex but somehow Disqo kicked out.  Disqo then hit a low blow and went for the Last Dance but Kanyon shoved him off.  Kanyon then kicked Disqo and went for the Kanyon Cutter but Disqo shoved him off.  Disqo went for a body slam but Kanyon floated over and Disqo turned into the Kanyon Cutter and Kanyon had the TV Title.  We then go to the back where Gene Bennett is with The New Foundation and Jim Neidhart. Kanyon pinned Disqo with the Kanyon Cutter in 0:08:06. Rating: ** 1/4 (Kanyon won the WCW TV Title.) Bennett:  First off let me get your reaction Jim to the fast count on Nitro. Neidhart:  Well---screw it.  Bret was screwed.  Someone is screwing around with our lives around here.  That wasn't the way it was suppose to happen. Owen:  Gene, it was like Montreal all over again.  I felt so helpless sitting in the back.  This isn't Owen the character speaking this is Owen the brother.  I don't know what is going on but it sucks. Bennett:  Well tonight you must continue your careers without Bret as you take on the Dudley's Storm:  I don't know how, but they have something to do with what is going on around here.  Tonight we beat it out of them. Bennett:  Up next six man tag team action. The Dudley's come out on top as the World Champion cheated once again to win.  This was intense as the Hart Foundation blamed the Dudley's for what happened to Bret.  Early on it was a six man brawl with everyone hitting everyone.  This was chaos but the official was able to get control.  Owen and Lance made quick tags keeping D-Von in the ring.  Finally it was a hot tag to Buh Buh that once again erupted a six man brawl.  During this time Storm was thrown to the floor and twisted his knee.  Trainer Michael Martin came out and started to help him to the back when the Dudley's attacked Storm on the ramp.  Owen tried to come down but was meet with a chair shot while in the ring Spike hit the Acid Drop for the win.  On the ramp the Dudley's worked on Storm's knee.  Owen meanwhile was crawling to help his partner.  D-Von picked up Owen and tossed him off the ramp onto the hard pavement several feet below with a thud.  The Dudley's then returned to working on Storm's knee.  Ever time the trainer tried to get to Storm the Dudley's would throw him down.  Finally Martin just dove onto Storm's knee hoping the Dudley's would stop.  They however picked him up and gave him 3D on the ramp before kicking him off the ramp.  In the ring Spike had given Neidhart two more Acid Drops.  In the ring Spike placed and chair.  The Dudley's set it up and gave Storm a 3D onto the chair.  Spike then placed the chair around Storm's ankle and proceeded to stomp it several times before finally security came out.  The Dudley's then went to the back but not before D-Von grabbed the mic. D-Von:  THOU SHALL NOT F*CK WITH THE DUDLEY'S! The Dudley Boys and Spike Dudley defeated The New Hart Foundation and Jim Neidhart when Spike pinned Neidhart with the Acid Drop in 0:11:22. Rating: ** 1/4 Madden:  I am all for intense action but this is sick.  Look at the carnage.  Owen, Jim, Lance and even the trainer Michael are all out.  Here comes the EMT's. Tenay:  Storm's knee and ankle might be destroyed.  We will be back. After the break we see two ambulances leaving the building.  We then go to Gene who is with Sting. Bennett:  Sting, we have just seen the must brutal attack in WCW history. Sting:  Dudley's, I hope you are listening to me right now.  I promise you that you will pay for what you have done here tonight.  But first I have to deal with Shane Douglas. Bennett:  Why would Dusty give Shane a title shot here tonight do you think Sting? Sting:  He knows I am a fighting champion and I never back down from a challenge.  Tonight Shane, IT'S SHOWTIME!! We have a new US Champion thanks to the interference of C.W. Anderson.  Sting really dominated Douglas but as he was going for a Stinger Splash the official H.C. Loc got in the way and went down.  This is when Chris Candido hit the ring.  Candido tried to attack Sting but he was ready.  He disposed of Candido shortly with the Scorpion Death Drop.  Sting didn't see C.W. Anderson come out.  Sting ran toward Douglas for a second Stinger Splash but was caught by C.W. and hit with the Anderson Spinebuster.  Douglas picks a stunned Sting up and gives him the Franchiser and gets the win. Shane Douglas pinned Sting with the Franchiser in 0:06:47. Rating: ** 3/4 (Shane Douglas won the WCW United States Title.) Madden:  A NEW CHAMPION!  I know Shane could do it. Tenay:  I could have swore that the official saw C.W. interfere. Madden:  Doesn't matter, we have a new champion! Tenay:  What night, see you all on Nitro.
