Nitro comes on the air with stills from Slamboree.  We see Booker T hitting the scissor kick.  We see Disqo, Gangrel and Just Joe all holding their new titles.  We also see a still of the newly former Four Horsemen.  We then go to the announce table where Mark Madden is with a beaten and battered Scott Hudson. Madden:  Welcome to Nitro everyone.  I am the best looking big man on TV, Mark Madden, along with Hardway Scott Hudson. Hudson:  Very funny Mark.  I am sorry that I missed the pay per view last night but I am back tonight.  Tonight Disqo takes on Chris Candido for his newly won TV title.  Also Jaime Knoble and Brian Christopher in singles action.  The Hardcore title will be on the line also. The Horsemen music plays as the Horsemen come to the ring. Madden:  Here they come, the most powerful group in WCW today.   Flair:  WHOO!  Look at this group of men behind me.  I have three of the best wrestlers in the world watching my back now.  I don't care who this mystery man is.  The Horsemen are back!  WHOO!! Jarrett:  Hello all my little slapnuts.  Tonight I want to give warning to two guys in the back.  That is Lance Storm and Owen Hart.  You two have had those titles long enough.  The Horsemen dominated tag team wrestling when Arn and Tully were champions and they will do the same when Curt and I are the champions. Hennig:  You all know the feud I had with Ric Flair.  You all remember when I took the door to the war games cage and nearly crushed his head.  Well now we are back together and nothing can stop us.  Arn:  When you look in this ring you see the best wrestling has to offer today.  The young stars can complain about guys like myself and Ric still being here.  They can say we hold them back.  Well there is a reason we are still here and that is because no one can get rid of us.  We are just that much better then everyone else. Suddenly Danny Doring and Roadkill's music plays. Doring:  Hold it right there old man.  Now I know my history and know what you and your family has meant to this sport.  The Four Horsemen were the most influential group in wrestling history.  But saying you are better then everyone else is wrong.  As for Curt and Jeff going for the tag team titles, we have a big problem with that.  You see, those belts should be ours.  We were screwed last night and tonight we begin our climb back again.  So tonight Jeff and Curt why don't you meet us in the ring.  Unless of course your--- Roadkill:  CHICKENS!   Jarrett:  You Amish slapass, no one calls the Horsemen chickens.  You got it boys.  Hennig:  Prepare to be PERFECTLY destroyed. Madden:  A big tag team match tonight. Hudson:  That match could put Danny and Roadkill on the map as a team.  After the break we will have our first contest as the former TV Champion Shane Douglas faces Bill DeMott. Bill DeMott pinned Shane Douglas with the No Laughing Matter in 0:06:20. Rating: * 1/2 Bill DeMott got a big win over former TV Champion Shane Douglas in our opening match.  It was back and forth but DeMott hit a powerslam followed by the No Laughing Matter for the win.  Madden:  Shane Douglas seemed lost out there without the TV Title Scott. Hudson:  He really did Mark.  It was a big win for Bill though.  Perhaps it is time for him start focusing on winning titles again.  Let's go to the back where Mean Gene is with Scott Taylor. Mean:  Scott Taylor, last night along with Lash LeRoux and Bill DeMott you got a win over the FBI.  Where do you go from here?  Taylor:  I think that the cruiserweight title would look good around my waist again.  So Just Joe, get ready for some comp--- Out of nowhere The Man Beast Rhino gores Scott Taylor.  Rhino starts putting the boots to Taylor.  Mean Gene turns to run but Midajah is in his way.  Rhino grabs Mean Gene. Rhino:  WHERE ARE YOU GOING YOU LITTLE BITCH! Mean:  LET GO OF ME!   Rhino:  Oh I will let go of you alright.   Rhino puts Gene in position to gore him when Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart show up.  Neidhart stands in Rhino's way while Bret pulls Gene way.  Rhino turns to Bret but is meet with a low blow from Hart.  Bret and Jim then begin to beat down the Man Beast when Owen and Lance show up.  They attack the Hart Foundation.  The door which Scott Taylor was gored into opens and we see the Sting monster truck on the other side with Sting standing on the hood.  The champs and Rhino make a quick retreat as we go to break. After the break we see Lash LeRoux and Bill DeMott getting into an ambulance with Scott Taylor.  We then go to Mean Gene with The Hart Foundation and Sting. Mean:  First let me start by thanking you once again Bret.  I don't know what I did to that monster Rhino but his lawyer will be hearing from me. Bret:  Don't mention it Gene.  I want Rhino in the ring tonight.  I don't care how. Jim:  Bret, we have a title match tonight.  This is going to be the night we get our titles back. Mean:  Well then Sting, will you be facing Rhino tonight?  You have to want some revenge after what happened last night. Sting:  I was attacked not once but twice last night.  I was choked out and left for dead.  Rhino, if you think I have forgotten that you are wrong.  Tonight our paths will cross. Ric Flair walks into the scene. Flair:  I heard you mouthing off about wanting Rhino Bret.  I also heard you whining about your title match Jim.  Well tonight Jim you will be facing the New Hart Foundation along with Rhino in six man tag action with Sting as your partner.  WHOO! Flair, Sting and Hart all leave.  We then hear Neidhart mutter about Sting messing with his business as we go to break. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Gangrel defeated Vampiro via pinfall in 0:08:16. Rating: ** 1/4 (Gangrel retained the WCW Hardcore Title.) In the second match of the night Gangrel defended his newly won Hardcore title against Vampiro.  This match went back and forth several times.  The ended up going into the back where it soon became a free for all.  Ray Traylor was laying in wait for Gangrel and soon with the help of Vampiro had Gangrel down.  This brought in Kanyon who came to the aid of Gangrel.  Kanyon and Traylor fought out of sight.  The two men then fought further into the arena.  Gangrel seemed ready to hit the Impaler when Rhino showed up.  Rhino continued his random attacks by attacking Gangrel.  He knocked Gangrel down and went for the gore but Gangrel leapfrogged him and Rhino gored Vamp.  Gangrel quickly made the cover and got the win.  Rhino picked up Vamp and gave him a piledriver in the back as we went to break.  After the break we are at the announce table. Madden:  Rhino is a crazy man folks.  There is no rhyme or reason to his attacks. Hudson:  I agree with you there Mark.  Thank god WCW brass had the balls to stand up to him even though our CEO didn't.  Madden:  Tenay had some bad things to say about the Nature Boss and now you are mouthing off too Scott.  I would be careful if I were you.  The boss might come out here and fire your ass. Hudson:  He is lucky I don't sue this damn company after what happened last Thursday.  Let's get to the ring where Jaime Knoble is facing Brian Christopher. Jaime Knoble pinned Brian Christopher with the Jumping Tombstone Piledriver in 0:05:15. Rating: ** 1/4 Former cruiserweight champion Jaime Knoble looked good as he returned to that division.  He and Brian had great chemistry in the ring and the fans responded to that.  The end saw Christopher try for a Tombstone only to have Knoble counter into his own version and get the win.  After the match Rhino's rage continued as both Knoble and Christopher were gored. Hudson:  Hopefully tonight either Sting or the Hart Foundation will end Rhino's reign of terror.  Someone has to.  Madden:  Well personally as long as he doesn't touch me I don't care.  I actually find it rather interesting. Hudson:  You are a sick man.  Let's go to the back where Terry Taylor is taking over for Mean Gene who has left the building. Taylor:  Thank you Scott.  I am here with Disqo who is preparing for his TV title defense.  Disqo, tonight you face off with another Triple Threat member in Chris Candido. Disqo:  Terry, last night was about earning respect.  Tonight and the rest of my wrestling career will be about keeping that respect.  I will fight anyone for this title.  This title means everything to me right now. Taylor:  Up next Disqo takes on Chris Candido for the TV Title. Disqo pinned Chris Candido with the Last Dance in 0:07:32. Rating: ** 1/2 (Disqo retained the WCW TV Title.) Disqo retained his title over Triple Threat member Chris Candido in a back and forth match.  The fans were once again into this match and responded to both men.  Early on Shane Douglas distracted Disqo from ringside.  In the end Shane Douglas, CW Anderson, Tammy and Chris all took Last Dances from Disqo on his road to victory. Madden:  I can't believe Disqo just beat up a girl. Hudson:  Are you kidding me?  She had no damn business getting in the ring and attacking him that way.  Madden:  She is a delicate flower.  I can't believe it. Hudson:  After the break we will see Just Joe take on Little Guido.  Delicate flower my ass. Just Joe pinned Little Guido Maritato after a small package in 0:05:08. Rating: 3/4* (Just Joe retained the WCW Cruiserweight Title.) Just Joe defeated FBI member Tony Mamaluke last night and then Little Guido tonight to keep his newly won Cruiserweight title.  Guido dominated Joe and had him beat about two minutes into the match but pulled him up several times.  Guido went for a brainbuster but it was countered into a small package and Joe kept his title. Hudson:  A week ago I would have been shocked, but Joe just keeps winning. Madden:  The FBI is on one hell of a losing streak.  At one point they seemed set to take WCW by storm. Hudson:  Well they might still.  The Mamalukes or Tony and Guido could still run for the tag team titles. Madden:  Here comes RHINO!!! Hudson:  My God lets go to break and get Sting and the Hart Foundation ready. After the break we see Lance Storm, Rhino and Owen Hart in the ring. Owen:  WHOO!  Look here all you stupid fans.  We still got our belts.   Storm:  We proved that we are the greatest tag team in WCW when he beat the top three teams here.  We don't sing and we don't dance.  What we do is wrestle. Owen:  Now we have a monster with us to take out my rotten brother and rotten brother in law.  So bring out the mime from hell with you. The New Hart Foundation and Rhino defeated The Hart Foundation and Sting when Rhino made Neidhart submit to the Rhino Recliner in 0:03:22. Rating: ** In a short but intense match Rhino took his team and got the win.  Sting and Bret were on the outside fighting with Owen and Lance.  On the inside Rhino beat the hell out of Jim Neidhart.  Rhino gored Neidhart twice before locking him into the Rhino Recliner.  Neidhart was actually choked out before Sting broke it up.  We go to break with EMT's checking on Jim. After the break we see Bret Hart getting into an ambulance with Jim Neidhart.  Sting watches the ambulance leave.  He turns and gets gored.  Rhino locks him into Rhino Recliner.  Security pry him off.  Sting lays motionless while the trainer checks on him. Hudson:  Someone needs to stop him before someone gets seriously hurt.  Scott Taylor, Vampiro, Jaime Knoble, Brian Christopher, Jim Neidhart and Sting have all been gored and injured at the hands of this monster.  Where in the hell is the CEO! The Horsemen theme plays as Ric Flair comes out. Flair:  I am right here Hudson.  I have heard what you have been saying about me and let me say that your contract is being reviewed right now.  Why aren't you an announcer that is more like Mr. Madden here.  But I am not out here to talk to you though Hudson.  I am out here to introduce the next tag team champions The Chosen One Jeff Jarrett and The Perfect One Curt Hennig! Hennig, Jarrett and Anderson come to the ring and is meet with a mixed reaction.  Flair:  Doring, Roadkill, get your asses out here to take the beating you asked for. Curt Hennig and Jeff Jarrett defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill when Curt Hennig pinned Doring with the Hennig Plex in 0:04:17. Rating: 1/4* It wasn't much of a match as Flair and Anderson continually interfered.  The end saw Jarrett hit low blow on Danny Doring setting up the Hennig Plex while Flair and Anderson double teamed Roadkill. After the match Flair grabbed the mic. Flair:  A few weeks ago a man by the name of Scott Steiner attacked my son and threatened the rest of my family.  I will not allow this to happen in WCW. Scott Steiner, you are the US champion, a title I have held several times in my career.  I am going to make you the hardest working US Champ ever.  Tonight it starts with the greatest wrestler of all time, ME!  WHOO!  Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that you will also have the shortest reign in history as well. After the break Scott Steiner came down.  As he came down Dusty Rhodes music began to play.  Dusty:  Hold it right there Nature Boy.  You say you are the greatest of all time?  Now you might be a 16 time world champion, but that means you lost that title 17 times.  Tonight I am here for one reason and that is to watch Scott's back.  Oh yeah, I got a phone fall and I am now the NEW commissioner here in WCW so I am ordering the rest of the Horsemen to the back.  Flair:  WHO SAID YOU WERE THE DAMN COMMISSIONER!? Dusty:  Let's just say it someone who has something against the Horsemen from the past.  Now the rest of you get to the back or you won't be the Horsemen in WCW. Scott Steiner pinned Ric Flair after a cross-body block in 0:07:09. Rating: ** 3/4 (Scott Steiner retained the WCW United States Title.) With the Horsemen gone, Dusty Rhodes at ringside and the thought of someone more powerful then himself in WCW Flair was off a beat.  The match did go back and forth and it seemed that Flair was ready to win.  He went for one of his back suplexs that set up the Figure Four, but Scott shifted his weight and Flair got counted down and lost his chance at the title.  We then go to the back where Booker T is in his locker room and William Regal comes in. Booker:  What in the hell do you want. Regal:  Listen here sunshine.  When I was the British Heavyweight champion I was the number one contender yet I never got the chance to get a title shot.  So tonight I am ask, nay demanding a title shot.  Booker:  I haven't dodged anyone since I became champion so get ready.  After I beat you though, Don't hate the player----HATE THE GAME!!! Spike Dudley pinned Big Van Vader with the Acid Drop in 0:09:51. Rating: ** 1/2 Lil' Spike Dudley continued his upset streak as he took out the man that just last night was number one contender.  Vader dominated the match but couldn't seem to put Spike away.  Vader went for the powerbomb but Spike slipped out, gave Vader a low blow and hit the Acid Drop for the win. Madden:  Will the upsets never end?   Hudson:  Spike could very well be the be up next for a title shot after that win.  Madden:  He is also in line for a beating at the hands of Vader now.   Hudson:  Up next it will be Booker T defending against William Regal. Booker T pinned William Regal with the Book End in 0:08:09. Rating: *** (Booker T retained the WCW World Title.) This match went back and forth with Regal actually getting the upper hand.  During the match the official went down.  Regal went and got a chair and knocked Booker T out.  He then went for the cover.  With the official down the Big Show lumbered to the ring.  He pulled William Regal off and gave him the Showstopper.  He pulled Booker over Regal and left.  The official slowly made the count and Booker kept his title. Madden:  This match is just as bad as the entire night.  This night was terrible. Hudson:  Who cared what you think Mark, this night was one of the best we have had.  For Mean Gene, Terry Taylor and Mark Madden, I am Scott Hudson, see you on Thunder.
