Thunder comes on the air with footage of the main event on Nitro. We see both Ric Flair and Booker T out after the match and Disqo and Jarrett beating on Booker T. We then go to the announce table where Gene Bennett is with Mark Madden.
Bennett: Hello everyone, and welcome to Thunder. I am Gene Bennett filling in for Scott Hudson along with Mark Madden. Mark, tonight might be the biggest night in Thunder history.
Madden: That's right, every title is on the line. The Chosen One Jeff Jarrett once again becomes World Champion tonight.
Bennett: That is if he beats Booker T. Also it is the battle of the Anderson's as C.W. faces Arn for the TV Title. For the Cruiserweight title it is Tony Mamaluke taking on Scott Taylor, Just Joe and Jaime Knoble.
Madden: We will also see Scott Steiner try to get revenge on Disqo for what he did last week. Curt Hennig, Spike Dudley and William Regal all get a shot at Big Van Vader and his US title.
Bennett: All that plus a four-way tag team match for a chance to face the tag champs at Nitro on Monday. The Hart Foundation takes on Mortis and the Undertaker. Rhino and Ray Traylor in a hardcore match after Rhino gored Traylor on Nitro
Madden: Don't forget Sting and Vampiro Gene. This is a loaded Thunder here tonight. Let's get to the ring for our opening match, the TV title on the line.
Arn Anderson pinned C.W. Anderson with the Spinebuster in 0:07:12.

In the battle of the Andersons Double A kept the TV Title but it was a hard fought match. The end saw Chris Candido and Shane Douglas show up at ringside and try to interfere. Shane missed with a chain and hit CW instead and that set up the Spinebuster from Arn. The Triple Threat then attacked Arn. Shane hit a belly to belly followed by the flying headbutt from Candido. Disqo then ran out from the back to try and help but the numbers were too much he soon found himself in the same situation. Then Jeff Jarrett and Ric Flair came out and the Triple Threat bailed out. Flair then grabbed the mic.
Flair: SHANE DOUGLAS! You work for me you son of a bitch. At Spring Stampede you three men are going to be facing the three of us.
Douglas: What about that dancing jackass? Don't you want him on your team?
Flair: Oh he will be in the match, as the ref, WHOO!
Douglas: Why don't you be a man and put that TV title on the line. Why don't we say the winner of the fall becomes the TV Champ.
Flair: You want it you got it. I have waited a long time to finish all this between us. At Spring Stampede will be a start.
Douglas: Flair, you jackass, prepare to get your ass Franchised!
Bennett: We just had another match signed for Spring Stampede Mark.
Madden: This pay per view might be the biggest yet for WCW.
Bennett: After the break is the Hardcore match between Rhino and Ray Traylor.
Hardcore Match:
Rhino made Ray Traylor submit to the Rhino Recliner in 0:03:36.

Rhino completely destroyed Ray Traylor in this hardcore match, and even used his Rhino Recliner to finish him off. He wouldn't release the hold however and this brought out Scott Steiner. Steiner gave Rhino a vicious Steinerline that sent Rhino to the floor Steiner then grabbed the mic.
Steiner: Rhino, I am so damn sick of you. At Spring Stampede our match is going to a Recliner match. The only way to win the match is to lock in the Recliner. Rhino, you will be my freak in four days.
Bennett: This pay per view just gets better and better.
Madden: Scott Steiner is a genetic freak, but Rhino is the man beast, who knows who will win this match.
Bennett: Well here comes Disqo for his match with Steiner, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
Madden: Who would, he is just a jackass.
Scott Steiner made Disqo submit to the Steiner Recliner in 0:04:33.

Steiner much like Rhino dominated his opponent tonight on the eve of their big collision. Disqo was just out muscled in this match.
Madden: I told you that bugle beak is a loser.
Bennett: Well I think Disqo was expecting some help from Flair and his buddies but they haven't helped him once. Disqo is getting conned I think.
Madden: Couldn't happen to a better guy.
Bennett: Up next the four way dance for the Cruiserweight title.

Tony Mamaluke proved that he is the top cruiserweight here in WCW. Not only did he win the match, but he also defeated two former champions and did all the eliminating.
Bennett: It doesn't get any better then that kind of action Mark.
Madden: I love the cruiserweight division, do you realize that the two of us probably weight together weight more then those four combined.
Bennett: Yeah, it's a good thing there isn't a weight limit for the broadcast team, because we would be over it for sure. Lets go to the back where Mike Tenay is with Curt Hennig.
Tenay: Curt Hennig, tonight you get another shot at the US Title as you enter a four way dance.
Hennig: Mike, that's Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig to you.
Tenay: Terribly sorry.
Hennig: Tonight I become the US Champion which will be just a stepping stone to the world title. Now that's----PERFECT!
Tenay: Up next, the US Title match.

This match was really a highlight of William Regal's skills. Regal not only defeated Spike Dudley and Mr. Perfect but he should have beat Vader. The official went down right before Regal locked in the Regal Stretch. Vader tapped out and Regal released the hold thinking he won the match. When he realized that he hadn't he turned around right into a clothesline that nearly took his head off. Vader quickly hit the Vader Bomb and got the win. Vader took his belt and left while Regal argued with the ref.
After the break we see Mean Gene with William Regal.
Mean: William, you just lost the US title even though you made Big Van Vader tap out.
Regal: Listen here you bloody little man shut your mouth and listen. That miserable little toe rag Vader just stole that title from. Vader if you have the guts face me one on one at Spring Stampede sunshine.
Bennett: Yet another match for Spring Stampede signed Mark.
Madden: Well Regal must be dumber then I thought if he wants Vader one more time.
Bennett: Did we just want the same damn match? Regal is the uncrowned US Champ.
Madden: He isn't even American.
Bennett: Lets get to the ring where the four way tag team match is about to take place.

The New Hart Foundation will get a second chance at the tag titles this Monday as they defeated three teams. The first pin came when the Triple Threats leader Shane Douglas hit the Franchiser after Roadkill missed the Amish Splash to eliminate that team. Moments later Storm and Hart hit the Hart Attack and eliminated Christopher and Blackman. The final fall came because Douglas was distracted by Ric Flair on the ramp. This allowed Owen to hit an enziguri followed by the Hart Attack for the win.
The Hart Foundation defeated The Ministry (Mortis and The Undertaker)
when B. Hart pinned Undertaker after the Hart Attack in 0:05:38.

The Hart Foundation won this match with little problem. The Ministry seems to be losing steam since Sting and Hogan both left it. Mortis accidently hit the Undertaker with his staff setting up the Hart Attack and the win for the Hart Foundation.
Bennett: Well it looks like Bret will get his hands on his rotten little brother one more time on Nitro Mark.
Madden: Well this time the New Hart Foundation will get the win. They were just a little off on Nitro this week. Next week it will be all Owen and Lance, they will make me proud to be Canadian.
Bennett: Canadian my fat ass, after the break Sting and Vampiro.
Sting pinned Vampiro with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:07:47.

Sting and Vamp tore into each other like two wild dogs. The hatred between the Ministry and Sting really showed in this match. The end came when Vamp went for the Nail in the Coffin. Sting floated over and hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. We then go to the back where Mike Tenay is with the World Champ.
Tenay: Booker T in just a minute you face off with Jeff Jarrett for that world title.
Booker: Mike, I am looking forward to it. On Nitro that man hit me in the head with a guitar for no good reason. Tonight I show him why I have the title.
Tenay: Do you expect any of his new found friends will be at ringside?
Booker: Well I'm not sure where Flair's head is. One minute he talks about his WCW and then we have a gang attack from him moments later. Tonight he better just say in the back or he will get his ass kicked too. Don't hate the player-hate the game!
Booker T pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Book End in 0:12:06.

This match went back and forth from the start. Then we saw The Triple Threat come to ringside which was soon followed by Disqo, Arn Anderson and Ric Flair. The match then became almost a lumberjack match with those six men at ringside. The end came when Jarrett went for the Stroke but Booker countered with a back elbow. He then quickly hit the Book End and got the win. From there a brawl broke loose. The Triple Threat and Flair's group started a brawl. Then we saw the Ministry and Sting hit the ring and then the entire locker room emptied.
Bennett: We are in the way here Mark. We are on the battle field.
Madden: They are fighting all around us folks, we can't even get to the back.
Bennett: As we leave the air you are going to see the graphics for the teams at Battle Bowl folks. We will see you in four days at Spring Stampede.
