Nitro comes on the air with footage of Shane Douglas, Chris Candido and CW Anderson debuting on Thunder.  We also see Disqo get destroyed by The Big Show.  We then go to the announce table where Gene Bennett is with Scott Hudson.

Bennett:  On Thunder we saw the Triple Threat debut here in WCW.  Tonight all three men will be in action, first C.W. Anderson takes on Disqo.  And in tag action Candido and Douglas face off with the new team of Steve Blackman and Brian Christopher.

Hudson:  Also I understand the Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig and Spike Dudley take on Big Van Vader and William Regal.  The TV Champion Arn Anderson takes on Mortis for the TV Title.

Bennett:  Also I understand the New Hart Foundation get what they want, a tag title shot tonight here on Nitro.

Hudson:  And in our main event, the CEO Ric Flair faces Booker T tonight for the title.  Let's go to the ring for our first match.

Vampiro pinned Jaime Knoble with the Nail In the Coffin in 0:06:46.
Rating: ** 1/2

The opening match saw Vampiro and Jaime Knoble lock up.  The cruiserweights have all been on what you would call a losing streak here in WCW.  This streak continued as Vamp drove Knoble into the mat with the Nail in the Coffin for the win.  We then go to the back where Disqo is with Ric Flair.

Disqo:  First I face the Big Show on Thunder, and now you are making face a man we haven't even seen in the ring here in WCW?

Flair:  Listen kid, you impress me, you really do.  And tonight you face a man that is just stealing Double A's gimmick.  Tonight you teach guys like Shane Douglas and company that this is MY WCW.

Disqo:  So does that mean you and Arn and Jeff have my back?

Flair:  Oh yeah kid, we sure do.

Curt Hennig and Spike Dudley defeated Big Van Vader and William Regal when Spike Dudley pinned Regal with the Acid Drop in 0:08:59.
Rating: *** 1/4

The team of Curt Hennig and Spike Dudley were victorious here over the odd team of Vader and William.  The match was back and forth and it was a very good match.  The end came during a four-way brawl.  Hennig had Vader back into the corner and Spike hit the Acid Drop on Regal by running up Vader's chest and got the win.  Vader tried to attack Hennig and Dudley after the match but they quickly left.  Vader then took out his frustrations on William Regal giving him a powerbomb and a Vader Bomb before leaving.

Bennett:  Vader can't like what just happened in that ring.  He hasn't tasted defeat too many times and that time wasn't even his fault.

Hudson:  Are you condoning what he just did to William Regal Gene?

Bennett:  Not at all, but it was done because Vader was upset about the loss, and I would be too.

Hudson:  After the break I we will see the WCW debut of C.W. Anderson.

C.W. Anderson pinned Disqo with the Spinebuster Slam in 0:07:20.
Rating: ** 1/4

In C.W.'s debut he and Disqo had a great match.  It went back and forth and it seems that Disqo's shaky relationship with the CEO has lit a fire under him.  Disqo was about to hit the Last Dance when Shane Douglas and Chris Candido come out distracting him.  Disqo turned around right into a savate kick from C.W.  Moments later Disqo was hit with the Spinebuster for the win.  Shane and Chris then entered the ring and together the Triple Threat were laying a beating down on Disqo.  Shane gave Disqo a vicious belly to belly followed by Candido's flying headbutt.  They then leave Disqo out in the ring as we go to break.

Arn Anderson pinned Mortis after a DDT in 0:07:43.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Arn Anderson retained the WCW TV Title.)

Arn Anderson had a hell of a time defeating Mortis in this match.  Mortis gave Double A a run for his money, but wasn't up to the challenge.  The end came when Mortis set too early for a backdrop and got hit with the DDT and Arn got the win.  We then go to the back.  In the back we see a bloody Disqo enter Ric Flair's office.

Disqo:  Where the hell were you Flair?  This is twice you have done this to me. Are you getting off by watching me get beat up?

Flair:  Hold up kid, hold it right there.  We were just about to come out when they left.  Listen, I am very high on you, and you are going to be a star, just stick with me.

Bennett:  Disqo doesn't believe that does he?  I mean he is getting screwed by Flair and company I think.

Hudson:  Well Disqo best keep with Flair because he is a star maker I think Gene.

Bennett:  Whatever Hudson.  Up next the new team of Steve Blackman and Brian Christopher take on Chris Candido and Shane Douglas.

Chris Candido and Shane Douglas defeated Steve Blackman and Brian Christopher when Candido pinned Blackman with the Flying Headbutt in 0:06:59.
Rating: **

The Triple Threat are on a roll here in WCW as they defeated their opponents.  Brian and Steve however did have great team work but the end came when C.W. Anderson interfered setting up a belly to belly from Shane and a flying headbutt from Candido and the win.

Danny Doring and Roadkill defeated Lash LeRoux and Bill DeMott when Doring pinned DeMott with the Danaconda in 0:04:25.
Rating: *

Doring and Roadkill won their first match here in WCW as they defeated DeMott and LeRoux.  This match was not the best, but a good showing for both teams.

Jeff Jarrett pinned Just Joe with the Stroke in 0:03:32.
Rating: ** 1/4

Just Joe nearly defeated Jeff Jarrett about a minute into this match with a small package.  After that Jarrett was like a mad man beating on Joe.  After the match Joe got hit with a guitar for good measure.

Hardcore Match:
Scott Steiner made Ray Traylor submit to the Steiner Recliner in 0:07:10.
Rating: ** 1/4

Scott Steiner showed that he is just as hardcore as Ray Traylor.  This match went back and forth and all over the building.  Traylor tried to hit his Traylor Park Trash Slam but Steiner countered with a DDT and then locked in the Steiner Recliner in the back for the win.  After the match Rhino gored both men and then locked Steiner into his version of the Steiner Recliner.  Sting then came out of nowhere for the save.

Sting:  Rhino, get your ass to the ring, because IT'S SHOW TIME!!

Sting pinned Rhino with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:06:33.
Rating: **

Sting got a big win as he defeated Rhino.  This match had interference all over the place.  Vampiro came out and attacked Sting, but he fought him off.  Moments later it was the Undertaker who interfered.  During all this Steiner came out and attacked Rhino.  The end came when Rhino tried to gore Sting in the corner.  Sting moved and Rhino hit the post.  Sting quickly hit the Scorpion Death Drop and got the win.  We then go to the back where Mike Tenay is with the New Hart Foundation.

Tenay:  Owen, Lance, moments from now you get what you wanted, a tag team title match.

Owen:  As the King of Hart's it is my destiny.  I have already held the World title and the Tag Titles once, and we both know who carried that team.

Storm:  Mike, I was born to wrestle and bred to win.  While it was Bret and his family that trained me, it is my skills that got me to WCW.  Tonight I get the titles I shouldn't have lost.

Tenay:  Not to sound like I don't believe you, but the Hart Foundation is a well-oiled machine.

Owen:  What are we?  We are the greatest team ever to have a Hart in it.  Tonight I prove why I am the King of Harts, WHOO!

The Hart Foundation defeated The New Hart Foundation when B. Hart pinned L. Storm after the Hart Attack in 0:10:19.
Rating: *** 1/4
(The Hart Foundation retained the WCW Tag Team Titles.)

Owen and Lance came up just short in this match.  Several times it looked like the New Hart Foundation would get the win, they even hit the Hart Attack on Neidhart.  However the team work of Jim and Bret was too much.  The end came when Storm fell victim to the original Hart Attack and got pinned.  After the match Owen and Storm attacked the original Hart Attack and locked them into the Sharpshooter and the Maple Leaf before security broke it up.  We then go to the back where we see Ric Flair and Disqo leaving his office.

Flair:  You know what to do right D?

Disqo:  Yeah, but shouldn't you do this on your own? I mean this is the World Title, and you are the Nature Boy.

Flair:  That's right, and that is why I deserve the title, just do like I said.

Disqo:  Ok boss.

Booker T and Ric Flair battled to a double countout in 0:08:23.
Rating: **
(Booker T retained the WCW World Title.)

This match went back and forth in the ring.  The end however came on the outside.  On the outside we saw Disqo come out and try to attack Booker but Booker was on top of it.  While Booker was fighting Disqo Ric Flair tired to attack Booker but he took a Book End.  Disqo again tried to attack Booker but the official held him back.  While the official and Disqo argued Jeff Jarrett came through the crowd and hit Booker with the guitar.  The official finally just went into the ring and counted out both men.  We leave the air with Disqo and Jarrett attacking Booker T.
