Thunder comes on the air with footage from Nitro.  We see Little Guido defeat the Cruiserweight champion in a non-title match.  We also see Jeff Jarrett help Ric Flair defeat the Big Show.  We also see Mike Awesome win the US Title.  We then go to footage taped earlier today.

In the office of CEO Ric Flair we see Flair doing paper work.  Suddenly the is kicked in and Little Guido barges in.

Guido:  Listen up Flair, on Monday I proved that I could be the cruiserweight title if I wanted to.  Tonight I want a shot at a bigger and better title.  Tonight I want that Canadian Lance Storm in the ring.

Flair:  Hold it right there Guido, you don't just barge into my office and demand stuff.  However I will give you the shot because I want to have the best Thunder ever.  So hurry up and get ready cause your match is first.

We then go to the ring where Lance Storm is locking up with Little Guido.

Little Guido Maritato pinned Lance Storm with the Kiss of Death in 0:07:19.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Little Guido Maritato won the WCW TV Title.)

In one of the most technical matches ever in WCW this was wrestling lesson for youngsters.  Early on they exchanged moves and reversals in the ring.  Finally Guido got angry and took a short cut by giving Storm a low blow.  Guido then took over and nearly got the win with his fujiwara armbar.  Guido missed a flying leg drop and Storm locked in the Maple Leaf.  Big Sal got up on the apron and Storm released the hold.  Storm then went to work on the big head of Sal.  This gave Guido time to lock in the Kiss of Death and got the victory and the TV Title.  After the match Sal came into the ring and gave Storm a big splash as we go to break.

After the break we find Mark Madden with Little Guido.

Madden:  Guido you came in here as a tag team.  You were nearly tag team champions on several occasions.  But since going single you have been on a roll.  You defeated the Cruiserweight champion on Nitro and tonight you defeated one of the greats in Lance Storm for that TV Title.

Guido:  That's right Sal, wait you aren't Sal.  Sorry about that Sal, didn't mean to insult you.  Madden, as TV Champion that means I have to take on all comers, which is fine with me.  I don't care who they are.  Everyone has looked at me as a joke, as a comedy act.  Well who's laughing now?  Come one, come all.

Madden:  Your new TV Champion, Little Guido Maritato.

We now see footage of the brawl between Jim Neidhart and Paul Wight on Nitro during the Hart/Hogan match.  We then go to the ring to see the two face off.

Paul Wight pinned Jim Neidhart with the Showstopper in 0:03:49.
Rating: *

It wasn't a classic but it was hard hitting.  Both men threw the official down when he tried to break up the fight.  This brought out Owen Hart.  He gave Neidhart his enziguri that knocked Neidhart right into the Showstopper for the win.  After the match Show and Owen mocked the Hart Foundation by giving Neidhart their version of the Hart Attack.  Then from the back out ran Bret Hart with a chair.  Owen and Wight left quickly.

Bret:  Owen, you want to mock me.  You have made a name for yourself by copying all of my moves.  Well how about tonight in the main event we find out just who really is the King of Harts!

After the break we see footage of Disqo's problem with Tony Mamaluke once again.  We then see The Boogie Knights in the ring.

Disqo:  BOOGIE KNIGHTS IN THE HOUSE!  Where my dog's at, where they at?  Tonight the Boogie Knights want one of the top teams to come out here and get an old fashion tushie kicking.

The theme from Masterpiece Theatre plays as William Regal and Fit Finlay come out.

Regal:  Listen here sunshine.  We don't care much for your dancing or you for that matter.  But it was Fit here that wanted to come out here and accept your match.  That is because he ended your father career's Alex, and tonight we plan on doing the same to both of you.

Disqo and Alex Wright defeated Fit Finlay and William Regal when Disqo pinned Regal with the Last Dance in 0:11:08.
Rating: **

The Boogie Knights were dominated in this one by the experienced team of Regal and Finlay.  The end came when Tony Mamaluke and his goons Johnny the Bull and Big Vito.  Vito tried to hit Disqo with a chair but missed and hit Regal.  Disqo took advantage of this and hit the Last Dance for the win.  Fit Finlay was furious and went to the floor and started to brawl with the Mamalukes and soon Regal joined in.  Officials came out and broke the brawl up as we go to break.

Jaime Knoble pinned Lash LeRoux with the Jumping Tombstone Piledriver in 0:08:00.
Rating: **
(Jaime Knoble retained the WCW Cruiserweight Title.)

Lash LeRoux got a Cruiserweight title match, but was facing an angry and embarrassed young man in Knoble.  Knoble just dominated the Ragin' Cajun in this match.  LeRoux did manage to get a near fall when he rolled Knoble up in a small package, but beside that Knoble was dominate and got the win with his Jumping Tombstone.

Big Van Vader pinned Masato Tanaka with the Vader Bomb in 0:06:42.
Rating: ** 3/4

In a battle of Japanese legends led to a great hard hitting match.  Both of these men pulled out all the stops.  Vader got the win when he hit the Vader bomb.  After the match he helped Tanaka to his feet, who responded by giving Vader the Roaring Elbow and leaving.

After the break we see Mark Madden with Vader.

Madden:  Vader, Tanaka seemed to be upset with the loss here tonight.

Vader:  Masato Tanaka, I tried to be nice, I have tried to be nice to everyone since returning to WCW.  But now more.  For now on you all will see the old Vader.  Here in WCW.

Madden:  That doesn't sound like good news for WCW.

We go to the ring where Ray Traylor is taking on Sting.

Sting pinned Ray Traylor with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:07:22.
Rating: ** 1/4

Traylor was aggressive and showed that he wants to be at the top here in WCW.  He was in control until Mortis come down and distracted Traylor.  This allowed Sting to low blow Traylor and hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.

Mike Awesome pinned Booker T with the Awesome Bomb in 0:11:06.
Rating: ***
(Mike Awesome retained the WCW United States Title.)

Mike Awesome put his newly on US Title on the line as he faced Booker T.  This was a great match between the two with both men having near falls.  Early on Booker hit the Book End but Awesome somehow kicked out.  Awesome took over when Booker missed a missile drop kick.  Awesome hit his frog splash but Booker kicked out.  Moments later Awesome connected with the Awesome Bomb for the win.  We see that Vampiro was watching the match on the monitor the entire time.

Mikey Whipwreck pinned Spike Dudley after an inside cradle in 0:06:09.
Rating: *

Since losing the US Title, Mikey has told people that he would bring the cruiserweight title to the Ministry.  This was his first cruiserweight match as he faces Spike Dudley.  Not much to report in this match. Spike once again failed to hit the Acid Drop and Mikey executed an inside cradle for the win.

Vampiro pinned Scott Steiner with the Nail In the Coffin in 0:10:42.
Rating: ** 1/2

Vampiro hasn't been successful here in WCW, but has made a big impact.  This was a big win as he defeated Scott Steiner.  Vampiro and Steiner brawled the entire match.  The end came when Steiner missed a Steiner line.  He turned around right into the Nail in the Coffin for the upset victory.  Steiner snapped in the ring destroy the official Mickey Jay before leaving.

Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett defeated The Ministry (Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker) when Jarrett pinned Hogan with the Stroke in 0:06:03.
Rating: *

Ric Flair teamed with the man he tired to recruit on Nitro Jeff Jarrett to take on the Ministries leaders Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker.  Ric Flair was in the ring for most of this match.  Finally Jarrett got the tag and was on fire.  Jarrett took Taker over the top with a huge dropkick.  He then ducked a clothesline from Hogan, kicked him in the gut and gave him the Stroke for the win.  This brought out the rest of the Ministry who went after the two in the ring.  We then see The Sinister Minister rolling out a casket.

Taker:  Jeff Jarrett, this is for you.  Your career is officially over.

They open the casket but before they can put him into it the Hart Foundation, Ray Traylor, Booker T, Rhino and Scott Steiner made the save.  Jarrett then grabbed the mic.

Jarrett:  Dead Man, Undertaker, you want to try to put me into a casket, will you undead slapnut at Superbrawl how about we go at it in a casket match, you undead slapass!

Owen Hart made Bret Hart submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:11:54.
Rating: **** 1/4

Owen Hart got yet another victory here in WCW when he defeated his brother Bret.  This was another technical match much like Storm and Guido earlier.  But again one of the two took the low road, and this time it was Owen.  Owen clipped his brother and went right to work on his knee.  Owen locked Bret in the figure four but Bret got the ropes.  Bret made a comeback after Owen missed a Legdrop.  Bret then went to work by hitting a Russian Legsweep, backbreaker and an elbow from the second rope.  He went for the Sharpshooter, but Owen poked Bret in the eye.  Owen then locked Bret's legs and turned him over in the Sharpshooter.  Bret fought for over two minutes in the hold but soon the official had no choice but to call for the bell when Bret passed out.  We go off the air with Owen holding his tag team belt over his head while standing over a fallen Bret.
