Nitro comes on the air with footage from Superbrawl of Sting winning the World title cleanly.  We also see still clips of Vader winning the US title in the flaming tables match.  We then go to the ring where the CEO has the mic.

Flair:  Sting, tonight I get my rematch and that title comes back to WCW.

Voodoo child plays as Hogan comes out.

Hogan:  Flair, I would like to give you your rematch, but you aren't going to survive that long.

Hogan then points to the ceiling.  The camera looks up and we see several Ministry members along with Sting lowering down.  Flair takes off his jacket and attacks as they hit the ring, but the numbers are too much.  Sting, Mortis, Gangrel, Papa Shango and Mikey Whipwreck all start putting the boots to Flair.  From the back out comes Demolition, but they are blindsided by Owen Hart and Paul Wight.  Steve Blackman armed with his kendo stick comes out, but Vampiro attacks him from behind.  Vampiro has his face masked because of his match.  Bill DeMott is the next man to try and make the save, but The Undertaker cuts him off.  Then out comes the US champion Vader, but instead of saving Flair, he attacked Hogan.  This distracts the Ministry for a moment, and then out comes The Hart Foundation and Booker T.  The Harts clear most of the ring and it leaves Booker and Sting in the ring.  They exchange rights and lefts while Flair starts to get to his feet.  Sting misses a wild right and gets hit with the Book End.  Booker makes the cover and Flair makes a three count.  Sting rolls to the floor with a horrified look on his face.  We see that most of the Ministry has fought to the back.

Flair:  Sting, tonight you don't get to face me in the ring---YOU WILL BE FACING BOOKER T FOR THAT WORLD TITLE!  WHOO!

Sting looks worried as we go to break.

After the break we see Sting with the rest of the Ministry.

Taker:  Do not worry my follower, we will not allow your title to be stolen this time.  We will Hollywood.

Hogan:  Listen brotha, I will do what I can, but you know Flair has as much if not more power then I do.  But we will not go down without a fight.

Taker:  Speaking of a fight I want Flair and DeMott in the ring tonight.

Hogan:  That I can do.  Tonight you team with Mortis to face those two men.  Also I want to teach Vader a lesson so tonight I get him, and I think you boys know what to do.

We now go to the announce table where Scott Hudson is with Gene Bennett.

Hudson: What a way to start the show Gene.

Bennett:  I would say, it was a huge brawl, and I think WCW got the upper hand in it.

Hudson:  Well our first match is a six-man tag match as the Mamalukes team with their boss Tony to face the Boogie Knights and Disqo's buddy Lash LeRoux.

The Mamalukes and Tony Mamaluke defeated Boogie Knights and Lash LeRoux when Mamaluke pinned A. Wright after a Victory Roll in 0:04:16.
Rating: *

This was a short match, and the thugs got the win in this one.  The end saw all six men brawling when Tony Mamaluke hit a picture perfect victory roll.

Mikey Whipwreck pinned Just Joe with the Whippersnapper in 0:05:51.
Rating: ** 3/4

Mikey Whipwreck come out one night after nearly winning the cruiserweight title to face an upset minded Just Joe.  Joe has been on the edge of stardom since joining WCW.  He got several near falls, but missed a flying elbow.  Mikey then hit the Whippersnapper for the win.

Hudson:  What a closely contested match Gene.

Bennett:  Well Just Joe is going to be a champion one-day that is certain.

Hudson:  Speaking of champions, Jaime Knoble is standing by with Mean Gene.

Mean:  Jaime, up next is your toughest test yet.  You face off with former partners Brian Christopher AND Scott Taylor.

Knoble:  Well Gene, I don't care who they are.  I have beat everyone WCW has thrown at me, and the dancing fool Taylor and the crybaby Christopher will be no different.

Mean:  There goes a very confident man.

Triangle Match:
Scott Taylor defeated Jaime Knoble and Brian Christopher:
x Taylor beat Knoble via the Worm in 0:10:35
x Taylor beat Christopher via the Worm in 0:15:34
Rating: ** 1/4
(Scott Taylor won the WCW Cruiserweight Title.)

Jaime Knoble was confident, but he didn't keep his title.  Early on it seemed that perhaps we would be seeing a reunion of Too Cool as Taylor and Christopher double teamed Knoble.  Knoble was eliminated when Christopher gave Knoble a brainbuster followed by the Worm for Scotty.  This gave us a new champion, but it was in either Scotty or Brian.  Scotty went to shake hands with Brian and got pulled into a lariat.  Brian then worked on Scotty with chops and right hands.  Brian hit a powerslam and went to the top for the Tennessee Jam but Scotty moved.  Scotty then got pumped and gave Brian a pumphandle slam and then gave him the Worm for the title.  Scotty began to celebrate, but Brian attacked him from behind.  He gave Scotty a brainbuster and then the Tennessee Jam before leaving.

Hudson:  We have a new champion, but he doesn't look like one right now.

Bennett:  That is for sure Scott.  Right now I understand that something is going on in the back?

We go to the back and see that Ax has been laid out.  Smash comes out of his locker room and looks confused.

Hudson:  Ax of Demolition has been laid out, but by who?

Bennett:  I would bet that it was those jackasses in the Ministry.

Hudson:  We don't know that Gene, a lot of people could have done that to get a title shot.

Bennett:  Well let's go to break and try to find out what the hell is going on.

After the break we see that Ax is with the trainer.

Trainer:  Listen Ax, you can't go tonight.  You will have to forfeit the match.

Smash:  Listen Ax, if Coach here says not to compete, then you shouldn't.

Ax:  But we might not get another shot for a while.

Smash:  I can go out there and take care of business.

Hudson:  Did Smash just say he was going to fight the champs alone?

Bennett:  Dear God I hope not, I don't know if security can hear me but stop that man.  We can't let him do that.

Hudson:  Too late Gene, here comes Smash.

Smash comes to the ring and then the champs come out for our match.

The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) defeated Demolition when Wight pinned Ax with the Showstopper in 0:06:33.
Rating: ** 1/4
(The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) retained the WCW Tag Team Titles.)

Owen and Paul laughed as the came to the ring, but didn't laugh long.  Smash didn't back down one bit and was actually very aggressive.  Smash worked on Owen and then allowed him to tag The Big Show.  Smash got right into the face of Wight, or as close as Smash can get.  Smash and Wight then exchanged chops, with Wight getting the upper hand of course.  Wight and Owen then started to double team Smash.  Owen and Smash took each other out with a double clothesline.  From the back Ax came out and got into his corner.  His ribs were taped and had a brace on his elbow.  Both men made tags and Ax did his best against the Big Show, but the end came when Show gave Ax the Showstopper.

Hudson:  Ax tried to help his partner, but he looks even worse for wear now.

Bennett:  He is getting helped to the back his partner and the official Charles Robinson.

Hudson:  I understand that Pamela is with our new TV Champion Scott Steiner.

Pam:  Scott, tonight you face the man you beat at Superbrawl in Little Guido.

Steiner:  Listen Pam, the way you are looking at me makes me think you want to be my freak of the week.  Pam, tonight there is going to be a special freak, and that is Guido.  Pam, you just stay here and I will make you my freak tonight and I will take you to the big O.

Pam:  What kind of girl do you think I am?

Scott Steiner made Little Guido Maritato submit to the Steiner Recliner in
0:08:39.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Scott Steiner retained the WCW TV Title.)

Guido tried to reclaim his title, but Steiner held on to it.  Early on Guido worked on Steiner's knee keeping him off his feet.  Guido went for the Kiss of Death and Steiner powered out.  Steiner then gave him a belly to belly and locked in the Steiner Recliner for the win.

Fit Finlay and William Regal defeated The Hart Foundation when Regal made B. Hart submit to the Regal Stretch in 0:07:29.
Rating: ***

Fit Finlay and William Regal got a big win in this match, the biggest yet for the team.  Early on the power men of Finlay and Neidhart exchanged blows, but soon the technical portion came up as Regal and Hart locked it up.  These two had great exchanges.  The end came when the official was getting Neidhart out of the ring.  Finlay came in and gave Hart the Tombstone and then knocked Neidhart off the ropes.  Regal then locked in the Regal Stretch on Hart who was knocked out.  The official checked the arms and rang the bell.

Bennett:  What a win for Finlay and Regal Scott.

Hudson:  You are right there Gene.  That has to put them inline for a title shot.

Bennett:  Speaking of a title shot, up next Vader faces off with our commissioner, Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Big Van Vader pinned Hulk Hogan with the Vader Bomb in 0:05:33.
Rating: * 3/4
(Big Van Vader retained the WCW United States Title.)

This match luckily was short.  Neither of these men were known as great technicians.  Vader and Hogan are both powerhouses and it showed.  Vader took over after he ducked a Hogan clothesline and gave him one of his own.  The end came when Vampiro came out and tried to attack Vader.  Vader knocked him off the apron and turned around and gave Hogan a big powerslam.  He quickly gave him the Vader Bomb for the win.  Vader then went to the floor and attacked Vampiro.  Vamp and Vader fought to the back.

Ministry (Mortis and The Undertaker) defeated Bill DeMott and Ric Flair when Undertaker pinned Flair with the Last Rites in 0:08:38.
Rating: ***

Mortis and the Undertaker got the win in this tag match.  DeMott and Flair were both very aggressive, which worked against them.  They made several errors in the match and it cost them.  The end came when Mortis gave Flair a shot with the Skull Cane, and Taker gave Flair the Last Rites for the win.  Taker went for a second one but DeMott made the save.

Masato Tanaka pinned Rhino with the Diamond Dust in 0:09:51.
Rating: ** 3/4

Two tough guys locked it up as Rhino faced off with Masato Tanaka.  Neither of these men were on the winning end at Superbrawl and they weren't happy about it.  Tanaka and Rhino brawled most of the match.  The end came when Rhino tried to gore Tanaka in the corner.  Tanaka leapfrogged over him and Rhino hit the post. Tanaka quickly hit Diamond Dust for the win.

Booker T pinned Sting after an inside cradle in 0:05:19.
Rating: **
(Booker T won the WCW World Title.)

In the match made at the start of the show, Sting once again was a one-day champion.  Just moments after the match started all hell broke loose.  The Ministry charged the ring followed by Team WCW.  They were fighting all over the building while Booker and Sting still fought in the ring.  Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop, but didn't go for the cover.  Sting stood over Booker celebrating when Booker hit a low blow.  Booker then rolled Sting up into an inside cradle for the win and the title.
