Hudson:  Superbrawl is just four days away.  Tonight the TV champion gets a rare night off as he prepares for his tag match when he teams with his partner Sal against the Mamalukes.  Also Mikey Whipwreck faces off with Scott Taylor in a warm up match.  Demolition takes on the team of Scott Steiner and Rhino.  All that and much more here on Thunder. Little Guido Maritato and Sal E. Graziano defeated The Mamalukes when L. Guido pinned Vito with the Kiss of Death in 0:06:34. Rating: * Little Guido and Big Sal got the win here when Guido pinned Vito.  Sal and Guido didn't have the best teamwork, but Guido made up for that with his skills.  The Mamalukes tried to brawl but the end came with the Kiss of Death from Guido for the win. Mikey Whipwreck pinned Scott Taylor with the Whippersnapper in 0:04:13. Rating: * This match was a little bit of revenge for Mikey after Taylor ruined his fun on Nitro after that tag match.  Taylor seemed to have the match won when Gangrel and Papa Shango came out and distracted Taylor.  Moments later Mikey hit the Whippersnapper for the win.  The three men then put the boots to Taylor until Booker T and Brian Christopher made the save.  Christopher helped Taylor up.  He then yelled that he had repaid the favor before leaving.  After the break we go to the CEO's office where Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher are with Ric Flair. Flair:  Listen guys, you two don't like each other I know that.  But you were a great team.  You still can be and that is what I want to talk about.  I want to see a Too Cool reunion.  You would be facing Gangrel and Papa Shango. Christopher:  No way boss, I don't want anything to do with it. Flair:  Hold up Brian.  You do this and I guarantee that you get your cruiserweight title match if Knoble wins or not.  Taylor:  What is in it for me? Flair:  You will be in that match as well.  The cruiserweight title will be defended against Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor on Nitro if you agree. Taylor:  I am game I guess, I hate the Ministry. Christopher:  Ok, you got it, just don't screw it up Scott. Demolition defeated Scott Steiner and Rhino when Smash pinned S. Steiner with the Backbreaker in 0:08:33. Rating: ** Demolition picked up a big win over a top tag team here, but it was because of Guido and Sal.  Guido and Sal attacked Rhino on the floor while Demolition finished of Steiner in the ring. The Ministry (Gangrel and Papa Shango) defeated Boogie Knights when Gangrel pinned A. Wright with the Impaler in 0:04:02. Rating: * 1/4 Gangrel and Papa Shango defeated the Boogie Knights on the way to Superbrawl.  The Boogie Knights were then attacked by the Mamalukes who were attacked by William Regal and Fit Finlay.  We saw the six men that will be in the street fight brawl as we went to break.  After the break we see an interview done with Hugh Morrus by Mike Tenay. Tenay:  Hugh Morrus, it has been a week since we saw you WCW TV, what have you been doing? Morrus:  Tenay, don't call me that.  You know my name is Bill.  I am not General Rection or Hugh Morrus.  Tenay:  Ok Bill, what have you been doing? DeMott:  I have been thinking a lot really Mike.  My whole career I have never hurt anyone like I did Brian or Jeff.  I knew that the move was dangerous but I did it anyway. Tenay:  Lets go back to last Thursday Bill.  You were told to do to Lash LeRoux what you did to Brian and Jeff, yet you didn't.  Why? DeMott:  Everyone knows that Lash and I are good friends.  The Undertaker tried to test my loyalty.  Tenay:  Well your argument with him saved Lash, but what about Jeff?  Just yesterday he regained feeling in his legs. DeMott:  Mike, yesterday I went and saw Jeff and you know he told me he understood.  He asked me to do him a favor. Tenay:  And that is? DeMott:  He said for me to stuff the Undertaker's undead ass in that casket at Superbrawl.  Undertaker at Superbrawl your ass is still in a casket match, only now it is with Bill DeMott! We then go to break. The Hart Foundation defeated The Ministry (Hulk Hogan and Vampiro) when B. Hart pinned Vampiro after the Hart Attack in 0:14:28. Rating: ** The Hart Foundation got their warm up match in the form of Hollywood Hogan and Vampiro.  This was a great match, but the end was full of interference.  Owen Hart, Paul Wight and Mike Awesome all interfered.  Awesome attacked Hogan on the floor while officials were removing Owen and Wight from ringside.  On the inside The Foundation gave Vamp the Hart Attack and got the win.  After the match Hogan grabbed the mic. Hogan:  MIKE AWESOME!  You are going to be in a match here tonight.  Tonight I order you to team with the World Champion Ric Flair against the Ministries champions Owen Hart and Paul Wight.  If you two win you are the champs.  And the loser of the fall will be FIRED here tonight. After the break we see footage of Steve Blackman defeat Vampiro on Nitro.  We then see his blood bath afterwards.  Sting pinned Steve Blackman with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:04:18. Rating: * 1/2 Steve Blackman was given a contract with WCW after the attack by Vamp.  Tonight he faced off with Sting.  Sting made short work of Blackman who was just out skilled in this match.  Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. The Undertaker pinned Masato Tanaka with the Last Ride in 0:11:25. Rating: **** 1/4 Two monsters faced off in this match where the Undertaker got the win.  Neither man stepped back and it could have gone either way.  These two men will surely meet again in the ring. Big Van Vader pinned Booker T with the Vader Bomb in 0:11:00. Rating: *** Vader got yet another win in what he is calling his Road Kill Tour 2001.  Booker fought hard, but in the end Vader was just too big and too strong.  The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) defeated Mike Awesome and Ric Flair when O. Hart made Awesome submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:08:43. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) retained the WCW Tag Team Titles.) Mike Awesome has been fired from WCW after he passed out to Owen Hart's Sharpshooter.  Awesome never tagged in Ric Flair in this match, and it was a big mistake.  The end came when Awesome took the Final Cut followed by the Sharpshooter.  Awesome wouldn't tap but soon passed out to the pain. Flair:  Hogan, that was real smart of you.  Now you probably think that painted goof Vampiro will get the title.  Well he will still have to fight for that title.  At Superbrawl he will be facing a mystery man of my choice.  Hudson:  Superbrawl will be another great pay per view from WCW.  All the titles will be on the line and much more.  This Sunday ONLY ON PAY PER VIEW!!
