Thunder comes on the air with footage from Nitro.  We see Little Guido defeat Scott Steiner.  We see Hugh Morrus injury Jeff Jarrett.  We also see the debut of Demolition.  We then go to the CEO Ric Flair.

Flair:  Welcome everyone to Thunder.  Tonight we have an action packed show.  The TV Champion will face Rhino here tonight.  Also I am going to break the Ministry down a little by defeating the Undertaker.  Mike Awesome is going to take Hollywood down a notch as well.  All that and much more here tonight.  Thanks for tuning in to the GREATEST wrestling action in the world.

After the break we see footage from Nitro of Guido trying to have a fake drawing.  We then see him defeat Steiner and Rhino make the save when Guido and Sal attacked him.

Little Guido Maritato pinned Rhino with the Kiss of Death in 0:06:21.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Little Guido Maritato retained the WCW TV Title.)

Little Guido got another big win against Rhino with a little help from his big friend.  Rhino was just destroying both Guido and Sal.  Rhino then made the mistake of going for a table.  The official tried to remove it and was knocked down by Rhino.  This brought in Big Sal who avalanched Rhino through the table.  Guido took advantage and helped Rhino up.  He then gave him the Kiss of Death for the win.  Sal and Guido continued the attack when Scott Steiner charged the ring and ran off Guido and Sal.

After the break we see Steiner and Rhino with Mean Gene.

Mean:  Scott Steiner, you and Rhino both have tried to de-throne Little Guido yet he holds victories over both of you.

Steiner:  Mean Gene, we are sick and tired of this.  At Superbrawl we want both Guido and Sal in the ring at Superbrawl.

Rhino:  AND WE ARE GOING TO RIP THEIR F*CKING HEADS OFF!

Mean:  You can't use that kind of language on TNT.

We then go to the ring where Hugh Morrus is locking up with Masato Tanaka.

Hugh Morrus and Masato Tanaka battled to a double countout in 0:03:19.
Rating: * 3/4

Hugh Morrus and Tanaka just beat the hell out of each other.  There wasn't much wrestling and the two got counted out brawling.  Morrus finally knocked Tanaka down with chair shot and set it up like he did when he injured Brian Christopher and Jeff Jarrett.  Tanaka however rolled out of the ring before damage could be done.  We then go back to the back where Mark Madden is with Little Guido.

Madden:  Guido, moments ago Scott Steiner and Rhino challenged you and Big Sal to a tag match at Superbrawl.

Guido:  That is fine with me.  I am would even be willing to put my title on the line for whoever get the cover.

Madden:  Well you heard it here first guys Little Guido and Big Sa---

Guido:  Hold it right there Madden you fat bastard.  I said it was fine with me, but there is one problem and that is the fact that Big Sal here is a manager not a wrestler.  Now if he had a wrestling permit with WCW---

Sal:  Guido, I do have one.

Guido:  Are you stupid?  You do not, that was your manager license you got yesterday in the mail.

Sal:  Yeah, but after Rhino and Steiner made that challenge Ric Flair came up and gave me a wrestling permit so we could have our match.

Guido:  WHAT?!  WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!  I DON'T ACCEPT THE MATCH, I DON'T!

Madden:  Well it sounds like you got the match no matter what you want.  Up next Demolition takes on Fit Finlay and William Regal.

Demolition defeated Fit Finlay and William Regal when Smash pinned Regal after the Demolition Decapitation in 0:05:38.

Vampiro pinned Lash LeRoux with the Nail In the Coffin in 0:04:08.
Rating: 3/4*

Vampiro completely destroyed Lash LeRoux who hasn't really been on track here in WCW.  After the match Vamp got out a table and light it on fire.  Vamp the set Lash up for a powerbomb through the table when Hugh Morrus ran out and stopped Vamp.  Vamp threw Lash out of the ring and the two men shoved each other.  The rest of the Ministry then came out and stopped LeRoux from leaving the ringside area.  The held LeRoux while the Undertaker took the mic.

Taker:  Hugh Morrus, do not defy me.

Morrus:  Listen, this kid didn't do anything, just let him go.  He is innocent.

Taker:  No one is innocent Morrus.  Put him through the table.

Morrus:  No.

We see LeRoux knocked out in the corner as The Undertaker slaps Morrus.

Taker:  I SAID PUT HIM THROUGH THE DAMN TABLE!

Morrus:  NO!

Taker:  Hugh Morrus, I am sorry for this.  Get him boys.

The Ministry was on Hugh Morrus like a pack of wolves.  Morrus tried to fight back, but the numbers were too much.  EMT's meanwhile quickly pulled Lash LeRoux from the ring.  We see in the back that Mike Awesome is watching all this as Vamp takes the mic.

Vamp:  Mike Awesome, are you watching this?  Well this is what is going to happen to you at Superbrawl.

Vamp then set Morrus on the top rope and gave him a top rope Frankensteiner through the flaming table.  Morrus screamed as he went through it.  The Ministry left Morrus lying in the ring as officials sprayed both Morrus and the table with fire extinguishers.

After the break we see Lash LeRoux being taken out in an ambulance while Hugh Morrus leaves the building.  We then go to Mark Madden with Mike Awesome.

Madden:  Mike Awesome, you might have just seen your own future as Vampiro put the former Ministry member Hugh Morrus through a flaming table.

Awesome:  Madden, I don't care what Vampiro does.  I am not scared of him or his fire.  Tonight I get to beat up a man I once admired.  Hogan, you turned on me like a dog.  Well you know what you do to a dog that turns on you?  YOU TAKE HIM OUT!

Madden:  Looks like Hogan has a big problem on his hands in the US Champ Mike Awesome.

Mike Awesome retained his US Title over the commissioner Hulk Hogan.  Hogan and Awesome didn't have a lot of wrestling in the match.  For Mike Awesome this was all about revenge.  Awesome did finally get his revenge when he hit the Awesome Bomb through a table for the win.

The Hart Foundation defeated Boogie Knights when B. Hart pinned A. Wright after the Hart Attack in 0:12:11.
Rating: *** 1/4

The Boogie Knights again showed that they were on the verge of being a great tag team when they took the Hart Foundation to the limit.  The end came when Wright attempted a missile dropkick on Jim Neidhart, but he moved and Wright hit Disqo in the back sending him from the ring.  Neidhart and Hart quickly hit the Hart Attack for the win.  The loss however didn't stop the Boogie Knights from dancing after the match.

Ric Flair pinned The Undertaker after a small package in 0:14:28.
Rating: ***
(Ric Flair retained the WCW World Title.)

Ric Flair continues on his one man destruction of the Ministry.  The Undertaker controlled most of this match, but seemed more content on destroying and hurt Flair.  During the match Sting came to ringside.  The Undertaker sent Flair to the floor where Sting attacked him.  Back in the ring Taker set Flair up for the Last Rites, but Flair collapsed.  Taker went for it again and the same thing.  A third try and Flair rolled Taker up in a small package and got the win.  The Undertake and Sting were on the champ right after the bell.  This brought out Ray Traylor for the save.

Flair:  STING!  We have played this game before.  Tonight you are going to wrestle in the main event.  You will be facing the best technical wrestler in WCW, Lance Storm.  IF you can beat him tonight the two of us can dance just once more at Superbrawl.  WHOO!  One more thing, and this is for you Undertaker.  If you or any of your goons touch me if they aren't in a match with me I will fire their ass on the spot.

Taker:  Flair, that might save you but it won't save your friends.

Booker T faced off with Mortis and they had a good match.  Mortis, like the rest of the Ministry, was out to hurt Booker T.  He went right after Booker's knee and locked in almost a standing figure four.  Booker fought out and the two went toe to toe.  Mortis missed a spin kick and Booker gave him the Book End for the win.

Sting pinned Lance Storm with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:06:39.
Rating: **** 1/2

Our main event for Superbrawl was decided when Sting defeated Lance Storm in another great match from Storm.  These two men showed why they are on top of the wrestling world.  Storm locked in the Maple Leaf, but Sting powered his way out.  He then showed signs of the old Sting when he howled to the crowd and flexed.  Moments later Storm tried for a suplex, but Sting floated over and hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.  We leave the air with Storm arguing that he kicked out.
