Nitro comes on the air with footage from Thunder.  We see the new TV Champion crowned.  We also see Jeff Jarrett make the challenge to the Undertaker for a casket match at Superbrawl.  Now we go to the commissioner's office.

Hogan:  Listen up WCW, I am booking the show tonight.  Tonight the World Champion Ric Flair is going to face the Ministries man Vampiro.  That turn coat Jeff Jarrett will face Hugh Morrus.  After their big win on Thunder the Boogie Knights get a tag team title shot against Owen and Paul.  All of that tonight.

We then go to the CEO's office.

Flair:  Folks, Hollywood did book a great show didn't he?  But he didn't put The Undertaker or Sting on the show.  Well I have a special tag team in mind for them tonight.  Also after the brawl on Thunder the Mamalukes will face William Regal and Fit Finlay.  Thank you and enjoy the show.

We then go the ring where Little Guido is in the ring.

Guido:  I am the TV Champion and you fans hate it don't you.  Well being the man that I am I have set this tumbler up here in the ring.  Every superstar in WCW is in this.  I will draw a name out and kick his ass.  Hell, I will let Sal here draw a name.

Sal draws a name.

Guido:  Read the name Sal.

Sal:  Ok, it says Scott Steiner.

Guido:  SCOTT STEINER!  HOW IN THE HELL DID THAT GET IN THERE!  SOMEONE WAS MESSING WITH MY TUMBLER!

In the background we hear sirens blaring as Steiner comes to the ring.

Little Guido Maritato pinned Scott Steiner with the Kiss of Death in 0:09:04.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Little Guido Maritato retained the WCW TV Title.)

Little Guido picked up yet another win here as he defeated Scott Steiner.  Steiner dominated this match with his power, but was too cocky.  He went for a super T-bone suplex, but Guido countered by knocking him off and Steiner fell right on his head.  Steiner was shook up and Guido could tell.  Guido quickly gave Steiner the Kiss of Death for the win.  After the match Sal came in and with Guido put the boots to Steiner, but his tag team partner Rhino came out for the save.  Rhino gored Sal but Guido escaped without injury.

After the break we see footage of Regal and Finlay brawling with the Mamalukes on Thunder.  We then go to the ring where the two teams are facing off.

William Regal and Fit Finlay defeated The Mamalukes when Regal made Vito submit to the Regal Stretch in 0:06:14.
Rating: **

The team of Finlay and Regal tried to keep the match technical but the goons of Tony Mamaluke didn't want that.  They turned the match into a brawl, which Fit Finlay liked.   The end came during a brawl.  From the back out came the Boogie Knights.  The pulled Johnny the Bull outside the ring and attacked him.  Inside the ring Finlay gave Vito the Tombstone and Regal locked in the Regal Stretch for the win.  Regal and Finlay then went to the floor and attacked the Boogie Knights who quickly ran to the back.

After the break we see Pamela Paulshock with William Regal and Fit Finlay.

Pam:  William, why did you attack the Boogie Knights?

Regal:  Shut up you buxom wretch.  Listen up you bunch of losers.  Alex Wright, I carried you to the tag team titles sunshine.  You are a German piece of trash while you are teaming with a New York piece of trash.

Finlay:  That brings us to the Mamalukes, who are also nothing but New York pieces of trash.

Regal:  So here is what is going to happen.  At Superbrawl we are going to fight, the six of us.  A street fight, no rules.

Finlay:  Last team standing wins.

After the break we see footage of the victories that Jaime Knoble has racked up as of late.  We then go to the ring where Knoble is facing Just Joe.

Jaime Knoble pinned Just Joe with the Jumping Tombstone Piledriver in 0:03:55.
Rating: **
(Jaime Knoble retained the WCW Cruiserweight Title.)

This match showed that again that Knoble just keeps getting better and that Just Joe is on the verge of being a superstar.  This match ended when Knoble countered Joe's Jumping DDT into a release Northern Light suplex.  He quickly hit the Jumping Tombstone for the win.

After the break we see the Boogie Knights in the ring.

Disqo:  DISQO IN THE HOUSE!  Now we all know that I have got it like that, so how about that big goof Big Show and that little nugget Owen get out here and give us those titles.  And one more question---WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!!!

Owen:  You just let the dogs out you bugle beaked jackass.

The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) defeated Disqo and Alex Wright when O. Hart pinned Disqo after an enzuigiri in 0:05:18.
Rating: ** 1/4
(The Ministry (Owen Hart and Paul Wight) retained the WCW Tag Team Titles.)

The next match was set up by Hogan to give the champs an easy match.  It was just that.  Disqo and Wright are both great athletes and can beat any superstar on any given night, but this wasn't their night.  Disqo did attempt the Last Dance on the huge Big Show, but that wasn't much.  Moments later Owen hit the enzuigiri on Disqo for the win.  This brought out the Mamalukes who attempted to attack the Boogie Knights, but the champs didn't like that.  The proceeded to destroy the Mamalukes before leaving.

Jeff Jarrett pinned Hugh Morrus with the Stroke in 0:03:29. Jeff Jarrett
suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 10 cards.
Rating: * 1/2

In another match set up by Hogan, Jeff Jarrett won the battle, but seemed to have lost the war.  Jarrett made short work of Morrus, but the aftermath was sick.  Morrus attacked Jarrett after the match with a chair.  He set the chair up and gave him a powerbomb on the set up chair.  Jarrett lay motionless in the ring while Morrus celebrated.

After the break we see Jeff Jarrett being loaded into an ambulance.  We then go to Mean Gene who is with Ric Flair.

Mean:  Ric, any news on Jeff?

Flair:  It seems that Jeff has lost all feeling in his arms and legs.  That is all we know.  But one thing I do know is this, Hugh Morrus, you will pay for this on Thunder.

Mean:  And let me add this, Hugh Morrus you go straight to hell.

Rhino pinned Mortis with the Piledriver in 0:10:33.
Rating: *** 1/2

Rhino and Mortis fought a great match.  Both men worked hard and the fans responded.  The end came when Mortis missed a flying Legdrop.  Rhino then gored Mortis and hit the Piledriver for the win.

After the break we see the Undertaker and Sting coming to the ring.  Then we see Ric Flair come out on the ramp.

Flair:  Taker, I know it was you who sent Morrus out to injury Jeff.  Now I could send my guys out to hurt you, but that isn't my way.  Now these guys can very easily hurt you, trust me.  They are three times WWF Tag Team Champions and are tag team legends.  I give you Ax and Smash---DEMOLITION!!

Demolition charges the ring and we have our next match.

Demolition defeated The Ministry (Sting and The Undertaker) when Smash pinned Sting with the Backbreaker in 0:10:47.
Rating: ** 1/2

This was a battle between the two teams.  Demolition showed what made them legends by double-teaming the Undertaker in corner as only they can do.  They kept him down with their patented double team double axhandles to the back.  Taker however did come back and make the tag to Sting.  Sting worked on both members of Demolition, but Demolition was too fired up.  Ax pulled Smash out of the way of a Stinger Splash.  Sting hit the post and stumbled right into the Backbreaker from Smash who got the win as Ax held The Undertaker off.  Demolition quickly left before the rest of the Ministry could hit the ring.

After the break we see footage of the match between Vader and Tanaka on Thunder.  Vader got the win, but Tanaka knocked him down with the Roaring Elbow.  We then see Tanaka in the ring with Spike Dudley

Masato Tanaka pinned Spike Dudley with the Diamond Dust in 0:06:38.
Rating: ** 1/4

Spike and Tanaka brawled all over the place.  The end came when Spike took the Diamond Dust for the lost.  Spike snapped again and grabbed a chair but so did Tanaka.  The two had a stand off until a monster from the back came out.  Vader charged the ring and attacked Tanaka.  Spike then attacked Vader with the chair.  Vader just laughed as he attacked Spike Dudley.  He gave him three power bombs before returning to Tanaka who took two.  Vader then grabbed the mic.

Vader:  WHO'S THE MAN?!?!  I SAID WHO'S THE MAN?!?!  I DON'T CARE WHO IT IS I WANT SOMEONE IN THE RING NOW!

Mike Awesome's music plays as he comes out.

Awesome:  You want someone you fat bastard, who about we do it?

With that Awesome throws the mic down and charges the ring.

Mike Awesome pinned Big Van Vader after a lariat in 0:10:28.
Rating: ***
(Mike Awesome retained the WCW United States Title.)

This was the stiffest match we have seen in WCW.  Neither man took a step back.  These two monsters are two of the biggest and toughest not only in WCW, but all of pro wrestling.  The end came when Vader missed a moonsault.  Awesome then hit a lariat that would make Stan Hansen proud and got the win.  Vader and Awesome then continued to brawl as we go to break.

Booker T pinned Lance Storm with the Book End in 0:06:14.
Rating: *** 3/4

Once again Booker T and Lance Storm tore the house down.  These two men who once fought for the TV Title were not trying to take the next step up.  These two again showed why they should be fighting for titles.  Booker T hit the Book End out of nowhere for the win.

Ric Flair pinned Vampiro with the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:10:47.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Ric Flair retained the WCW World Title.)

Ric Flair defended his title against another Ministry member in Vampiro.  Vamp and Flair had a good match.  Vamp and Flair exchanged chops several times with the Nature Boy getting the upper hand.  Vamp took over with a low blow and then hit the Nail in the Coffin.  Somehow Flair managed to kick out though.  Vamp went to the top but missed a flying knee.  Flair took advantage and locked in the Figure Four.  As soon as Vamp gave up the Ministry was in the ring.  Flair tried to fight them off but they were too much.  This brought out Mike Awesome, The Hart Foundation, Demolition and Ray Traylor from the back.  We go off the air with both groups brawling.
