Thunder comes on the air with footage from Nitro. We see Jaime Knoble win the Cruiserweight title. We also see the new CEO Ric Flair defeat Sting for the world title. We then see footage that didn't air on nitro. Once again we see Hugh Morrus chained in the boiler room of an arena. We then see the Undertaker walk into the shot. Taker: Hugh Morrus, once again you failed me. This is becoming a common thing between us. I don't know if you enjoy the pain, which I admire, or you just aren't worthy of the Ministry. Once again you must pay for your failure. The Undertaker then pulls out a stun gun. He proceeds to shock Morrus several times before leaving him hanging unconscious. We now go to the ring where Brian Christopher has the mic. Christopher: Listen up all of you stupid fans. I am the greatest cruiserweight here in WCW. But tonight I don't care who it is that comes to the ring to face me. This is an open challenge to anyone in the back. The lights go out and we see Hugh Morrus come out. We see the scars on his body from what the Undertaker did to him for losing.
Brian Christopher pinned Hugh Morrus with the Tennessee Jam in 0:07:01. Hugh Morrus used his over 100 pound advantage to just that, and advantage. Morrus worked over Brian with a huge powerbomb and hit the No Laughing Matter. Morrus however didn't stop there. He went up and hit a second one. Brian didn't move while Morrus went for a third one. While on the top Morrus jawed with the fans and Brian recovered. He gave Morrus a powerbomb from the top. He then hit the Tennessee Jam for the upset win. Morrus snapped after the match. Morrus got a chair and nailed Christopher across the back. He then set it up and powerbombed Christopher through it. Christopher quickly grabbed his neck and was screaming in pain while Morrus laughed at the scene. We go to break with Morrus standing over the fallen Brian Christopher. After the break we go to the back where Mean Gene is with Lash LeRoux. Mean: Lash, before I speak with you I want to update everyone on Brian Christopher. He is complaining of pain in his arms and legs. If we get more info on Brian before the end of the night we will relay it you. Now Lash LeRoux, you debuted last Sunday at Souled Out in the cruiserweight division. Are you going to just set your sights at the cruiserweight title or are you going to be involved in the heavyweight division as well? Lash: Well Mean--- Rikishi pushes his way into the shot. Rikishi: Why in the hell does this little nobody get interview time and I wasn't even on the pay per view? Mean: I don't know Rikishi, but this time has been set a side for Lash. Rikishi: I will set something a side for you boy, and it will be my ass in your face, I will see you in the ring. Rikishi then shoves Lash and leaves. Mean: Lash? Lash: What the hell is his problem? Mean: I understand we have a camera following Hugh Morrus. We see Hugh Morrus walking into a darkened room. We see on the far side of the room the Undertaker sits in a throne shaped like his symbol. He is surrounded by candles. Taker: Approach Hugh Morrus. Over the past few weeks you have failed me over and over again. Once again you failed me tonight, however what you did afterwards makes up for it. Hugh, I have a special assignment for you. We then go to the ring where Lash LeRoux is awaiting the Rikishi.
Lash LeRoux pinned Rikishi after a flying cross body press in 0:05:39. Rikishi destroyed Lash in this match. Rikishi had nearly 200 pounds on Lash and he used it. Lash tried to use his speed but it wasn't enough. Rikishi has Lash backed in the corner and charged in but Lash leaped over the top rope and Rikishi hit the turnbuckles. This allowed Lash to hit a flying cross body press for the upset win. Rikishi tried to get to Lash after the match, but LeRoux escaped. After the break we see footage of Jeff Jarrett losing to both Disqo and Tony Mamaluke at Souled Out and on Nitro. We then go to the ring where Jarrett has the mic. Jarrett: Listen up all you slapasses. I am a former WCW Champion and your asses best respect that. I have been distracted from getting my title back, but not anymore. I am the Chosen One and I am going to start proving it. I don't care who it is that comes out. I don't care if it is Mortis, Sting, Mike Awesome, The Undertaker or even that Jurassic slapass Ric Flair. I want to prove that I am the Chosen One and the deserving number one contender. Vader comes out and charges the ring as our next match begins.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Big Van Vader via pinfall in 0:09:46. Jarrett attacked Vader as he entered the ring. Jarrett hit a big dropkick but only got a one. Jarrett kept on the advantage, but Vader was too big. Vader started a come back and hit a Vader Attack in the corner but the official Nick Patrick got caught too. This brought out the Undertaker who attacked Vader. He gave Vader a huge chokeslam. Then Hugh Morrus came out and gave Vader the No Laughing Matter. Jarrett spun the Undertaker around and the two exchanged words. The Undertaker tried to leave, and Jarrett spun him around again and started poking Taker in the chest. Morrus then attacked Jarrett from behind. The Undertaker gave Jarrett the Last Rites and as he hit the mat his arm landed on Vader. Nick Patrick finally came to and made the three count giving Jarrett the victory. After the break Mean Gene is with Jeff Jarrett. Mean: Jeff Jarrett, I think you just blew your shot at joining the major power in WCW. Jarrett: Shut up you balding slapnut. Undertaker, if your dead slapass wants to stick your nose into my business that is fine. Come Monday night you are going to end up wearing this six string around your undead neck. So choke on that slapass!
Lance Storm made Just Joe submit to the Maple Leaf in 0:03:46. Lance Storm once defeated Just Joe in short fashion. Just Joe once again showed signs of improvement, but Storm locked in the Maple Leaf for the win.
The Mamalukes defeated The Ministry (Gangrel and Papa Shango) when
Vito pinned Shango with the Big Vito Special in 0:07:05. The Mamalukes got a win over the Ministry in this match. However they didn't win the war as Mortis came out and attack the Mamalukes afterward. After destroying the Mamalukes the lights went out. When they came back up the Mamalukes were covered in blood. After the break we again see Tony Mamalukes win over Jeff Jarrett. We then see Tony in the ring. Mamaluke: Listen up all of the cruiserweights in the back. On Nitro I defeated a former WORLD CHAMPION! Tonight I want any cruiserweight in the ring. Highway to hell plays as Spike Dudley comes out for the challenge.
Tony Mamaluke pinned Spike Dudley with the Guillotine Legdrop in 0:07:20. Tony Mamaluke continued on his winning streak as he defeated Spike in this match. Spike went for the Acid Drop, but Mamaluke countered with a huge belly to back suplex. Mamaluke quickly hit his Guillotine Legdrop for the win. After the break we see Jaime Knoble win the Cruiserweight title from Billy Kidman, who after the loss walked out of WCW. We then see Scott Taylor defeat Brian Christopher for this shot.

Piledriver in 0:04:00. Scott Taylor put up a good fight, but Jaime is on top of his game. Scott went for a moonsault, but Knoble moved. Knoble took advantage and hit his Jumping Tombstone for the win. After the break we hear Alex Wright's music play. It suddenly stops and a techno beat took its place. Out comes Disqo and the two dance their way to the ring. Disqo: BOOGIE KNIGHTS IN THE HOUSE! Where my dogs at, where they at? I just have one question for all of you out there, WHO LET THE DOG OUTS?? No seriously, the Boogie Knights are back here in WCW. We are going to lay down an open challenge to any tag team in the back to come out here and get an old fashion Brooklyn tushie kicking. Sirens blare as Scott Steiner and Rhino come out. Disqo and Wright looks shocked as they charge the ring.

pinned Disqo with the Piledriver in 0:06:45. Steiner and Rhino completely destroyed the Boogie Knights the official counted the pinfall on Disqo while Steiner had Wright in the Steiner Recliner.
Mikey Whipwreck pinned Little Guido Maritato with the Whippersnapper
in 0:05:58. Mikey Whipwreck defended his US Title against Little Guido. These two are no strangers to each other and it showed. The end came when Guido went for the Kiss of Death while Sal distracted the ref on the apron. Mikey shoved Guido into Sal and then hit the Whippersnapper for the win. After the break we see footage of Sting defeating Awesome as Souled Out. We then see Sting, Vampiro and Sting attack Awesome on Nitro. Now we go to the ring where Mike Awesome is teaming with Masato Tanaka against Sting and Vampiro.

Tanaka when Vampiro pinned M. Tanaka with the Nail In the Coffin in 0:08:15. This wasn't a tag match, it was street fight. On the outside Awesome and Sting brawled while Tanaka and Vamp fought in the ring. The end came as Sting gave Awesome the Scorpion Death Drop on the floor. In the ring Tanaka was setting up for Diamond Dust. Sting grabbed his ball bat and hit Tanaka. Vamp then hit the Nail in the Coffin for the win. After the break we see footage of Ric Flair debuting and defeating Sting on Nitro. We also see him booking this main event.
The Ministry (Hulk Hogan, Mortis, Owen Hart, Paul Wight and The
Undertaker) defeated The Hart Foundation, Booker T, Ray Traylor and
Ric Flair when Hogan pinned B. Hart with the Big Leg Drop in 0:13:26. This started as a ten-man brawl but soon boiled down to a tag match. Both teams had several chances to win but the other team would make the save. Mortis fell victim to the Hart Attack from the Hart Foundation, but Owen made the save. The Undertaker took the Traylor Park Trash Sidewalk Slam but Hogan made the save. Mortis gave Ric Flair the Flatliner, which Neidhart broke up. The end came when all ten men brawled in the ring. The Hart Foundation set up Hogan for the Hart Attack but Owen gave Neidhart an enziguri. Bret then gave Owen a hooking clothesline. He stood up right into a big boot from Hogan. Hogan then gave him the Big Leg Drop for the win. The Ministry then took their leave. We go off the air with the Ministry leaving The Hart Foundation lying and the other members of the team checking on them. |
