The Christmas version of Nitro is on the air.  We see footage of Spike Dudley pinning Jeff Jarrett in a tag team match during Thunder.  We then go to Hulk Hogan's office.

Hogan:  Welcome to Nitro everyone its your Commish here.   After seeing that Giant Killer Spike Dudley defeat Jeff Jarrett, I have no choice but to give Spike a match with Jarrett.  However, his buddy Kidman will be facing Mike Awesome.  The team of Rhino and Scott Steiner face the tag team champions in single matches.  We will have a four corners tag team match, Booker T will face Ministry member Sting and much more tonight.  Also, I have a big surprise for you CEO Gene.  But lets get to the ring to our first big match up today.

Lo Down defeated General Rection and Ray Traylor when D-Lo pinned Traylor after the Low Down in 0:07:34.
Rating: * 1/2

In our opening match, Lo Down got the win over Rection and Traylor.  Early on the camera picked up that Tiger Ali Singh was once again in the crowd.  In the ring, Rection and Traylor were destroying Chaz with power moves.  Rection and Traylor hit a double spinebuster and went for the cover, but D-Lo made the save, and things broke down.  Soon it was all four men in the ring.  This promoted Tiger Ali Singh to jump over the rail and pull Rection from the ring.  Tiger and Rection battled on the floor, giving Lo Down the advantage.  Chaz clips Rection, giving      D-Lo time to hit the Low Down and get the win.  We go to break with Rection chasing off Lo Down with a chair.

After the break we see Tiger Ali Singh along with Lo Down leaving in a limo.  We then go to the ring where William Regal is waiting.

Regal:  Hello everyone, it is I, William Regal.  I have been forced to face a man by the name of Rhino here tonight because of that muscle bound racist Hulk Hogan.  Well listen to me sunshine, you will have to destroy me and the entire Foreign Connection to take these titles.  So bring out this so called man monster Rhino so he can get a old school but kicking.

Rhino charges to the ring and our match is on.

Rhino pinned William Regal with the Piledriver in 0:11:36.
Rating: **

As Rhino entered the ring, Regal went on the offensive.  Regal hit three European Uppercuts, but Rhino just stared at him.  Regal then hit a low blow followed by a running lariat.  Rhino took that lariat and just laughed.  Rhino then punched Regal right in the face flooring Regal.  Rhino then stomped away on Regal.  This brought Rikishi down to ringside.  Rhino was distracted by Rikishi and Regal clipped Rhino and went to work on his knee.  Regal tried to put Rhino in a figure four, but the man monster just kicked him off.  Rhino then waited for Regal to stand and gored him.  Rhino then gored Rikishi as he tried to enter the ring.  Rhino then gored Regal a second time.  He picked him up, hit his Piledriver and the match was over with Rhino pinning one half of the tag champions.  We go to break with Rhino stomping away on Regal.

After the break we see that during the break Rhino piledrove Regal off the apron through the table.  We then see live that Regal is being loaded into an ambulance as Rikishi and Fit Finlay watch on.  In the ring, Alex Wright is awaiting Scott Steiner.

Alex Wright defeated Scott Steiner by disqualification in 0:06:21.
Rating: **

As Steiner came to ringside, Wright hit a slingshot bodyblock taking Steiner off his feet.  Wright then grabbed a chair and went after Steiner's back with several shots.  Wright then tossed Steiner into the ring.  In the ring Wright hit a missile dropkick followed by an elbow drop to the back.  Steiner came back however as Wright went for a flying bodyblock and Steiner just caught him.  Steiner hit a huge belly to belly suplex followed by a Steinerline.  Steiner then locked in the Steiner Recliner for the win.  However, Steiner refused to release the hold.  The official tried to pull Steiner off, but Steiner stood up and attacked them, went back and locked the Recliner back on Wright.  Finally the official, Mickey Jay reversed the decision.  This wasn't a wise move for Mickey, as Steiner attacked him with a Steinerline and locking him into the Steiner Recliner.  This brought out CEO Gene Bennett.

Gene:  Steiner, what the hell are you doing?  You can't do this.  You are lucky I don't suspend you right here and now.

Steiner:  Is that right CEO?  You are lucky I don't come down there and break your fat neck!

Gene:  Steiner, you can't put your hands on me.  No one in WCW can put your hands on me.

On the big screen we see Hollywood Hogan appears.

Hogan:  Gene, incase you weren't watching earlier, I promised you a big surprise.  If you will turn around you will see that surprise.

Gene turns around right into the chest of Paul Wight.  Gene looks up and the Wight grabs him around the throat.  Wight then Chokeslams Gene onto the stage.

Hogan:  And what is great about this Gene, is that this man doesn't work for WCW so you can't do anything about.  However, I think that The Giant deserves a slot here at WCW, why don't you come to the back and sign this contract.

We go to break with EMT's and officials checking on Gene.

After the break we see the CEO and Alex Wright both being loaded into ambulances.  We then go into the Commishs office where Hollywood, Steiner, Wight, and Rhino are all celebrating.

Hogan:  I told you that jackass Bennett was dumb enough to come out if you attacked that fat ref Steiner.  And Wight, it is great to have you back with WCW.  I told you that you would make an impact didn't I big man.  Now just sign this contract and let Hollywood do the rest.

Wight signs the contract as we go to the ring for a four way tag team match.

Four Corners Match:
Kronik defeated Just Joe and Barry Horowitz, The F.B.I and
The Ministry (Gangrel/Papa Shango) when Clark pinned L. Guido after a powerslam in 0:02:03.
Rating: 1/2*

In the tag team match, we saw the return of old Kronik. Kronik came in and destroyed all three teams, along with the help of Big Vito, who laid out both Papa Shango and Gangrel with the stick ball bat.  In the ring the other four men all felt High Times.  Bryan Clark then hit a powerslam on Guido for the win.  Kronik then hit Big Sal with High Times before leaving.  We then go to the back where Big Vito is with Scott Hudson.

Scott:  Big Vito, after last week you made a big return here tonight and attacked Gangrel and Papa Shango.

Vito:  Scott, you can't keep a good man down, and they won't be able to keep me down.  But I am not done here tonight.  I want you Undertaker in the ring tonight.

Scott:  Vito, I just got word that the Commish Hollywood Hogan just signed you to face Papa Shango in a hardcore match at Sin this Sunday.

Vito:  That is fine with me Scott.  I am the most hardcore man here in WCW, and after I destroy Taker tonight I will finish off you Shango.

We then go to break.  After the break we see Booker T and Sting locking up.

Booker T pinned Sting with the Book End in 0:11:52.
Rating: **

The two men lock up and the match is on.  Sting goes right to work on the back of Booker with several forearm shots.  Sting then hits a suplex followed by a flying elbow.  Sting then goes for the Scorpion Death Lock, but Booker rolls him up for a two count.  Booker then comes back with a lariat and a flying dropkick.  Booker hit a jumping sidekick and Sting went to the floor.  Booker follows and the two fight up the ramp.  On the ramp way the two exchange right hands until Mikey Whipwreck attacks Booker.  Mikey and Sting then work over Booker, but Booker comes back.  Booker fights both men off and sends Sting back into the ring.  In the ring Booker hit a missile dropkick, but Mikey jumped onto the apron before Booker could cover him.  Booker swings at Mikey, but he ducks and hits the Whippersnapper over the top rope.  Mikey then tries to throw a fireball at Booker, but he ducks and the ball hits Sting right in the face.  Booker knocks Mikey off the apron and hits Sting with the Book End for the win.  We go to break with Mikey helping Sting.

After the break we see footage of Fit Finlay defeating both Taylor and Christopher in the last few weeks.  Then we go to the ring where Finlay is facing both men in a three way dance.

Triangle Match:
Fit Finlay defeated Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor when Finlay pinned Christopher with the Tombstone Piledriver in 0:07:13.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Fit Finlay retained the WCW TV Title.)

Fit Finlay spent much of this match watching former tag team partners go at it.  However, when Finlay was in the ring, the former partners joined forces and worked on Finlay.  Near the end of the match, we saw Rikishi come to the ringside area and attack Scott Taylor.  Inside the ring Finlay countered a flying bodyblock into a Tombstone for the win.  Finlay tosses Brian from the ring and Rikishi tosses Taylor into the ring.  Finlay and Rikishi go to work on Taylor double teaming him.  However, from the back out runs Lance Storm with a chair to make the save.  We go to break with Finlay and Rikishi laughing at the damage done to Taylor and Christopher.

After the break we see Taylor getting checked out by the trainer.  We then go to the ring where Vito is awaiting the Undertaker.

The Undertaker pinned Big Vito after a choke slam in 0:02:40.
Rating: 1/2*

As the Undertaker entered the ring, Vito attacked him with the stick ball bat.  Vito then hit a running DDT for a two count.  Then from the back out ran Papa Shango.  Shango distracted Vito long enough for Taker to recover and hit Vito with a choke slam for the win.  Papa Shango and Taker then double teamed Vito until Taker's opponent at Sin, Chris Kanyon, made the save.  We go to break with Vito and Kanyon challenging Shango and Taker to return to the ring.

After the break we see that Chris Kanyon and Lance Storm are locking up.

Chris Kanyon pinned Lance Storm with the Kanyon Cutter in 0:05:08.
Rating: **

In a great match, both men showed that they are great athletes.  Early on Kanyon hit a flying lariat that knocked Storm out of the ring.  As Storm went to enter the ring, Kanyon held the ropes open.  Moments later Storm hit a dropkick knocking Kanyon out of the ring.  Much like earlier, Storm held the ropes while Kanyon re-entered the ring.  The end of the match saw Storm go for the Maple Leaf, and had it locked in, but Kanyon kicked him off into the corner.  As Storm turned around, Kanyon hit the Kanyon Cutter for the win.  We go to break with Kanyon and Storm shaking hands.

After the break we see footage of Kidman and Spike Dudley defeating Jeff Jarrett and Mike Awesome on Thunder.  We then go to the ring where Kidman and Awesome are facing off.

Mike Awesome pinned Billy Kidman after a sitdown in 0:03:40.
Rating: ** 3/4

In a short match, Kidman was just out powered.  Kidman hit three dropkicks, but Awesome just laughed.  Awesome then hit a lariat followed by a powerbomb.  However, Spike Dudley came down and distracted Awesome.  This gave Kidman time to re-cover and went to the top.  Kidman went for a flying sunset flip, but Awesome sat down and hooked Kidman's legs for the win.  We go to break with Dudley pulling Kidman out before Awesome can attack more.

After the break we see Spike Dudley in the ring awaiting Jeff Jarrett.  Jarrett comes out and takes the mic.

Jarrett:  Spike Dudley, you little inbred bastard.  You think you deserve to be in the ring with the Chosen One?  Let me tell you where you belong, back in Dudleyville being Big Dick Dudley's bitch!  But tonight you are going to be my BITCH!

With that Jarrett enters the ring and the two men start the match.

Jeff Jarrett pinned Spike Dudley with the Stroke in 0:07:14.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Jeff Jarrett retained the WCW World Title.)

As Jarrett hit the ring Spike went right after him.  Spike just hammered away on Jarrett.  Spike then hit a dropkick that sent Jarrett to the floor.  From the back out came Mike Awesome and the two talked.  Jarrett re-entered the ring and then poked Spike in the eye.  Jarrett then tossed Spike to the floor.  On the floor Mike Awesome hit a running lariat and tossed Spike back in the ring.  This brought out Billy Kidman who went after Awesome, but Awesome once again overpowered Kidman.  In the ring Spike was getting worked on with a figure four.  Security comes out and takes Mike Awesome to the back while Billy Kidman is laying nearly knocked out on the floor.  In the ring Spike began to make a comeback after making it to the ropes and breaking the figure four.  On the floor Kidman pulled himself up, and happened to grab Jarrett's guitar. Spike went for the Acid Drop, but Jarrett spun him around, but Spike flipped over Jarrett.  This is when Kidman swung the guitar, but Jarrett moved and the guitar hit Spike.  Jarrett then hit a dropkick on Kidman.  Spike stood up a bloody mess and Jarrett hit the Stroke and got the win.  We leave the air with Jarrett stomping away at Spike.
