Worldwide Taping:
Hardcore Match:
Rhino pinned Big Vito with the Piledriver in 0:05:59.
Rating: 3/4*

The first of three Worldwide matches saw Rhino and Big Vito lock up once more, this time in hardcore action.  The use of chairs and tables were very obvious.  Vito came out with his stickball bat and actually broke it over Rhino's back.  Rhino however took it in stride as he later gored Vito through a table in the corner and executed a piledriver for the win.

Worldwide Taping:
Papa Shango defeated Lance Storm via pinfall in 0:02:38.
Rating: * 1/4

The second Worldwide match saw Papa Shango of the Ministry take on Lance Storm of the Hart Foundation.  This match was short at the ref took a bump.  This allowed Shango to spray sparks into the face of Storm from his Voodoo stick and get the pin.

Worldwide Taping:
Kronik defeated The F.B.I when Clark pinned L. Guido with the Meltdown in 0:03:57.
Rating: *

In the last of the Worldwide Tapings, Kronik faces off with the F.B.I.  This match was short as Clark finished Guido off with the Meltdown.  However from the back out ran Too Cool and Lo Down and we once again see a four team brawl before Starrcade this Sunday.

Fireworks go off as Nitro comes on the air.  We see clips of the Sting/Booker T vs. Papa Shango/Undertaker match.  We also see Chris Kanyon get the win in the fatal four way between himself, Masato Tanaka, Goldberg and Mike Awesome.  We then go to the ring where Hollywood Hogan is standing with the mic.

Hogan:  Hello everyone, and welcome to NITRO!!  I want to address Starrcade, this Sunday.  After the brawl we saw on Thunder (as Hogan talks we see clips of the Tag Team Brawl from Thunder).  So at Starrcade I am going to put all four teams into a four way dance for the titles.  The winning team will be the team left standing.  I also want to talk about you Mikey Whipwreck.  You have thrown fireballs and hit people with chairs, so tonight you will face the toughest SOB in this company, GOLDBERG!

Suddenly the Foreign Connection's music plays as Fit Finlay comes out from the back.

Finlay:  Hold it right there.  You want to talk about tough, you look no further then right here.  I am tougher then Goldberg, or that little midget Whipwreck.

Hogan:  Ok, you can try to prove it tonight in a three way dance against Mikey and Finlay.

We then go to the back where Chris Kanyon is arriving.  Kanyon sees the parking attendant and starts to stalk him for a Kanyon Cutter when Jeff Jarrett grabs him.

Jarrett:  Listen up slappy, people are saying that you are now the man because you beat those other three slapasses on Thunder.  Well I am the mane with all the stroke around here and I am going to prove it.  Tonight slapnut, your ass is mine.

Kanyon:  Jarrett, all I have to say to you is that you will FEEL THE BANG!!!

Jarrett walks away, and Kanyon turns around to see that the attendant has got away.  We go to break with Kanyon looking pissed off at Jarrett.

After the break we see that Lo Down in the ring awaiting Too Cool.  Too Cool rushes the ring and the match begins.

Lo Down defeated Too Cool when D-Lo pinned Sexay after a running power bomb in 0:08:43.
Rating: * 1/2

Both teams brawled early on and then it was Grandmaster and Chaz.  Lo Down took over and used illegal double teams moves to keep Grandmaster in the ring.  After a hot tag to Scotty.  Scotty came in like a house of fire attacking both members of Lo Down.  Scotty hit his bulldog on D-Lo and signaled for the Worm, but Chaz came in and hit him from behind sending him through the ropes.  As he went out he made the tag to Grandmaster.  Grandmaster attempted to fight both men off, but it was no use.  Chaz hit an Inverted Death Valley Driver, and D-Lo hit a running powerbomb for the win.  Lo Down continued the attack on Grandmaster when the arena went green and Kronik charged the ring.  Lo Down and Kronik brawled as Too Cool tried to leave, but The F.B.I cut them off on the ramp and we again see all four teams brawl to break.

In the back we see Sting talking to Bret Hart.

Sting:  Listen Bret, tonight we have a three way dance between you, Rikishi and me.  Rikishi has been bad mouthing the USA.

Bret:  I don't care about the USA.  But I am not going to have him running around giving Non-US wrestlers a bad name around here.

Sting:  Then how about we team up against Rikishi and get him OUT of WCW once and for all?

Bret:  I will think about it.

Sting:  Remember out there though, its, its, ITS SHOWTIME!!

We go to break with Hart shaking his head.

After the break we see Just Joe and Barry Horowitz in the ring.

Barry:  Joe, what did I tell you?  I am a winner, and I destroyed Spike Thursday night.  Tonight I am calling out anyone from the back.

Joe looks like he is scared to death to even be in the ring.

The Zoo by the Scorpions play as Mike Awesome comes out with the mic.

Awesome:  Barry, Joe, you two are dead men.  I am going to kick both of your asses!!

Mike throws the mic down and charges the ring.

Handicap-Match:
Mike Awesome defeated Just Joe and Barry Horowitz when Awesome pinned Joe with the Awesome Bomb in 0:03:59.
Rating: 3/4*

Mike completely destroyed both men.  It wasn't even a contest.  Mike hit both men with running Awesome Bombs, Frog Splashes.  And finished the match off by placing Just Joe on top of two tapes and then executing a top rope Awesome Bomb through both tables and then pinned Joe.  Awesome then grabbed the mic.

Awesome:  Tanaka, this isn't over, not by a long shot.  These two boys are just the first of many victims until I get my shot at crippling you ONE LAST TIME!!!

Awesome then kicked the ref, Scott Armstrong, in the midsection and hit a running Awesome Bomb over the top rope and through a table.  We go to break with security and EMT's checking on the three men.

After the break we see footage of the Undertaker attacking Booker T on Thursday.  We then go to WCW's newest broadcast man, Stevie Ray who is with his brother.

Stevie:  Booker, tonight you try to get revenge on the Undertaker for chokeslamming you on the floor.  But what suckas wanna know is if Mikey Whipwreck is going to stick his nose into your business one more time?

Booker:  Well brother, let me say this, I hope that sucka does.  Because Mikey, after I beat that undead freak, I am coming after you.  And Mikey, DON'T HATE THE PLAYER, HATE THE GAME!!

Back in the ring we see William Regal with a mic.

Regal:  Hello everyone, or as you American's would say, howdy y'all.  Now once again it seems that our commissioner has placed me to in a match with some blood American.  Rection, myself along with Alex Wright completely destroyed you a few weeks back on Thunder, and then even your partner left you.  Rection, that should prove to you that you, like American, is nothing.

General Rection appears on the ramp.

Rection:  Regal, how about you SHUT THE HELL UP!!  I am going to give you a beating just like America did when he kicked the British off our land in the first place!

Rection throws the mic down and charges the ring.  As he heads to the ring we see the rest of the Connection coming through the crowd.

William Regal pinned General Rection after a small package in 0:02:34.
Rating: * 3/4

Rection and Wright meet first and Rection knocks him down with a lariat.  Next Finlay goes down to a series of rights.  Rection then works on Rikishi with rights and lefts when Regal attacks.  Inside the ring Rection reverses an Irish whip and hits a powerslam and signals for the Raging Climax, but Rikishi pulls Regal out of the way.  Regal then catches a stunned Rection in a small package for the three count win.  The entire Connection hit the ring and attack Rection.  This brings out Billy Kidman and Ray Traylor from the back.  Kidman knocks Alex Wright out of the ring with a huge lariat while Traylor holds Rikishi and Finlay off with the nightstick.  We go to break with Traylor checking on his friend Rection.

After the break we see Kidman in the back with Rection being loaded into an ambulance.  In the ring Ray Traylor has the mic.

Traylor:  Over the past few weeks, I have been brutalized by just about everyone here.  Rhino, Steiner, and The Ministry have all taken their turns.  Well tonight I want you Steiner in this ring.  I am going to teach you respect.

Sirens go off as Scott Steiner comes out with one eye covered after taking a fireball in the face from Mikey on Thunder.

Steiner:  Traylor, you southern bastard, you want to call me out?  I WILL KICK YOUR DAMN ASS!!

Steiner throws down the mic and charges the ring.

Scott Steiner pinned Ray Traylor after hitting him with a foreign object in
0:04:31.
Rating: * 1/4

Steiner and Traylor tear right into each other.  The official tries to pull them apart, but gets knocked out by a stray Steiner right.  This brings out Rhino, who attacks Traylor.  Steiner lays Traylor on a table in the corner and Rhino charges, but Traylor moves.  He turns around right into a shot from the lead pipe that Steiner's Midajah tossed in. Steiner hits Traylor right between the eyes and Rhino forces the ref to make the three count.  After the match Steiner locks in the Steiner Recliner.  Officials storm the ring, but Rhino holds them off.  Voodoo Child then plays as the commissioner comes out.

Hogan:  Steiner, if you don't let him go you are fired.

Steiner:  Hogan, you fake tanned, wrinkled skin bastard.  You don't have the balls to fire me.  Because if you do I will come down there and kick your damn ass like I should have back in the New World Order!

Hogan:  Steiner, either you release Ray and along with Rhino stop abusing officials or not only will you be fired but arrested.

Steiner:  Those cops don't mean S@#$ to me.  I will F(*& them all up.  You can't do nothing to stop me Hogan.

Hogan:  Ok, I won't fire you.  I will take your shot at the title way and be sure you never get one, EVER!!

Steiner:  Ok, you can have your bitch back. But Hogan, if you ever try to get in my damn business again it will be your ass in I stretching.

With that Steiner and Rhino leave as backstage personal and officials help the men in the ring.

After the break we see footage again of the Undertaker chokeslamming Booker T on the floor.

Back in the arena we see The Ministry surrounding the ring.  Then Booker T comes to the ring and the match is on.

Booker T pinned The Undertaker with the Book End in 0:07:42.
Rating: ** 3/4

Booker T takes Gangrel and Papa Shango both down with a double clothesline.  Then goes after the Taker.  Booker hits a slingshot lariat into the ring, followed up by a Harlem Sidekick.  Booker then hit a Spinebuster and signaled for the Book End.  This brought out Mikey Whipwreck from the back with a chair.  The distraction was enough to allow Taker to take over.  Taker hit a flying lariat.  This whole time Mikey is on the apron with a chair.  Taker then goes for a Tombstone, but Booker floats over and shoves Taker right into Mikey and face first into the chair.  Taker turns around right into the Book End for the win.  Mikey enters and with Gangrel and Papa Shango work on Booker T.  This brings out Booker's brother Stevie Ray and newcomer Masato Tanaka for the save.  We go to break with Tanaka yelling at the Ministry.

After the break we see that Tanaka and Gangrel had a pull apart and that Hollywood Hogan ordered a match between the two men.

Masato Tanaka pinned Gangrel with the Diamond Dust in 0:07:57.
Rating: ** 3/4

Gangrel in his best showing to date put up quite a fight.  Gangrel got a near fall with his Impaler DDT, but Tanaka somehow kicked out.  Then Tanaka hit a Roaring Elbow followed by a Tornado DDT.  He then hit Gangrel with Diamond Dust for the win.  This brought out Mikey Whipwreck, who once again decided to play with fire.  Tanaka, much like Scott Steiner Thursday, took a fire ball in the face.  We go to break with Tanaka rolling on the mat in pain.

After the break we see Tanaka being loaded into an ambulance.  In the background we see Mikey Whipwreck sitting at the feet of the Undertaker, with Taker patting him on the head like he was a dog.

Back in the ring we see Spike Dudley and Owen Hart locking up.

Spike Dudley pinned Owen Hart after a moonsault bodyblock in 0:03:58.
Rating: ** 1/4

In a short match up, Owen made the mistake of being distracted by the Foreign Connection on the ramp way.  This allowed Spike to go for the Acid Drop, which Owen countered with a throw off.  Spike however landed on the ropes and hit a moonsault for the upset win.  The Foreign Connection entered the ring and tried to attack both men, but Billy Kidman and the rest of the Hart Foundation made the save.

After the break we see footage Kidman making the save for both General Rection and Owen Hart.  In the ring Alex Wright and Billy Kidman are squaring off.

Alex Wright pinned Billy Kidman with the Reverse Neckbreaker in 0:05:41.
Rating: ** 1/4

In another short match, we see Wright get the duke in this one thanks to the brawl on the outside.  During the break Lance, Bret and Owen brawled with Finlay, Regal and Rikishi on the outside.  It continued during the match.  Kidman had the match won, but allowed himself to be distracted by Regal and Owen.  This allowed Wright to hit a Reverse Neckbreaker for the win.  The brawl continued and finally security and officials come down.  We go to break with all eight men brawling.

After the break we see that Owen, Lance, Billy, Alex, and William Regal are all being loaded into police cars.  Fit Finlay has been locked in his locker room until his match.  In the ring we have two thirds of a three way dance.  Rikishi and Bret.  Suddenly the lights go out and Sting comes out.

No-Countout-No-DQ-3-Man Battle Royal:
Sting won a 3-man Battle Royal:
x Sting defeated Rikishi after a flying bodypress in 0:14:54
x Sting defeated B. Hart after the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:15:49
Rating: *** 1/4

Sting comes in and goes right to work along with Bret against Rikishi.  They work over Rikishi until Hart goes for a dropkick while Sting holds him and Rikishi moves.  Sting and Hart battle, and it becomes a true three way dance.  However when Rikishi was eliminated, it was because of teamwork.  Sting and Hart hit a version of Total Elimination.  Sting hit a flying bodypress while Hart clipped Rikishi's knees setting up his elimination.  Moment's later Hart went for a vertical suplex, which Sting countered into the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.

We go to break with footage of Chris Kanyon coming to the ring.

After the break we see Kanyon in the ring with the mic.

Kanyon:  Jeff Jarrett, you claim you have all the Stroke around here?  Well from what the boys tell me you do in your locker room that's true.  So slappy, get ready to FEEL, MY, BANG!!!

Jeff Jarrett comes through the crowd and attacks Kanyon from behind.

Jeff Jarrett pinned Chris Kanyon with the Stroke in 0:07:18.

Rating: *

Jarrett clips Kanyon to start the match and works on his knee the entire time.  Jarrett locks in the figure four and Kanyon barely makes it to the ropes.  Jarrett however ducked to soon on an attempted back body drop and Kanyon hits a swinging fisherman's suplex.  Kanyon hits a spinebuster and signals for the Kanyon Cutter.  Jarrett counters with a low blow and then hits the Stroke for the win.  After the match Jarrett breaks the guitar over Kanyon's head for good measure.

After the match we see that The Hart Foundation and the Foreign Connection have been released from the police cars.  We then see footage of Fit Finlay getting into this match.  We see that Fit Finlay comes to the ring with the Foreign Connection.  Mikey comes out with his new friends the Ministry.  Goldberg however, like usual, comes out alone.

No-Countout-No-DQ-3-Man Battle Royal:

Bill Goldberg won a 3-man Battle Royal:

x Whipwreck defeated Finlay after the Whippersnapper in 0:09:46

x Goldberg defeated Whipwreck after the Jackhammer in 0:10:20

Rating: **

This match had no real alliances.  All three men were attacking each other.  Team work usually lasted a move or two before one man would turn on the other.  The first elimination happened as Finlay leapfrogged Goldberg's spear attempt.  Mikey was waiting and hit the Whippersnapper for the pinfall.  However Goldberg speared Mikey and Jackhammered his way to yet another win here in WCW.  The Ministry jumped into the ring and attacked Goldberg as soon as the bell rang.  The Connection then came in and we had nine people brawling in the ring.  From the back the Hart Foundation and Billy Kidman come out, followed by Booker T and Masato Tanaka.  Soon then entire locker room, tag teams and all were brawling in the ring.  The entire WCW roster is in the ring fighting as we go off the air.
