The show starts off with fireworks as the First Nitro of a new era begins.  Suddenly Voodoo Child plays as The Commish Hollywood Hogan comes to the ring.

Hogan:  Welcome to the NEW era of World Championship Wrestling.  At Starrcade, on December 3rd, we will see four new champions crowned.  On Thunder this week, I will debut the brackets for the World, US, TV and Tag Team Titles.  Just to give you a tease I will give you all four of the men in the World Title tournament.  Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Mike Awesome, Booker T, and Jeff Jarrett.

Suddenly The American Bad Ass by Kid Rock plays over the PA.  Hogan looks stunned.  The music suddenly changes too the OLD Undertaker's music.  The Ministries music plays as The Undertaker dressed in rob and all walks to the ring.

Taker:  Hogan, do you remember me?  Do you remember when I ended Hulkamania?

Hogan:  Hold it right there brotha, you did that with the help of some horse nosed, bucked tooth loser.  You only got over because of me.

Taker:  If that is true, then I will have to do it again!

Suddenly like lightning The Undertaker has Hogan in a goozle.  The lights then go out and we hear thunder.  Sting runs to the ring and makes the save for Hogan.  Hogan rolls from the ring as Sting and Taker exchange rights.  Then from the back we see Papa Shango and Gangrel run from the back making it three on one.  Officials run from the back breaking it up.  The Undertaker raises his hands and the turnbuckles explode with fire.  Sting then grabs the mic.

Sting:  Undertaker, you and I haven't been in the ring for a long time.  But Mark, you think back to when we were, and remember the way I kicked your ass.  Because it will be the same way all over again.....cause its...its...its...SHOWTIME!!!!

After the break we see our first match up.  First out comes Just Joe.  Out next comes William Regal along with a mic.

Regal:  Hello everyone out there, it is I, William Regal.  I would like to wish everyone a jolly good evening.  Tonight I see that our Commissioner Mr. Hogan has signed me to wrestler someone by the name of...Just Joe.  Now Mr. Hogan, being American, you are probably not familiar with my work.  (We see in the back ground Positively Kanyon give a stage hand the Kanyon Cutter.)  I have wrestled on all seven continents of the world.  I have wrestled in the Tar Pits, and in front of Kings and Queens.  So next time Mr. Hogan, instead of being a stupid American, please put me in the ring with someone worthy of my skills, thank you and have a nice day.

William Regal pinned Just Joe after a double underhook superplex in 0:04:11.
Rating: *

William Regal makes short work of Just Joe.  We see in the crowd 'Bad' Barry Horowitz sitting front row.  Early on Just Joe takes Regal down with arm drags and hip tosses.  However after missing a flying elbow, Regal took over.  As Regal took over, we see Alex Wright walk out on the ramp.  Regal hit a snap suplex, followed by a double underhook superplex for the win.  After the match, William Regal kept up the attack, and locked in the Regal Stretch.  Then from out of the crowd came Bad Barry and broke it up.  Horowitz hit several European Uppercuts followed by a dropkick to send Regal to the floor.  This brought Alex Wright to the ring and he said something to Regal.  Regal then shook his hand and left together.  We go to break with Barry Horowitz checking on Just Joe.

After the break we see Barry Horowitz in the ring with a mic.

Barry:  You know, after what I have just seen, there is no sportsmanship in this federation.  No one back there has any resp...

Suddenly Highway to Hell plays as 'Little' Spike Dudley comes to the ring.

Barry:  This is what I am talking about.  You just couldn't give me my time.

Spike:  Listen Barry, I have a match, and that is all...

Horowitz nails Spike and the bell rings and we have Horowitz and Dudley one on one.

Spike Dudley pinned Barry Horowitz with the Acid Drop in 0:01:42.
Rating: * 1/2

Horowitz went to work early on Spike's arm.  He hit several hammerlock slams.  However, he took time to pat himself on the back.  Spike jumped up and hit the Acid Drop for a quick win.  This brought Just Joe in.

Spike Dudley pinned Just Joe with the Acid Drop in 0:00:10.
Rating: * 1/2

Joe missed a right hand, and Spike hit him with an Acid Drop, and the official made another three count.  We go to commercial with Spike standing on both me beating his chest.

After the break we see Pamela Paulshock standing by with General Rection.

Pamela:  General, tonight you face off again German's own Alex Wright.

General:  Pamela, since this new era has begun, I have lost my Misfits.  I am a man without an army, but I will not stop fighting for my country.  But I don't want to talk about Alex, I want to talk about you Regal.  You want to bad mouth America?  Well next time you do, you will be red and blue, because I will have you bleeding all over and you will be blue from me beating on you!

General Rection walks away, then the camera falls to the floor.  We then see Chris Kanyon's face appear giving the sign for the Kanyon Cutter

Back in the ring we see our first tag team match up starting.

The F.B.I defeated Too Cool when L. Guido made Scotty Too Hotty submit to an armbar submission in 0:06:46.
Rating: *** ¾

The Full Blood Italians and Too Cool but on a great show.  Early on Scotty hit his WORM on Tony Mamaluke, but Guido broke up the pinfall.  Guido then hit the Kiss of Death on Scotty, which Grandmaster broke up.  Grandmaster went to clothesline Mamaluke out of the ring, but he ducked and Grandmaster crashed to the floor.  Guido and Mamaluke then hit a spiked Kiss of Death and Mamaluke went for the pin.  Grandmaster made the save and they both fell to the floor.  Guido then locked on an armbar and Scotty had no choice but to submit.  From the back out ran Kronik, who laid out both teams with High Times before leaving.  Sal E. tried to save Mamaluke, but Kronik wouldn't be stopped.  The even hit the over 600 pound monster with High Times as we went to break.

After the break we see Alex Wright locking up with General Rection.

Alex Wright defeated General Rection by countout in 0:09:21.
Rating: 3/4*

The General had the advantage early on, which brought William Regal from the back to ring side.  This distraction gave Wright the advantage.  Wright hit several moonsaults, but couldn't keep Rection down.  The General began a comeback, and that is when Regal interfered.  Regal hooked the top rope and Rection fell to the floor while Wright faked a knee injury.  Rection and Regal brawled on the outside and the official Scott Armstrong counted both Rection out, giving Wright the count out win.  Wright and Regal then went to work on Rection setting his leg into a chair.  Wright went to the top, but Ray Traylor ran out and made the save.  We go to break with Traylor holding Wright and Regal at bay.

After the break we see 'That 70's Bus' pull up and Mike Awesome step out.  From behind runs Positively Kanyon, who nails Awesome with a Kanyon Cutter and then runs off.

Back inside we see Pamela Paulshock with Owen and Bret Hart.

Pamela:  Guys, how does it feel to be back together after a few years apart?

Bret:  It feels great, I can finally be what I want to be, myself.  No more telling the fans I hate them, no more telling the American's I don't like them, no more anything, just great tag team wrestling from the greatest brother tag team ever, Hart Brothers.

Owen:  That's right Bret, after my last tag team partner, Jeff Jarrett, I couldn't wait to get back with a real wrestl&ldots;

Suddenly a guitar is smashed over Owen's head and we see a metal pipe nail Bret in the back.  We then see Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner appear on screen.

Jeff:  Well if it isn't the blonde Slapnut, how have you been you blonde bimbo?  Never mind, I don't care.  I am here to talk about these two slapass.  Owen, you want to talk about me, well slappy, you should have done it to my face.  Because I have all the Stroke around here and you ain't nothing but a bitch.

Scott:  You want to talk about the greatest brother tag team ever Bret?  We all know that is my brother Rick and myself, you *bleeping* Canadian piece of * bleep*.  Next time I see you Bret, you better make sure you keep your *bleeping* mouth shut.

We go to break with EMT's checking on the Hart Brothers.

After the break we see the Mike Awesome storming to the ring.

Mike:  Chris Kanyon, you want to jump me from behind?  You think you can go around Kanyon cutting whoever you want?  I want your ass in the ring now!

Kanyon's music begins, and we see a man whipping the sweat off the ropes.  The music continues but no Kanyon.  Then the man whipping the ropes throws off his wig and it is Kanyon, he attacks Awesome from behind and the match begins.

Mike Awesome pinned Chris Kanyon with the Awesome Bomb in 0:10:37.
Rating: *** ½

In a very solid match up, both men held nothing back.  Early on Kanyon went for the Kanyon Cutter, but Awesome just shoved him away.  Later as Awesome went for the Awesome bomb, Kanyon slide down the back and hit the Kanyon Cutter for what looked to be a sure win, but Awesome got his foot under the ropes.  Kanyon then went to the top, but got crotched by Awesome.  Awesome then hit a top rope Awesome Bomb for the win.  We then see sitting front row from rival Masato Tanaka.  He stands up and points to Awesome, who holds the ropes open.  This allows Chris Kanyon to recover and nail Awesome with a Kanyon Cutter as we go to break.

After the break we see Mike Awesome throwing a fit in the locker room screaming about Tanaka.  Back in the ring Lo Down awaits the team of Papa Shango and Gangrel.

Papa Shango and Gangrel defeated Lo Down when Gangrel pinned Chaz with the Impaler in 0:04:57.
Rating: * ½

In a match that was nothing but a squash, the Undertaker's minions got the win.  After the match, they continued the attack until Sting ran out with his baseball bat for the save.

We see that Rikishi Phatu is making his way to the ring as we go to break.

After the break we see Rikishi enter the ring.

Rikishi:  I am the man that ran down Stone Cold Steve Austin.  I am the man that crippled that drunk bastard.  I am the man that will stop all of the 'Great White Hopes' which brings me to a man that I passes in the back.  That man is you Goldberg, you reminded me of Austin, yet not as good.  When all Austin can do is punch and kick, at least he is good at it, you can't even do that right.  So to you Goldberg, I say anytime any&ldots;.

The drums begin and the crowd starts to chant "Goldberg, Goldberg" as the fireworks go off.  Goldberg walks through the curtain and Rikishi charges.

Bill Goldberg pinned Rikishi Phatu after a spear in 0:04:52.
Rating: ** ¼

In a short but physical bout, both men went right after each other.  On the outside the exchanged rights and lefts, but Rikishi took Goldberg down with a savate kick.  Back in the ring, Rikishi nailed a Samoan Drop and went for a running legdrop, but Goldberg moved.  Goldberg then speared the big man and got the win.  As Goldberg starts to leave Alex Wright and William Regal attack him and throw him back into the ring.  Rikishi hits him with the Bonzi Drop and leaves.  We go to break as Goldberg lays motionless in the ring after an attack by three men.

After the break we see Pamela Paulshock along with Alex Wright, William Regal and Rikishi.

Pamela:  You three have been causing problems all night, what is the deal?

William:  Excuse me, but please have some manners when addressing us.

Rikishi:  I will tell what the deal is Pam, it is these damn American's.  They don't have any respect for anyone.  They booed me when I was a Headshrinker, they booed me when I tried to make a difference.  The only time they didn't boo me was when I went out and made an ass out of myself.

William:  And he means that literally my young friend.  You are probably too young to remember back when being from the islands made you respected like this man's relatives, Afa, Samu, and the many others.  He deserves respect, much like this man right here.  Alex Wright came into WCW and took on all the top names in the business.  He has wrestled just about everyone, from Bobby Eaton to Ric Flair, and does he get respect, I am afraid not.

Rikishi:  What my friend William is trying to say is that we are no longer going to sit back and be disrespect.  From here on out, we will get respect out of people&ldots;EVEN IF WE HAVE TO BEAT IT OUT OF THEM!!

We see the Undertaker flanked by Papa Shango and Gangrel walking to the ring for our main event.

After the break we see The Undertaker come in.  Then the lights go out and the thunder and lightning starts up signaling Sting's entrance.  From the rafters comes Sting.  He nails both Gangrel and Shango with the bat and the match begins.

Sting pinned The Undertaker with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:13:38.
Rating: *** ¼

Early on Sting had the advantage with a series of rights and lefts.  He hit several hip tosses and a lariat that takes Taker over the top.  Sting jumps onto with a plancha and then attacks his minions.  This gave Taker a chance to recover.  Undertaker grabbed a chair and leveled Sting and rolled him into the ring.  Taker took control and hit a his Last RITES Powerbomb, and nearly gets a three count.  Taker then goes for his Tombstone, but Sting floats over and nails the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.  The Taker's minions attack Sting, but from the back out runs General Rection and Ray Traylor for the save.  We leave the air with Traylor holding the Ministry off with his Nightstick and Rection with a chair.
