Pro Taping: Thunder came on the air with footage of Hulk Hogan's return to the ring. We then go to the office of the Commissioner. Hogan: Hello everyone, and welcome to Thunder. Tonight I am going to book a great show. Tonight you Booker T will face off against my man Paul Wight. Also Vader you will face Rikishi. With that out of the way, I think we need a big main event, so I will team up Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart against Mike Awesome and his partner Masato Tanaka. Also since Lance Storm didn't defend his title last night, I think he needs a tough opponent tonight, so he will face The Undertaker for that TV Title. Thank you and enjoy your evening. We then go to the arena where Scott Hudson and Mike Tenay are announcing. Hudson: What a main event as two men that hate each other, Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka team up to face two men that I think were trying to patch things up.
Tenay: Well it seemed like both Owen and Jeff
tried to help the other Monday night, but just kept messing up Scott.
But right now we see one half of the former tag team Kronik, Brian
Adams, face off with General Rection.
General Rection defeated Brian Adams by disqualification in 0:01:58. In a short match, Rection really dominated. He went to the top for the Raging Climax, but Adams hit a low blow. The ref tried to warn Adams and Adams knocked him down, causing the DQ. Adams went and got a chair and was going to work over Rection, but Bryan Clark came out for the save. We go to break with Clark holding Adams off. After the break we Mark Madden with Brian Adams. Madden: Brian Adams, Monday night you turned on Bryan Clark, what was your reasoning? Adams: That punk Clark has been breaking my back for years. Madden: What?? How?? Adams: He has been breaking my back because I have had to carry him the whole damn time. Then he opened his mouth making stipulations without talking with me, the team captain. Then he stops me from ending that fat bastards career in the ring. Clark, you are pissing me off. Now get out of my way fat boy. Madden: Someone really pissed him off. Back to you baldie. Scott: Well Mike, Brian Adams really has a chip on his shoulder. Mike: That is for sure. But right now lets go to footage taped earlier tonight. We go to the office of the CEO Gene Bennett. We see Gene doing paper work when Lo Down and Tiger Ali Singh come in. Tiger: Listen Mr. Bennett, we need to talk. This company is full of racist. Since I have joined up with Lo Down, everyone has been against them. Gene: Tiger, personally I didn't even know you were with the company, do you have a contract with us? Tiger: Yes I do, what kind of CEO are you? Gene: I am sorry Tiger, I was in the hospital and you can see I am way behind on paper work. I tell you what, just to be fair, I will give your boys a title match tonight. If they don't win however, they won't be getting a title match for some time. D-Lo: Just make sure that those psycho's Steiner or Rhino don't interfere. Gene: You got my word guys, now please let me get back to work. Hudson: Looks like Lo Down will be facing the Tag Team champions tonight. Tenay: But they didn't get the match for the right reasons. They claimed racism even though I didn't know Tiger was with the company either.
Scott: Well with that match signed, they
better be watching these two teams as both are sure to be wanting
title shots in the future.
The Mamalukes defeated The F.B.I when Johnny the Bull pinned L. Guido
after a powerslam in 0:03:50. In a battle of the Italian tag teams, the Mamalukes got the win. Big Sal was taken out as the Mamalukes come in by Vito with the stick ball bat. Vito and Johnny then went right at Guido and Tony. Tony and Vito were fighting on the floor, and in the ring Guido went for a flying bodyblock. Johnny however caught him in powerslam and got the quick win. We go to break with Johnny and Vito celebrating while Mamaluke and Guido looked stunned. After the break we see Mean Gene with the Mamalukes. Mean: Big Vito and Johnny the Bull, you just had a big win of the F.B.I, where do you go from here? Vito: We aren't done with them yet Gene. If you remember that little midget Tony Mamaluke brought us here to get Disqo because Disqo owed him money. Well he got his money from Disqo Gene, yet we never got paid for our services. John: He did give me a cheese sandwich Vito. Vito: John, I am talking about money, remember? John: Oh yeah, does this mean we get to break his thumbs? Vito: That and his legs, back and neck John. Hey Gene, you want to go paint the town red? Mean: Hell yeah Vito, lets go. Back to you Scott and Mike. Scott: Tony Mamalukes past coming back to haunt him Mike. Mike: Thats right Scott. Up next Bryan Clark will be in action. We see footage of from Monday Night of Brian Adams turning on his partner. We then see Clark in the ring. Clark: Adams, you made a Kronik mistake by turning on me. Adams, why don't you get out here now. Suddenly the arena goes dark and we see the Undertaker and Sting appear on the ramp. Taker: Bryan Clark, it looks like you are going to be the next victim here in WCW. First Chris Kanyon felt our power when I took his soul and turned him into just another one of my followers. Bryan Clark, you are next. Sting, go get me his soul.
Sting pinned Bryan Clark after hitting him with a road sign in 0:06:59. Bryan Clark left the ring and meet Sting on the ramp. The two fought back to the ring. In the ring both men took turns having control. Clark went for the Meltdown, but Sting floated over and went for the Scorpion Death Drop, which Clark just powered his way out of. This is when Brian Adams came to the ringside area. Clark hit a slingshot shoulderblock, that sent Sting into the ref. Brian Adams came in and attempted to hit Clark with a road sign, but Clark cut him off with a boot to the midsection. Clark signaled for the Meltdown, but Sting nailed him with the road sign. Sting made the cover and Brian Adams woke the ref up. The ref made the three count and the match was over. Sting and Brian Adams then worked over Bryan Clark until from the back out ran Bret Hart. Bret came in armed with a ball bat. We go to break with Sting leaving and Brian Adams trying to get Clark to come out of the ring.
After the break, we see that Billy Kidman has
joined Bret in the ring. We then see Mortis and Papa Shango
along with the Sinister Minister coming out for our next match.
The Ministry (Mortis and Papa Shango) defeated Billy Kidman and Bret
Hart when Mortis defeated B. Hart by disqualification in 0:03:53. In a short match, we see a huge brawl end it. The match was all Bret and Kidman really, until the Sinister Minster came in behind the ref's back and tossed a fireball that hit Kidman in the face. This brought Booker T out who came into the ring and gave Mortis the Book End which the ref saw and called for the bell. From the back out came Sting, Gangrel, Mikey Whipwreck and The Undertaker making the odds six on three. However Disqo, Lance Storm and Bryan Clark all come out making the odds even. We go to break with the twelve men brawling.
After the break we see Disqo and Mikey facing off
for the US Title.
Mikey Whipwreck pinned Disqo with the Whippersnapper in 0:02:09. Both men were showing signs that the brawl moments ago had taken its toll. The end came when Disqo went for the Last Dance. Mikey countered with a throw off, kicked Disqo in the gut, and gave him the Whippersnapper for the win. Hudson: Another win for Mikey Whipwreck Mike, and where will the power of the Ministry end? Tenay: Disqo just the latest to come up short against Mikey, but that isn't anything new for Disqo. Hudson: After the break, we will see the Tag Team Titles on the line.
The Foreign Connection (Alex Wright and William Regal) defeated Lo
Down when A. Wright pinned Chaz with the Reverse Neckbreaker in 0:07:58. After Lo Down claimed that WCW was full of Racist, they went out like a house of fire. Early on D-Lo hit his Sky High on Alex Wright and got what was thought to be a three count. However, William Regal was the legal man, and pointed this out to the official Billy Silverman. Billy was forced to restart the match. This is where things feel apart for Lo Down. Chaz tried a missile dropkick on Regal, but hit D-Lo. Chaz then was helping D-Lo up when Regal made the tag into Wright. Wright came in, hit the Reverse Neckbreaker and got the win. The Foreign Connection once again retained their titles. We go to break with Tiger and Lo Down yelling at the official. After the break we go to the announce table. Hudson: Well Lo Down almost pulled the upset Mike. Tenay: I don't know if it would be an upset Scott, with all of the great teams we have here in WCW. Hudson: Well up next, Booker T tries to get revenge for what Paul Wight did on Nitro.
We see footage of The Big Show just dominating
Booker T on Nitro during the tag match. We then go to the ring.
Paul Wight pinned Booker T with the Showstopper in 0:06:10. Booker entered first and as Wight entered the ring Booker attacked. Booker gave it his all with a series of rights, kicks to the midsection and a Harlem Sidekick that knocked Show out of the ring. Booker then waited for Show to entered and tried to attack again, but Show blocked it and headbutted Booker to the mat. Show then went on the offense. He hit several big headbutts and then a huge lariat that took Booker for a flip. Show went for a big elbow but Booker moved. Booker then started a come back. He hit a flying forearm and a flying dropkick. He then went to the top, but didn't get up there fast enough. Big Show caught him, and gave him the Showstopper from the top rope for the win. Hudson: What a punishing move by Show there Mike. Tenay: But what I was impressed with was the moves from Booker. He didn't back down one bit. Hudson: Booker is a fighter, and if given the shot should be the World Champion again.
Tenay: Speaking of a fight, our next match
will be just that as Vader takes on Rikishi after the break.
Big Van Vader pinned Rikishi with the Vader Bomb in 0:06:08. These two big huge monsters just went right after each other. They exchanged rights, but Vader got the better of that. Vader then hit a lariat taking Rikishi to the floor. Vader joined him and the two brawled on the floor. After Vader tossed Rikishi in Fit Finlay came out and attacked Vader, but Vader just knocked Finlay down. As Vader entered the ring, Rikishi hit a big leg drop. Rikishi hit a belly to belly and went for the Bonzai drop, but Vader moved. As Rikishi got up, Vader hit the big Vader Attack in the corner and then the Vader Bomb for the win. Hudson: Vader takes care of a big man there, but you have to wonder if his feud with Paul Wight is over. Tenay: If not, I hope the re-enforce the ring for the next battle. Hudson: After the break we will have the TV Title match between Lance Storm and the Undertaker. But first I understand that Mean Gene is with Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett. Mean: Owen, Jeff, tonight you two team up for the first time here in WCW. Jarrett: Well hello Jurassic slapass. Well the other Jurassic slapass around here, Hulk Hogan, decided he wanted to put four men in the ring that don't like each other. Owen: That is fine with us Gene. Because while we have had our problems, we are former partners and tonight we prove that we should be fighting for that title, and those two should be back over in Japan doing garbage wrestling. WHOO! Jarrett: Choke on that you Jurassic slapnut.
Mean: Blow it out your ass Jarrett. Up
next the big TV Title match.
Lance Storm pinned The Undertaker after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:06:44. Lance Storm and the Undertaker has a great match up, possibly the match of the night. Early on Storm was in trouble as he tried to match Taker power for power. Taker made the mistake and missed a leg drop. Storm then came to life with a flying elbow and went for the Maple Leaf. Taker still had some left and kicked Storm off. Taker ran into the ropes and went for a running DDT, but Storm countered with a Northern Lights suplex and got the big win. After the match however, Taker was upset. He gave Storm a huge Chokeslam and then the Last Rites before leaving. Hudson: Another heinous act by the Undertaker here Mike. I am sick of this already. Tenay: I agree Scott. Sooner or later someone is going to step up and stop this group of sicko's. Hudson: Storm is being helped to the back by the trainer, I think he just shook up. Well right now we are going to the back where Mark Madden is with Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka. Madden: Mike, in just a few minutes you team with this man against two men that you know quite well. But the big story is your teaming with Tanaka. Awesome: Mark, I don't like this, and I don't know where Hogan's head is. But if he wants fireworks, he has got it. Tonight I after I destroy that Canadian piece of garbage and that country piece of trash. Madden, don't bet against the champion. Madden: Tanaka, do you want to add anything? Tanaka gives the sign for the Roaring elbow and screams before leaving. Madden: Up next that big main event.
Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka defeated Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett
when M. Tanaka pinned O. Hart after a small package in 0:07:44. These two teams, if you want to call them that, were really just fighting among themselves. Early on Owen and Jeff did have some team work, but that stopped when Owen made a blind tag while Jarrett had the champ down. Owen and Jarrett then shoved each other allowing Awesome to make the tag. After Awesome made the tag he went to the floor, took his belt and left Tanaka high and dry. This however didn't hurt much since Jarrett and Owen were still fighting. Owen and Jarrett both made blind tags, and finally Jarrett had enough. Jarrett took his trusty guitar and clocked Owen. This allowed Tanaka to roll Owen up for the win. We go off the air with Jarrett standing over a fallen Owen Hart. |
