Notes:
Prior to marriage George lived at 76 St. Andrews St, Leith and Christina at 71 Kirkgate, Leith.
Both previously married and widowed. (Christina to a John Flint on 14.12.1845.
I.G.I Batch M119851 Source 1066696)
Married by Rev Harper of United Presbyterian Church, North Leith, Edinburgh.
When Son Andrew Jenkinson was born, George's occupation (According to the birth certificate) was a Market stall liquor merchant, although Norman Dick said he believed George later had a stall in Canongate Market, Edinburgh, selling such things as matches, candles jams etc.
Son Andrew Jenkinson Dick's death records says of George: " Wine and Spirit merchant"
Christina Fleming:
Died: 27.07.1887, Leith, Scotland
4 5
Died 04:30 am at 369 Leith Walk, Leith. NB: She died on her birthday!
Notes:
According to family bible, born in Dalmahoy. (This possible incorrect) Death certificate says Christina Flemings father was a Matthew Fleming and her mother's maiden name was Tait. But this differs with her birth record. There may be an error here of possible the family recording the death didn't know the details?)
Died from heart disease for 1 year. Aged 66 years
