My name is Joe and I'm a freelance editor and stay at home dad from Long Island, NY.
I'm a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, where I earned several awards for my work in editing, television technology, and copywriting.
Since graduating, I've been working as a freelance video editor.
I decided to start GEM Productions as a way to stay home with my two year old daughter and pursue my love of editing.
In that time I've done work for private clients, schools, clubs, and of course friends and family.
My goal with GEM Productions is to give people a chance to turn their pictures and videos into DVDs that are created by a proffesional so that they can enjoy the memories forever. All without the price gouging that photography and videography studios are known for.
This way, your family and friends will actually want to watch your videos.
