| Ulster Select XV Win Convincingly |
| The Ulster Select XV gained a convincing win over the Celtic Warriors last night at Ravenhill, winning 57-15. However, it was a very lighthearted occasion, and fun for all the family. The match itself was an outright win for Ulster from the start, despite fielding a vastly changed side due to injury. But those who were not playing also had a role in the evening. Several of the players helped in collecting change for the four charities to which the money will go. The game gave a chance for stars, old and new, to enjoy themselves. It consisted of tries from Tyrone Howe, Ryan Constable and Paddy Johns himself. With the crowd fully behind him, he attempted the conversion himself....however he 'narrowly' missed the kick, but the crowd, and Paddy, enjoyed it. The main highlight of the evening was definitely Paddy's try, but there were others. Following one of the many Ulster tries, and trailing by over 20 points, the Celtic team decided to field their best players against the Ulster squad - all 25!! So, Ulster accepted the challenge and managed to hold off the rather large opposition. Despite the rain and hail, fun was had by all....players and spectators.
