Welcome to Raven's tattoo page
I currently have three tattoos but am always adding to them as I am having a whole pagan back piece done, keep checking back to see my progress.

This was my first tattoo done on my lower back, It took about 2 hours because there was a lot of shading, Its like a cross between Celtic and tribal, with a Triquetra in the middle to symbolise the triple goddess and magic of the number 'three' that occurs in nature, ie the 3 moon phases, three cycles of life etc.

This was my second tattoo, I decided to stick to the Celtic theme and tied it in with nature by entwining vines around the pattern. It took about 2 hours and the shading has a grainy stone like effect.

My third tattoo took 2 sessions, the first for the outline, and the second for the colouring. This is a goddess/witch placed on one side of my spinal tattoo, she is holding a raven which is eating out of her hand. She is in one of the early goddess phases ie maiden/mother. There is a lot of detail in the raven, shading of the feathers and head. The hair took the longest as it is one of the main features.
My next tattoo is next month and going to be my white goddess ie in 'crone' phase on the other side of my spinal tat.
pain wise it is not too bad, it feels similar to waxing and a bit scratchy, sometimes it burns a little bit after but nothing major, i know i'm in safe hands and afterwards i am so pleased with the results that it hurting doesnt seem to matter!
