Hemorrhage
My heart is bleeding again
All over my life
Misery dripping and spreading
You see death in my face.
I can see from a distance
A pool of my dreams
But it’s draining away
With each breath and each scream
And I’m dwelling again
About what might have been
Each tear I spill
Takes a piece of my heart
The feeling that pulls in my chest
Rips the tissue of my heart
Hemorrhage sets in
And I bleed from within
Blood pumping inside my body
But not in my veins
In the hollow shell, that is me.
