Homs 101
A Brief Introduction to the Rare Homosapiens Locus |
|
|
|
I am the homosapiens locus. My name is Brian, some call me gem.
I am a 22 year old State Tested Nursing Assistant. I work as a restorative nursing assistant with the therapy department at a nursing home in Newar, Ohio.
I have training as a pharmacy technician.
I have a license in radiography.
This means, I have the ability and knowledge necessary to inject you with toxic substances, which break down quickly, and take the radiographs which would show no structural malformations - and the contacts necessary to ensure that all of the lab work comes back "normal."
be afraid, be very afraid. |

I am gay.
I am . . . very gay.
But, I don't broadcast it. My sexuality is in my step, my hips, my arms, my eyes,
but, it is mine, and mine alone.
I am comfortable with my sexuality -- I have been in relationships, of all types, with indiviuals who were uncomfortable with either my (or their) sexuality . . . but, I, personally, have no issues with my (or your) sexuality. |
|
|
I am a full time college student.
I attend Columbus State Community College,
where my declared major is nursing, but my actual major is sociology and pre-med.
I plan on transferring to OSU where I'll get my bachelor of arts degree, then I'll attend medical school somewhere other than Ohio.
I'll complete a combined residency in Emergency and Internal Medicine, and after a few years of doing locum tenens work as an ER physician, I'll settle in one location, where I will work in one ER, and I'll establish a non-profit clinic to treat HIV/AIDS patient.
I'll also open a non-profit organization called "The Center For a Brighter Future" which will be endowed with the staff necessary to train lower and low-middle class individuals in healthcare careers, so that these individuals can better provide for their families. |

I'm a whore for a solid quote -- my boyfriend has quickly learned this.
Here are a few of particular importance to me.
"All of our experiences begin, and end, within us." (Krauss and Borja) "No man is an island on his own." (unknown) "One cannot be chief with blood on hands." (former teacher) "The only barrier between us, and the realization of our own divinity is ignorance." (Richard Chamberlin) |

I am a passive-agressive, passionate, artist -- trapped in a world so bent on surreality, that it's a challenge to differentiate that which is real, from that which is not. I am a captor of individuality, reality, surreality, identity -- on film, in words, in voice. |

I have bipolar disorder.
That means I'm a little crazy at times -- and alot crazy at other times.
I take medication called Lithium, to help mellow me out -- so I'm just a little goofy, rather than . . . the former me,
skipping through the mall, baref00ted in a floor-length black skirt and a flowered lei. |

If you stumbled upon this website, looking for a date, I like massages, long walks in the rain, thunderstorms, and, my boyfriend. |

|
I am a casually paced person -- I don't hurry -- I never rush or move quickly, unless I'm certain . . . pull up a chair, have some tea . . . I'll be along shortly -- I exist, in my own time. |
