Author's Note: Seems I can never resist posting the epilogue with the final chapters, lol. Thanks to all those who read and expecially to those who reviewed. Next Mega Man fic will me an MMX fic, though that won't be posted until after my next Star Fox fic, and my next Bretheren Arcanum fic. I'm trying to keep in pattern. Might post a couple of extra stories I already have written from a long time ago, don't know. What do you think? ;)

Epilogue: Just to Answer a few Questions

A couple of months later Mega was outside mowing the lawn for Dr. Light. He was feeling pretty perky. the day was nice, the weather fair, and everything had returned to like it always had been. Wily still cause trouble, and Mega always defeated him, usually with Break Man’s help. The incident with the energy can had become a little joke between the brothers, especially after one battle when Mega had refused again. The blue bomber laughed to himself as he recalled how startled Break Man had looked, and then how both had laughed when Mega pulled out an energy can of his own, quipping that he’d learned the first time. Break Man had laughed and asked which first time.

Suddenly a small portal opened right in his path. Mega slammed on the breaks so as to not his anything that came out. Then he cut off the mower’s engine and went around to see.

He found a small crystal rod on the ground, as well as a note. The portal closed as he bent to pick it up. The note read:

Dear Mega and Break Man,

Hey! It’s Zatana. Just thought you might want this. It's a portal maker that my mother gave to me, just in case you wanted to visit. Just hold it out in front of you and say “K'Tal: Kijo’s Glen” or “K'Tal: K'Tan.” I’ll find you, or a friend will. And I’m glad everything worked out for you both. Family is something that everyone needs to make life whole.

Zatana

P.S. My mother, Zana, wanted me to say hi to Break Man for her. And so did your cross-world counterparts. Mega says that all of you should get together sometime. If you want to, I can probably arrange it. Just send me a message. :)

Mega smiled at the letter, then picked up the portal maker and jogged inside to put it someplace safe. Zatana's final bit of wisdom was something he’d learned the hard way, and it was a lesson he’d take to heart.

As always a visored figure watched over Mega from up in the high branches of a tree. He’d watched over Mega in the past, and could continue to do so. After all, they were brothers, and that was one of the things that brothers were for.
