A/N: I really didn't want to take Orko off-world again, but honestly I just couldn't remember enough of Eternia to do anything with it. So, anything in this new world other then Orko belong to me, and is my original world. Please don't steal. Also, I know this chapter is short, but I had to divide one chapter into two when I realized how long it was becoming, and there are only so many places to divide a chapter where it will still sound good and make sense.
Chapter 4: Trapped in a Nightmare
"Please, Dreamer, hurry. We much hurry," the elf whispered, stepping by his fellow to pull Orko up. "It he catches us, we're all worse than dead." The pegasus slid outside, quickly, and the prisoners climbed onto its back. The elf gently tugged Orko's arm. "Hurry!" He then joined the others. Orko shook his head to clear it, and moved to follow when he suddenly heard a sharp, agonized cry from within the Tower. Instantly he spun around.
"You can do nothing for him," a faerie said. "He is lost to us, or soon will be."
"I can't just leave someone behind like that," Orko replied, the echoed of that cry piercing his very soul and giving him courage unlike anything he'd ever felt before. He turned form the escapees and began to go back.
"Good luck, Dreamer," whispered the elf, and the pegasus flew away, leaving Orko there to face the Tower again. He re-entered it, and flew up the stairs to the top floor. There he took a deep breath, and peered in.
